This is a really nice app, however you run out of questions pretty quickly, then the membership fee is extortionate. Considering what this app is and what it's for, it's stupid expensive. Should just be a one time fee, not a monthly subscription.

Came across this on Instagram thru an ad by the devs. I've been using this for a few days now, everything works pretty well so far, some basic and some thought provoking simple but overall really good conversation starters. The paywall is there but not in your face or annoying so far. There's plenty to talk about and answer even tho I'm just using the free version, definitely recommend. I definitely wish there was a way to request data deletion for sure though.

(edit added in the end) everything is great tbh, the features the ui, but i have one big issue the canvas doesn't really work on androids Me and my girlfriend both have androids but her canvas is somehow of 1:2 ratio and mine is more of a 1:1 So i can't really see what she writes in the bottom part of the canvas edit- the team actually did a great job on this! it seems to be fixed now and everything works perfectly Thank you :)

Despite having great WiFi, the app continues to say I'm offline and doesn't allow me to open it. It worked for a week and then this happened. Giving it two stars because for that one week it was cute except for the fact you have to pay to use parts of the app.

we lost a streak despite having logged in every day. can't figure out how to get widgets on samsung it looks like it's not available notifications are a little annoying as you get them even if youre in the app, but they dont go away once you read it in the app. clicking on them dont take you to what they relate to

I have a complaint; my app was working perfectly before, but now it says it is taking too long to open. m Try relaunching Candle or checking your network connection. It eventually vanishes. I try again, and the process repeats itself. By the way, my network is perfectly fine. Please fix this matter.

genuinely one of the best apps for long distance relationships, it's helped us a ton to not get too distant or argumentative, instead it's provided a regular way to connect without needing to come up with conversation topics ourselves. there are no cons.

The app has some truly fun questions and new takes and we've had the issue of the daily question limit showing just how fun they are. When I had issues I emailed support and they would reply back with a working solution within a few hours, and our streak was restored the same day. Plenty of updates and passionate team

I sign up but it never launches the app itself. After inputting my details, it simply crashes. Edit: After the new update, it was fixed. I appreciate you getting on the issue quickly!

it's interesting and fun...when it works. the drawing thing is cut off so i can just barely guess and click the top 5% of the buttons. i can't even see the top of the color shader. second i cant answer questions because even before i type it all in the send button is wsy off screen and impossible to press. i wanna have some long distance fun from my gf while im away but it brokeded. :/ it just doesn't support the format of my Galaxy S24 Ultra i guess. please fix this! Edit: They fixed it!

Great app, enjoying it very much. I previously gave it 3 star as it was sort of glitchy, but the question & answer aspect of it is really fun. No that the glitches have been resolved by the amazing developers, I have given it 4 stars. A small suggestion for 5 stars would be to make the notifications more intuitive. Like, right now I get confused by the notifications, as the old notifications don't disappear after I have opened a chat or responded to an activity, which is confusing.

This is a really good app I've had it for over 2 weeks and I've been using it just fine.I've been trying to open it this morning but it keeps saying "This is taking longer than usual check your Internet" which I'm not sure why since I've been using it and haven't had this problem. update:They have responded without me having to email them thank you for listening.

Have used the app for a good 8 days, it's been lovely for me. But it has been giving me issues and not opening since morning, for both my partner and I. I tried reinstalling it and tried everything I could. Still won't work, please fix this bug. All it says is "taking longer than expected to open. check your internet...." and then it just crashes and turns off. Edit : The team was really quick on replying to me and that's lovely! Hopefully the issue gets resolved soon. Thank you!

Your app has some bizarre functionality issues. 9 out of 10 times I try to open it, it tells me to check my internet connection. I have been able to open the app at least once using data and at least once using my home wifi. While the app asks me to check my connection, EVERYTHING else on my phone has top speed connection. It is not a connection issue. The app is broken. Please, fix it.

Started playing with my boyfriend for the free version. Couldn't get enough so decided to spring for the hefty $12.99 month subscription until we can reunite (we're long distance). The past 24 hours, the app has not been accessible and has crashed before even opening. Very disappointing and wish I hadn't paid for this app. When its working, its SO FUN. But be warned, I definitely will not be subscribing another month. update: the team was able to solve the issues and get the service back.

This app has a lot of potential! It already has some really cool stuff. However, no widget for the canvas even though ios has it. I also love drawing and wish there was a way to zoom in and change brush size. Lastly, I wish you could directly reply to certain messages in conversations. I've only had it for one day, but I love it. I have been looking for a good LDR app.
