I have mixed feelings. it is really fun to play. BUT it is a big "pay to play" game. PROS - very fun to play - fun story lines - really fun to decorate town CONS - expensive in-game currency and purchased items - most missions either require a lot of money to start or they require you to purchase items with money to continue a free mission - buggy, lags, scrolling stops, too sensitive to touch (accidentally selling items, starting tasks, etc) - inaccurate % for monster drop item (much lower)

Fun concept. It is definitely a pay to play type of game. I don't like the fact that some of my inventory just up and disappears. Very frustrating if you're trying to save for something in particular. The % that the monsters have to drop their "special loot" is frustratingly low, so you gotta keep spending those coins. In order to progress in the story you need their dollars which are hard to gain, and you gotta spend it on A LOT of story mission items, putting you in a stalemate frequently...

I was addicted to this game. It was great until the Valentine Event update. My game crashes as soon as it loads up. Contacted customer support and they say it's on my end. But I have the same issue as everyone else with a bad review. Brand new phone and only a small percentage of storage used, so it's not that. And we pay for great wifi so it's not my service either. I'll miss this game, but I'll find something as good!

I really liked this game and wanted to keep it but the app began to close while I'm playing. Not just once after I have been playing awhile it shuts down 5 min after I load it. It keeps closing even after I have made memory space, cleaned out my cache, closed all other apps running at same time, and made sure it's saved in internal memory not the SD card. So I must uninstall this game I cannot keep loading it every 5 min and play in between crashes.

Still has bugs. Still glitchy. Having a hard time pushing the buttons. Having difficulty with the game running properly. But it's still really fun. Still takes me back to my childhood reading goosebump books and remembering all the good stories. Do you love the updates and the seasonal quests. Thanksgiving was a really fun one. Had to start over though cuz it kept freezing on me.

LOVE this game. Took me some time to actually get around to DL it but now I'm obsessed. I just wish you could turn the House's and Structures in more directions and have an item count number next to each item in your storage, so you know what you need and what you already have!! Another MAIN ISSUE I have is sometimes when an item is finished being loaded, I get cheated out of the item and have to get more items to get the new item again because it won't show that I got it after loading.

Love the game, started playing again after about a year-long hiatus. The only issue I seem to have is how when a quest says I have to get an item from one the scare scenes, it doesn't actually register if I actually get the item. Ex. I need to get the 3 masks from the theater, but when I do, it doesn't register and I've been stuck at 1/3 for a while now.

Had this game years ago.. decided to give it another shot but now I remember why I Uninstalled it the first time. This game takes way to long for some of the tasks...And it's impossible to finish some of the quests without spending real money for cash to unlock character houses.... Everything is so damn expensive to purchase ... It's too hard to progress.

I can't stop playing it no matter what problems I see. The characters you need to further the story are ones you have to pay for... Cause if you don't the story itself is moving too fast. Can't you just .... Making each level a little harder to give the player more time? Or maybe have different levels of items in the pawn shop. That way if I don't have monster items I don't have to refresh every minutes.

The game is a fun concept, borrowed from games like the Simpsons tapped out or the Family Guy game. This one is a bit aggravating for it's ill consideration of game play. For example, the last few days I haven't been able to play the treasure dealer because for either two quests it required items that I'm unable to obtain as I have yet to unlock the areas required for those items. This issue has existed I this game across different questlines.. it appears the game would benefit from having more people play a beta version to identify these issues.

I honestly would be leaving a higher review if the game didn't crash constantly. It is hard to make money. Items I can't craft or don't have characters for are required for trade items I need to make money. I should only need to sell things I can actually obtain. Also constant active characters become invisible and are impossible to click on. Many glitches but it is very fun and I love the look of the game.

Fun but irritating. It would be a lot more fun if the cost of certain things weren't so high. I get that the game does run on in app purchases but that takes away a lot of the fun when the cost can be too high for all characters and especially getting more land for the town. The fact that we have to buy the land as we level up when it already is enough to have certain special objects is highly irritating. It would more fun to get more space as we level up the town.

Love this game, love seeing my childhood come to life. There's so much to do, so much going on that I'm constantly being kept busy when I play. My only complaint is that at times it seems to freeze/lag. Like when I'm trying to scroll through lists of things to create or do, it's like the game doesn't register my fingertips yet when it does it selects things it thinks I'm tapping on. Will give 5 stars if that can be fixed. (Its not my phone. I don't have this problem when I play other games.)

Very fun to build my own Goosebumps themed town. Love collecting all of the characters. Attention to detail in the game makes the game even more enjoyable. They need to work on keeping the game up to date and playable after special events. You'll get a new character, but won't be able to complete it's task because items needed are no longer available because it was released as a special event. Most characters don't have this issue, only a few. But still is very frustrating

Needs better storylines! 5 of the 7 quests I have available cost in game dollars to progress, and those are hard and slow to come by or you can real money, which I refuse to do. The remaining 2 quests require things that are also extremely time consuming to obtain (serenity pendant and a land expansion). I am quickly losing interest in this game.

it's quite enjoyable but as of lately it seems to be a little buggy. buildings I've already built are saying they're still in construction. I'll buy new objects and place them around town along with changing up the locations of some of the buildings and selling things I don't need anymore but once I return to the game all the buildings are back where they started, none of the objects I bought are there, and the things I sold are back where they once were before I sold them. It's getting annoying

very upset, game updated on it's own and I lost everything I was crafting including for the Black Ring challenge, it took me days to get the items from the Treasure Dealer and I had enough to make the 3 rings and expand a zone and now those items are lost! i love this game so much but now I feel like I wasted all that time. edit: I had 2 essences for the baited beast trap for a challenge, when I played the forbidden bunk scene to get the last 1 I lost the 2 I had. horrible glitch, waste of time!

The game is ok. You have to spend real money to get cash on the game to use for buying certain items to complete certain tasks. If you don't have enough of the cash on the game you can't complete new tasks when they're actually available. It gets kind of boring to just make the characters scare other people and collect off of buildings because I can't unlock new items or tasks

I am a DIEHARD fan of Goosebumps. I downloaded this knowing that the micro transactions were there but figured, could it be that bad? YES. Every fun bit is locked behind an obscene pay wall. Slappy the Dummy? PAYWALL. Basic story progression? PAYWALL. Fun? PAYWALL! New cosmetics are one thing but locking the core game away is low. The time it takes for anything to complete is plodding at best, atrocious at worst. The graphics are good, the music is okay, but it stutters often and freezes

Cool game, but biggest pitfall is that it's too easy to accidentally spend the "real" dollars that are paid for or take time to accumulate. A small mis-touch and poof, gone! Please add a confirmation box for spending dollars and I'd probably pay money again, but not with how it is now. *edited - I found the option to turn on notifications, that's what I needed! 5 stars.
