Been playing from day one. Tatics always being in my top three final fantasy games this game has been a delight. Now I may get 2 minutes of game time before the game crashes. I have easily dropped 1000$ into the game over the last 3-4 years. I've Uninstalled, cleared cache, ect. Contacted customer support and was told to rest assured, it would be fixed and I would be contacted. Been weeks. Still crashes, still no update, and I'm missing the new limited content that won't be compensated

I downloaded the game & beat the first 2 tutorial fights then once I return to the main menu to collect rewards the game crashes. Annoying but, I reopen to collect rewards from the bingo board getting the 2 available then game crashes again.... If the devs have any intention of gaining new players then they need to fix the constant crashes that apparently plagues the entire game from other comments on here.

For myself at least the crashing has been fixed. I am still not happy that android took a month to fix and IOS got a fix in a day. Otherwise the game itself is good fun. Plenty for a free to play player to do if you save up the in game currency earned and given out for the higher tier units. It's like FFT but in your pocket. The story is very engaging as well and there are battle options to get suggestions on the best move to make if you are not sure.

It's an alright experience. What sucks is getting a new unit you don't have, but the Bingo Board is already done (timed out) for that character. It will take you at least a month or two to fully build them and play, but by the that time, the unit may be replaced already with a newer one. My suggestion is reinstating the Bingo Board for your new character with no time limit. Help me have more fun and build them a bit quicker.

Great Gameplay - Decent story, and dialogue, nice art - The gameplay is based on Final Fantasy Tactics. 3D graphics don't feel nearly as endearing as the 2d sprites from Tactics but they don't look bad. The dialogue captures archiac English/ Elizabethen speech at times, which I love (similar to War of the Lions, and FFXIV). WotV is fair, for the most part, and an excellent mobile game.

Useless to attempt to play this game on Android 14 as it is plagued with constantly crashing for months on end. You will miss content due to the crashing and there will be no compensation to offset limited items you missed. Nearly 2 months already of the crashing and little to no communication from developers about actually addressing the issue. Don't waste your time.

Idk, I wanted to like it for the strategy-rpg gameplay, but it's pretty much just another mobile game experience. Way too many resources and currencies, constant red dot chasing, gacha loot-box mechanics running rampant, over-gifting of items and characters and stuff... And of course, an auto play button so the game can just play itself while you do something else. Personally, I'd say just go play FF Tactics instead.

Pay to win ff tactics in a nutshell. Fun without money still though! Edit: been playing for over a year. The game is still p2w but it's to be expected on a mobile platform. I've been having a major game crash bug for nearly 2 months now and no word on a fix yet. If this isn't happening to you I'd suggest the game for long term play but with this bug I'm really doubting if I want to continue playing.

This is not a half bad game I won't lie. But it DOES have problems. Even though I PERSONALLY am not experiencing crashes that doesn't mean the problem is gone. That's a major issue that needs fixed. However the characters are just ok and so is the plot and general gameplay. To me it feels like a half baked pie. Looks amazing on the outside but when you get in you get greeted with Gacha, One Use Blueprints and Unfun Gameplay. If you want a good tactics game go play WOTL or even the Advanced game.

This game was fantastic, the integration of characters from other series into a final fantasy tactics style mobile was beyond solid. Subtle tweaks to mechanics when they got stale was also well done and appreciated. However if your playing on a phone it has been incessantly crashing since around the last bout of Ultros raids, no new patches or downloads have fixed it and it has made the game virtually unplayable, unless you plan on using bluestacks or some other emulator to play. Dissapointing

I kept a 5 star review up since the game launched. It was amazing at its time. But the terrible dev team has ruined it for me. A few months back, the game kept on crashing and was un playable for a lot of the android and iPhone users. I couldn't even finish my step up after spending paid viz because of the crashes. And the devs didn't do anything to compensate or fix the issue. When the crash issue was finally fixed a month later, I had lost motivation to continue spending or playing.

Edit: Currently the game has been crashing consistantly for around 1 1/2 months and it's unplayable on most Android phones. Until this is fixed I can't in good conscious give this any higher than 1 star for the length of time this gamebreaking bug has been around with nothing from the dev team. I've been playing FF WotV for about 6 months now and I really appreciate how accessable it is if you put the time into it. After spending so much time I really feel like I've gotten a lot out of this.

Coming back after initially being disappointed on release, the game has improved in significant ways. I still think they could adjust progression to be more favorable to newer players who need to build vision cards, which the game doesnt really help with. It's also worth saying that although a new account is completely capable of clearing nightmare content after about a week, your only going to be in a good place to keep that momentum if you find a good guide.

The character art design, in-game models, and music are excellent. The battle system and unit kits are deep and balanced. Varied elements and attack types help slow powercreep. The game does a great job striking a balance between enticing spenders and rewarding player ability. Lots of units are limited time, including all the mainline FF characters, obviously set up to induce FOMO.

Rated previously high but recently I have not been able to play the game after every update it's gotten worst, and their recent emergency maintenance the game is now unplayable I'll load in only to have the game crash as soon as I do anything. I don't have an old phone I have a pretty recent model of pixel. Will change rating if they fix this soon so far it's been weeks if not months this has been an issue that's gotten worst over time. So won't go back to the origin high rating maybe three star

as much fun as it is to spend two to three months storing up resources only to have to spend down to zero several times now the rate to getting a desired unit has become increasingly difficult to achieve. I appreciate the pity option after X failed pulls but it's starting to feel far more frustrating than fun to have to do it for a third time in a row. Please throw us a bone.

Reminiscent of FF-Tactics. With a story to match. Very well executed guys!! Thank you!! Maybe not make crossover characters so difficult to obtain for those that don't want to have to pay but grind out all the work for it anyways. Still a great game, great story, and constantly evolving mechanics to keep it fresh.

Always insane coming back to this. Somehow you never run out of things to do, and generally it feels good to grind anything. Not at all stingy with pulls or characters n stuff; If you want to get / max out a character, you have a ton of resources eventually thrown at you to do so. Anniversary events especially generous. One of my first experiences with tactical grid combat, I think it's fun and the story is decent if you don't mind the strange format. It's saving me from boredom once more.

I love tactics games & I've been a player since shortly after launch. This is hands down my favorite mobile game! The characters are interestingly designed, the gameplay has a lot of variety in difficulty, and the story is fun as well! It can be a complicated game for new players to get into, but if you like tactical RPGs it's worth it! I am sad though that it feels as though it has become very pay to win in PVP settings and harder content. I hope they find a way around that!

The game story is so compelling! The characters are cool. The crossovers are exciting. But leveling up characters is the worst. The amount of grinding you have to do to get a decent team is insane. To get certain items, you have to play with lower rarity characters and level them up before you level up your URs. Overall, decent concept, but leveling up should be easier because I dont want to be stuck playing the same level 40 times for like 3 items to barely level up my character. May drop game.
