Overall it's a fun game but it has some issues that keep it from being even better. The interface is wierd in places. Tapping to upgrade a skill or make a purchase can require multiple taps before it registers and tapping in the same place doesn't work every time. Also, the game doesn't explain everything super well. No real explanation of how workers affect the game making process. The hints aren't clear as to how they should be interpreted. It's enjoyable but could be better.

Edit: Aug 3rd 2021: Made it to level 50, needs more depth. Very repetitive now. So far I haven't encountered any bugs, the tutorial is short but gives you enough of an understanding to get going. Kinda refreshing from games that hold your hand and show you every aspect in detail. It's not hard to figure out, it just requires a modicum of common sense.

Pretty fun game, my only issue is that when you go to upgrade something like your computer parts or engine, it doesn't work. I eventually was able to buy computer parts but I still can't upgrade my engine and it's a little frustrating. Also, of course, lots of ads. Which I understand why they need ads, just want to let someone else know in case they are interested in this game.

Not too bad, never played the first one but I'm having a blast with this version. I like the fact it's offline and saves progress, allowing you to play anywhere, the concept is fun enough and separate from all the damn idle clickers. I enjoy it and definitely recommend. Good time killer, easy to follow tutorial that doesn't drag on and make you buy meaningless stuff, and a solid concept. Tycoons always work well on Mobile, and this shows that.

Game is great as far as gameplay. Ads aren't too bad overall. My only complaint would be the occasional ad when I open a menu or advertise. It's doesn't seem like a reward; It seems like it's a main function of the game, and it totally disrupts the play flow. They're usually only 5 second ads, but it's a bit of an off putting monetization tactic. Just stick to optional things, please. Don't make us watch ads every few minutes just to play your game.

The gameplay is a simpler version of the first DevTycoon. It's fun, experimental, and easy to grasp without much of a tutorial. That being said, there's some shortcuts taken. Development isn't too complex, yet at the same time there's no explanation given on the extra step for AAA development. Late game costs (licenses) are negligibly cheap. Numbers are difficult to determine with such small font. But, I spent $2 for no ads and that's it. Game is a great buy for what you get.

As soon as i started playing i loved the game, if you don't have much to do and want time to pass fast download this. I wish it was easier to use research points, i know you can hold the button to upgrade it fast but it's hard to do so since the tabs move without you wanting to, it's too sensitive and it keeps swiping up and down before being able to use the desired points

The game's fairly entertaining. If you don't buy the option to remove ads you might be a little frustrated because of the boosts in the game which require you to watch an ad. They're only boosts, though, and there aren't a lot of forced ones. There's this bug where every time I watch an ad the mute feature bugs out and I just hear the sound of my character typing. I might also occasionally hear the music in the background again. Then I have to disable it and re-enable it again.

It's a really fun game with nice little details. One thing I'd like though is more things to unlock after hitting level 50 and owning every pc part and making your own engine with all the upgrades. Also it would be cool if when working on a game an employee or two could be put into doing the small coding works. Overall a really fun experience.

The game itself is amazing. Definitely something to pass the time with minimal effort. The ADS are aweful. I can't even switch from the screen I'm looking at without getting an AD. Ontop of that the ADS play at Max volume. I get it. You need to make money to improve the game but don't use so many forced ADS. The optional ADS are not bad. It's the forced ads that are irritating and make me not want to play anymore.

Love it. Only complaint I have is with the hacker minigame. It pops up so randomly and there is no start button to it and I have multiple times now been trying to spend research points or level my character and then the hacker thing pops up and I smash 2 or 3 wrong answers and get punished for it. Just maybe a notification or a quick pause before the hacker game starts would be it. (You can turn it off.. if you pay)

Awesome game, really fun especially after getting a studio. Ads could be less frequent but they are in good places (when changing UIs, finishing/starting production, etc.) The hacker attacks should have some warning cause they pop up randomly and musclicking and failing is easy. Besides this it is very fun. Also easier ways to get skill/research would be nice.

The game is pretty goood, its not completely clear on some things though. For example, there are science points that are used for options such as new themes and options for your games. I kept spending science points on themes until I realized it was takong away points needed for upgraded type things. I also realized much later in the game that "science points" are the exaxt same thing as "research points" which go into marketing and building game engines. I wasted lots of points on themes.

Solid experience... With some issues. It seemed like after I made my first 5 games they just stopped debugging at all. Even after force closing the app. I'm glad ads aren't shoved down your throat too badly and my only other gripe is research points for genres engines and learning books all come from the same pool for some reason. Fix these things and 5/5

Good game overall and addictive, but there are some things that feel like would help alot and improve it like multi platform release, games you make affect trending, and multi genre games. I dont know if I just havent got that far yet but it also seems like there is only one game engine, if that's the case then I hope there will be more or atleast more upgrades to the engine later on. Edit: thank you for replying!

Game takes a little longer to figure out than its prequel, but by no means is hard to get. Gameplay is simple and looooads of fun especially if you're a fan of min maxing things. I'm gonna keep playing for a hot minute on this bad boy since it doesn't absolutely pummel your face in with ads, and there aren't any forced ones. All are optional, and only assist the games pace. It's nice since the game flows quick enough as is, so the ads aren't needed to get through anything.

Some bugs - the top 10 games by money/rating doesn't work properly since I have 10.0 games that show up for top by money but don't even appear on the top by rating screen. And there's minor stuff like UI optimization could be tweaked, for example I don't think you can refill energy from a studio, only from home? At the same time though, I *never* play mobile games. Like 2 or 3 since getting a phone at all. And I'm actually playing this one. So it's good. Definitely worth trying.

Give maybe one second longer on the hacker mini game. Sometimes if you are not entirely prepared you cannot find what your looking for. That one second could help. Tech and graphic balancing. Right now my tech is 20 levels higher than my graphics and my graphics are still out performing on my "games". All in all fun, a little off but fun. Worthwhile game. Also, an assortment of more features could do the game some good.

I played this game a few years ago and remember enjoying it quite a bit. Upon coming back to it i found that almost all of the charm is still there, but the ammount of ads being used is straight up predatory. In the span of 5 minutes just playing the game i got 9 ads. An ad almost every 30 seconds is absurd and the only reason this game doesnt get 5 stars.

The game is fun and unique, even though the ad push is sometimes annoying the uniqueness pays for it. The reason it isn't 5 is because even though I bought an entirely new engine when I bought the ability, it's still making me use the old unity engine whenever I build a game instead of using the new engine. I don't know if this is a bug or I'm just doing something wrong
