Since they changed it to auto collect, that is awesome. My only complaint is that if they game isnt open then it just stops collecting any more money until you log in again. Wish we could have like a bank feature of something that would. Collect it for us and then just take a small cut of the taxes as payment. But it is just an idea. This is a lot like the old sim games on the computer!

The game is really good and all, but there's a somewhat major inconvenience that wastes a considerable amount of time. When building, it would be nice if we were able to build multiple buildings simultaneously without having to place themdown individually and this goes for the other buildings, and objects. Example, lets say I want to build 300 trees to fill a certain area, without the tool to place them all simultaneously I would have have to place them individually-

It is a good game but it will lock me out to my homescreen automatically after like 20 sec. But overall there was major improvement from the recent version. There are a lot more options to choose from like road upgrades. But if i may suggest keep it sort of small because i dont know how it would impact the speed and memory of the game. But if you do decide to expand the options include a search bar & as long as you remember you can search with out scrolling a lot. But I could be wrong.

I have just downloaded this game today, and am thoroughly entertained. This is a pleasant city-building game without a whole mess of controls to learn and variables to worry about, the sounds are immersive without being over-the-top obnoxious, and the city components themselves are cute and colorful with a wide variety of designs. Are there other maps or boards for this, or do you only get to play the one you start with?

This is a great stimulate game... good for all ages, plus it lets your mind design a whole city the way you want to! Graphics are also as well... I wish there were more of a sound effect and little people walking around to make it feel more realistic, like roller coaster tycoon. But without that, it's still a great app!

I've been playing this game for a long time. It's always fun and you never have to pay for anything. Lately however it's been crashing on me and some things are not showing up like the lines on my runways. Hopefully this can be fixed. Update: still crashing over and over every time I play. Things are going blank or glitching then crashing again. And I'm getting no response from developers. Also it no longer works at all on my phone, just my tablet. It opens but I can't do anything with it!

If you love city building games, this is THE best one out there! I have played for several years now, and still Love it! They update it regularly with new buildings, and there is tons of land to build upon. This is a long term game with an active community of players to inspire creativity. Monthly screenshot competitions to participate in, challenges, and dynmaics to keep you striving for a better city. But play your way, and design your city any way YOU want. Possibilities are nearly endless.

Highly Addictive! I love this game, of all the ones I have tried and played that were similar, this one is the best. My only suggestion and it may already be a setting I haven't found is to have the money automatically go into your account instead of having to touch each pile of money as it appears. This is the only thing that gets a little annoying at times, if there was some way this could be avoided and have the funds just accumulate, it would be great. Thanks for a great game.

Started playing today. Seems to be simple to pick up n the money flows pretty good. Update: I love the new buildings that have been added! The flags are sweet as well! Really would like the color coded grid view back. It helped me get to see easily which buildings need to be upgraded and also which type of buildings I have concentrated in the area. Also, can we have a mass upgrade type of function. Someone else mentioned a mass building placement option as well that I support.

Very addictive! I am playing on three different devices for three different cities of different designs. I love the continued updates in the game making it better and more featured. The game designers are responsive to questions and suggestions. You can certainly pay to improve your city quicker if you want, but paying real money is not required to enjoy the game. Ads are not intrusive, you pick if you want to watch ads and in reward you get some gold or a diamond. Excellent system of play.

I enjoy the game. I do wish there was the option to construct freeways with overpasses, and underpasses, etc. Also, I wish there were more options for industrial buildings, and commercial buildings. Some suggestions would be car dealerships, industrial parks(multiple items like there is for the zoo), convention centers, etc. Another thing that would be nice is to be able to make certain sections of roads have one way traffic and be able to assign the direction of traffic in these sections.

Very good game. I only have a few suggestions 1: when we look in the challenges, we should be able to touch one of the required items and it take us to the buy screen. 2: i would remove the gold cost to collect all income. 3: have a 360° view rather than viewing everything from only 2 sides. overall excellent game that i would suggest. you can get everything in the game for free.

Best city builder I've played so far! So many details and open space! The graphics of the buildings, fauna, water...well,, everything is really clean and detailed! The variety is the best I've seen in such a game! I think maybe I'm biting off too much to chew but I love these types of challenges! It's a lot to take in ..in a good way. Just wish 6ou could zoom in more and out enough to see the whole thing but it's not a deal breaker. Highly recommend!

Really fun - I really enjoy the game as a whole and there's endless possibilities with buildings and design - I've played for a long time and I really have had a blast with all the game has had to offer. 1 Glitch I've noticed lately is if you place the different terrains on the ground and you close the game and re-load it - the terrain doesn't save, I hope this is fixed soon! I was hoping to make my city a snow covered paradise, but can't with the current glitch.

This is one of my favorite city building games I've found. I love how it doesn't take a million years to level up/unlock more items. My only small complaint is its hard to accumulate gold. Money is easy but gold not so much unless you buy microtransactions. I love the detail, animation, how many different styles of buildings there are and the map is HUGE. So many city building games fall flat by having way too many available possible items and not nearly enough potential space for them all.

Hi, this is a fabulous game, very enjoyable. I have three suggestions. 1. Unlimited Storage Space 2. A way to put all buildings into storage or a temporary storage of some kind for remodeling of the city and a way to select which buildings to put into storage for moving them across the city to a different location. 3. The ability to name buildings and label districts. This is less functional and more just for enjoyability. Please review my suggestions and let me know what you think.

I suddenly became obsessed with finding a city building game that I liked, and I LOVE Designer City.. The graphics are great, and sophisticated, whereas other game's graphics are usually very cartoonish and unrealistic. Also, houses=people, which =Bill's, and bills=jobs, and etc, etc... So there's a real ecological and practical feeling to the game as well, so it involves strategy and problem solving. I really love it, and am excited to see updates

Great game, highly recommend this or its successor, Designer City 2, for anyone who enjoys games like this. I do have a suggestion for the developers: add highways. I'm currently using roads lined with trees to act as highways, but I would like to see actual highways added into the game. They could be 2 squares wide and used to eliminate traffic and link various parts of a city. Just a thought. Otherwise great game, looking forward to the next update!

Starts off slow but the learning curve is easy, and once you figure out the metrics you find it easy to balance residence with employment and maintaining 150% happiness is rather refreshing. All in all a nicely designed app that actually works and is fun to play, however, I would like to see an option to change the environment your city is in whether you choose when you start your city or somewhere during its later development. An option that allows you to change from green fields to maybe a desert setting or even an arctic or frozen setting would be nice. I think earlier when I suggested this, I was hoping for a one click approach that would transform the city at one shot to the terrain of your choice or at least allow you to designate so much of the city to be transformed as opposed to a tile by tile approach. Still, it is a nicely done fun to play app.

This is a wonderful game! Cool graphics that remind me of old simcity, variety of building, prices to buy extra cash has great deals, and the interesting design of all the buildings. 2 things I wish were in the game though. First diamonds are hard enough to get one, unless you pay only a couple bucks. The second is a sandbox mode would be nice considering there are so much awesome buildings, but not until you are almost done with the game you can build them. But still, awesome game!
