It's a lot of fun for maybe the first 3-4 days, and then the game slows down immensely. There becomes no actual gameplay that one is able to do aside from waiting for energy/photo opportunities to respawn on screen to click and then watching ads. Also since there are no additional multiplication bonuses to get once an area has been fully restored after level ~65, upgrading previous areas and any "rare" animals you might unlock for past areas via treasure chests feel completely pointless.

Cute game, LOVE IT! ❤ Problem I have, is that I use my phone stylus pen for this types of games. I'm unable to use it while moving/rotating the screen or tapping on animals to pick-up coins, hearts, & diamonds, yet I can use it while tapping to upgrade: locations, animals, & purchases, &or take pictures; etc. I hope the next update will change that? I know this may seem unnecessary but for me it's easier to use a stylus pen than your hand/indexfinger. Fix that & I'll rate it a 5 star!

After update 1.4, this is a great relaxing, idle game. The cute animals, the relaxing soundscapes, and the feeling of constant progression without having to wait weeks to get something new. Definite recommend from someone who is a veteran with idle games. Only bug I've noticed is that some of the mission reward tokens don't count (I'll go from 3, complete a mission, and stay at 3).

look, this game is fine, honestly. ads aren't in your face, but they are required to make progress sometimes, & the issue here is that i no longer have the option to watch those ads, because every time i try, the button is greyed out acting like its trying to find an ad to play, but it won't. this means i can't call the albatross without spending money, which means i am currently stuck in place as progress goes. uninstalling for the time being

A good game atmosphere that is very calming. Ads are optional which helps the mood. I especially like the option to submerge yourself in the environments which is helpful for white noise relaxing. ~ Upon further play, I had to take my review down a star as the game occasionally freezes, crashes, or has difficulty loading at times. And ads aren't as optional as I first thought. To complete some tasks you have to watch an ad to further the progress.

Cute, little, relaxing game, with quite a few features and options as well as features that give you a decent starting point. Lots of upgradable options/new animals and features, even without paying real money. A few ads need watching to advance certain features but nothing too irksome. Would be even nicer with some more realistic graphics, but I'm sure that would mean more ads to compensate, so for now, a decent little idle game. Would make 4½ ☆ if it would let me.

Good enough tycoon game with fair scaling and nice graphics, just demands too much activity as what's supposed to be an idle game: the quests that require you to collect hearts from animals don't progress unless the app is open, the cleanse nature quests take a half hour to complete because two nodes spawn every 5 minutes and you need 12, etc., but the idle parts of it are well balanced imo

A very creative and thought-out experience for sure. Genuinely relaxing, helpful with insomnia, and useful for something to do. You can tell a clear amount of work that went into this. You get to learn more about animals and the environment. You also get to collect various animals which each come with their own whitenoise. It also has its own aesthetic to it that adds to the experience.

Really good game, has some small issues. Like when printing a photo, occasionally I won't even get the picture. And at night time the northern lights kinda interfere with being able to play the game in a tolerable state. Other than that it can get glitchy and kinda unresponsive when u have more animals and parts to your island.

Too many micro transactions. The graphics are very cute but it asks you constantly to spend money non-stop which ruins the game. I don't mind that there is a shop but it's nonstop popups trying to get you to spend money. This isn't even really a game it's just an ad watching simulator which is a shame because it really does look beautiful.

While I love the idea and the design, there's too much going on at once. There's the constant flashing of exclamation points on your island that dont go away unless you buy them. The island is just cluttered with things you constantly have to click on, and the game progresses so quickly that there's just a constant stream of things you have to be doing. It looks like it's supposed to be a peaceful relaxing game, but it's really not. It's an inconvenient game that wants your money.

This game is amazing! The animals are adorable and the game play is very calming. It lessens my anxiety a lot just by playing, and I love the option to just just and listen to the sounds of nature. There isn't very much I would recommend for updates, but I wish we had the option to place the package option with the exclamation points above them elsewhere. I keep accidentally clicking them, but other than that, it's worth the download!

The game is cute, but very predatory with the microtransactions. Each individual pack only gives you one animal on average, with no other way to acquire the animals, and they can range anywhere from $5-15 *per* animal. Insanely overpriced for how little you're getting. I recommend not playing if you're prone to impulse purchasing. Otherwise it's not a bad game, if you can get past having to watch an ad every 60 seconds.

Great potential, but needs work to be actually relaxing. It's not very intuitive, can't really tell when items are rewards or costs for something. There's no manual to refer to, so if you forget tutorial stuff like apples, or can't tell what icons are what, you're on your own. Constantly have to bounce around to upkeep, constant push notifications for icons within the app, never-ending cleanup on the island and dont know how to reduce it. It's not the stress-free wind-down app I was hoping for.

Love this game. It's cozy, it's cute, I like collecting different animals. What I don't like is the game not logging me in, just sitting on the loading screen no matter what, such as updating, un-installing and re-installing, or even just letting it sit for 2 hours on that very screen to figure itself out.

Love it, but for me the game Everytime I try to get into it, it says I have to restart it and when I do it keeps popping up, I have no problem with the ads on my end, I only have to watch them when i click on a ad button. Overall a good game, it's relaxing but I wish there was a option to automatically clean up the island trash, the creatures that you have to buy annoy me because when I try to click the hearts or clean up trash it will click on that,Good game but would not recommend for children

How is this relaxing? There are constant pop-ups and flashing elements trying to get your attention. You can't just chill and go at your own pace because the entire screen is covered with buttons at all times. The gameplay itself is also not fun because it's just mindless tapping with no personal input or creativity or even strategy to it. You're basically just opening the quest menu, tapping two buttons, opening the quest menu, collecting reward, tapping two buttons for the next one. Pretty tho

Forest Island is a calming idle game where you collect currency to upgrade you island! Ads are optional, no ads pop up during your gameplay unless you want a reward; you'll watch ads for rewards only. Forest Island is good for passing the time, whether you're a college student waiting for your class to start, or just need a break at work. This game has a TON of features that you can pay real money for to boost your stats, but if course, that's optional. I highly recommend this game, it's a must!

It takes FOREVER when you have to "collect hearts" just to get 1 point towards upgrades. ALSO and this has been really annoying, there has been multiple ads lately that don't have a way to exit after they're done so I have to restart the whole app and I don't even get the thing that i was watching the ad for. I had to restart the app like 10 times in a half hour period because of this. Please fix this. EDIT - the app is Bingo Tour

Beautiful and relaxing, could be better. I feel like the photos part of things is very pointless, unless you want to move forward in the quests, the app also has a hard time reading when a photo is a certain star. Kind of finicky. Also the time should be 5 minutes for photos instead of 10. Especially when I have multiple new animals that I need to photograph. Or at least have like a photo queue or something. I don't really like that you can only move certain animals.
