I absolutely hate the direction the game went with. All you needed to do was recreate Baker Story with better graphics and fixed the other problems with it. Yeah, it looks nicer but the gameplay and method of making dishes is miserable. You need to buy ingredients from stores and have to wait for them to "restock" ingredients, then those ingredients take up space in a pantry you can only upgrade through super rare notes from a specific npc. Decor is limited as well. Play the original, not this.

It's a pretty fun game I'd rate it 5 stars but there's some issues that greatly affect gameplay. For starters everything depends on Liam's thank you notes which would be fine if he always gave you them, but it's hard to progress when you go 2-3 days without receiving one and you have a quest or expansion that requires a thank you note.. The other thing is It doesn't let me store my appliances there's no point in making daily bread anymore but I can't store it to make room for other appliances.

It just takes so long to actually make any progress without spending money. It's fun until you realize you have to save up 1.5M to unlock a new recipe. Without buying any coins or anything, you have to save up money for weeks at a time to even afford something. It takes weeks to have enough resources to upgrade storage or stock. If you actually want a game to progress in fairly quickly, don't get this, it is a waste of time. It takes too long for it to be worth it.

I was so excited to find that there is now a bakery story 2! I loved Bakery Story 1!! The graphics are much better now and love what you have added. Sadly I have installed your Home Design Makeover game (it's in my to-do list) and have not been rewarded for playing it in my bakery and it seems to glitch when I leave from expanding. The camera won't move back to the restaurant so have to restart the game sometimes.

This game is fun but it has so many bugs and glitches in it from not being maintained in over 5 years... Its a waste of time to change flooring or wall paper because it glitches anyways and messes up what you've done. You can attempt to collect thank you notes but once you go to use them they are no longer there. I would suggest finding something better to do with your time..

5 Stars, all the way. I love the graphics and the storyline-esk of the game. I think my favorite part is definitely that you can get diamonds from playing other games and then you get can more coins by buying them with diamonds. Although, when I have no wifi and I'm just using data, the game unlocks other ingredients when I'm not on that level (you cant buy them anyways) just pointing out that bug. Otherwise great game.

Fun game, although have had problems. It's much too easy to accidentally spend gems on dumb things, like speeding up baking, which wouldn't be as much of an issue if we could earn free ones. Also, when I was trying to upgrade my pantry up to 40, had 5 shelves, 2 thank notes and a basket, but only kept getting coin, even though there was room. Tried deleting the basket, didn't work. Deleted the 5 shelves and got a thank you note, but just started getting coin again. Had to buy shelf. Very annoyed

Pro: this game is addicting. Cons: the random drops of things are weird. I haven't had many issues with the stuff you get via deliveries until now, it asked me to deliver a recipe that is only unlocked via a task. That task is using another a tool that gifts you a random piece of furniture once a day, you have to complete the collection to unlock the recipes. It's been a month, and I still haven't gotten the pieces I need. It crashes, and the secret club could be better.

I'm just so disappointed in how they've changed this fun enjoyable app to nothing but a money grab. We can't even enjoy playing a game on our phone due how much money and time they've changed just to keep up with other apps. Highly disappointed. I played this game for 4 years and loved it. You have to flexibility and choice to expand the restaurant, decorate, add appliances when you want and need all without having to pay to do so. Now we have to pay for it or wait a certain time to do that.

It's good as far as cooking games go but It's buggy. When I go to exit it freezes my phone for at least 10 seconds. Most of the time though it messes up my phone where my home screen pic gets changed to the default black swiggles. I've had to reboot my phone every day since installation because it keeps freezing up during the game.

Not as good as one and I am disappointed. I used to love one but unfortunately it isn't compatible with the latest version of Android which is the only reason I'm playing two. I absolutely hate the system of needing ingredients but having to wait a specific amount of time or needing items but rarely getting them without putting in tons of time and effort. It makes playing this game a grind which just doesn't suit a casual experience. Or needing to pay real money, which sucks.

I used to really like playing this game but since I reached level 45 I haven't been able to advance past that level and it's been at least 5 months since that happened. Also there are no more challenges and I have all these keys from the secret baker challenges that I can't do anything with and a bunch of coins I can't buy anything but ingredients with. To the makers of the game add more levels and challenges. Please and Thank you!

It's a great game and I love it more than the first, however. I have had some issues. I've noticed some of my flooring will reset and go back to default and I'll need to buy the tiles again. And more annoyingly, I tried to open Jack's Dry Goods. And once it finished it was Michelle's Luxury Shop which I shouldn't have till later. The building was the right building for Dry Goods but it's like the coding got mixed up between Jack and Michelle. So now I can't get access to his items. Which I need.

All of the games like this seem to have disappeared in the last year or so, so now you're stuck with this if you want to play a restaurant game where you're not being timed when you serve customers. The character design is a little ugly, and so are some of the restaurant design options. It would also be more fun if you had a somewhat reliable way to get items you need to upgrade. Instead, you have to fill to go orders (and some take hours to complete), and then you only have a small chance to get items you need. Half the time they give out way too little cash instead.

Addicting game and much better than the original. But a huge problem is the issue with the blue maps and thank you notes. It's impossible to expand your bakery or complete tasks when the notes are never appearing and there's no other way of getting them. The same with the blue maps. They are both needed for so much yet the game doesn't give you more ways to get them.

Cute and fun, but crashes constantly. I really like playing the game, but it's frustrating how often it crashes. Literally any time I enter the editing/buying section where you move your furniture around our buy new stuff, it crashes within seconds. I'm lucky if I get 5 to 10 before it crashes back to my home screen. Makes playing frustrating and will probably stop soon. Wish this didn't happen so I could give it a better score.

Game is pretty fun but I have some issues. There should be a text box that appears and asks "are you sure you want to spend your gems?" It's incredibly easy to accidentally waste them. It's so easy that it feels intentional. It's nearly impossible to upgrade anything without spending a lot of actual money. Was 3 stars but dropping to 1 until they allow us to store our appliances. Some quests require you unlock appliances. I shouldn't have to keep appliances if I don't want them wasting space

The game is addicting and fun but I have a problem with space. I have more cooking appliances and counters then I do space to serve the customers. Is there a way we could gain more space instead of getting one row at a time? Two rows are better then one and would greatly help in creating more space. Also need more space for storing items. Food and parts should be separate. The game has not been updated since 2016

I really do love this game. It's so much better than the first Bakery Story. I absolutely hate how difficult it is to upgrade anything. The pieces you need to get to upgrade anything are so random and rare that it makes it impossible. At the end of the day, you pretty much just have to buy gems to help upgrade your storage/building etc. which sucks!

Sadly changing my 5 star review to 1 star. It also takes forever just to get to the next level. You spend so much time earning all those coins only to spend nearly all of them to unlock a simple ingredient. & on top of that, you still have to earn back all those coins, or even more, to be able to use that same ingredient for a recipe that has to be unlocked as well, just to be able to learn it & sell. Great graphics & game. Needs major improvement. Had it for years, but sadly have to uninstall.
