Idle Outpost: Upgrade Games

I'm now uninstalling the game. The last update on 4/30/24 broke it. The previous one introduced mandatory ads. This last one made the progression rate so slow it's unbearable. I was getting through a level in a few days, and now I'm on day 4 of this level with no meaningful progress. The update was mid-level, so it's not just a hard level. I also used 250 gems that I earned (mainly through ads) to buy an elite pet and only got a rare. NOTE TO DEVS: Revert the last update and stop being greedy.

Game was fine at first, with popups being a little annoying and ads mostly optional with rewards, but I then came to realize that almost any ad simply bricks the game and forces you to restart the app, even if you tapped on accident. In a recent update they even had the balls to added unskippable ads that show up at random. They may have rewards, but they aren't much so if they could at least be skippable at the cost of not getting the reward, then it would be fine by me.

Was enjoying the game as ads were personal choice for a boost. They weren't necessary if you were willing to sit there and manage. Recent update made it impossible to advance without ads + money.... even watching ads has been reduced to the point that it is almost worthless if you are doing it to advance.... I spent a little money on the game and would probably end up spending a little more here and there, too bad, about to be Uninstalled without a quick rollback....

It's not a bad game, the only downside I have with this game is the monetization. It's covered with it from head to toe, you could probably spend around 200 dollars plus which is crazy!!!!!!!! Not only that but when you upgrade your person with the shovel they blatantly put a pop up to purchase something when your pressing the buttons.

This game by definition is definitely an idler, I've only made it to the Third mission so I'm not sure if the game changes past this point, but it feels like a constant redo what you've already done but with a new item. That being said it's a great breath of fresh air to not be a bombarded with ads every 20/30 seconds like most idlers.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Was in the middle of playing and all the sudden the game crashes and I log back in and it restarted my entire progress. Even had my account linked and it's not logging in any data. Try to reach support and you can't. Was ranked high in the current event and close to the end of chapter 2. Really pissed off, would have actually spent money if they didn't waste my time, DONT PLAY

I'm a fan of games like this one. I used to play Eatventure a lot. This game added more aspects to it. With the loot mode and arena it just has more to do while waiting to earn the coins you need to upgrade your line. Their recent update made it too hard to progress without spending real money. I'm personally uninstalling at this point. I usually got through a higher level within 2-3 days before. Been at the same level since the update and don't see getting passed level 2-4 in less than 2 wks.

Sitting on the last level. Well they run a 3 day event I can't participate in. Not worth installing at this point. Maybe if they do some updates, it will be worth it. Also a Cash Grab, they give you tickets to skip ads, unlike most games where a one time purchase removes ads. So between their greed and their inability to do upgrades, I suggest you skip this one.

Almost good, but around world 1-7 forced ads started appearing. It was done sneaky like, only popping up when you tapped something. It took a few times to figure out that I wasn't messing up and clicking on ads. I can accept ads for rewards, like increasing income or getting coins. But not forced ads. However using both like this game does is plain greedy! Greedy worms of a company!

Dropping review to 1 star due to recent advertising change. I was truly enjoying this game. Ads were limited to personal choice and only come up when you chose to receive (temporary) upgrades. I was choosing to run 10-15 ads per day. Sometimes MAMY more. As of 4/9/24 ads are autoplaying seemingly every three minutes. This change makes the game utterly unplayable to me. It's a shame. This was a fun game.

Just completed bovine dreams game bugged out and received no rewards. I was in 20th place or higher. It stopped showing what tier I was in and just showed a gold zero. I reloaded the network at least 6 times and restarted the phone 3 times.i could watch adds and use other multi-player features but lost all progress in the event its like it didn't happen.

Overall, this is a mediocre game similar to other formats for the same style of play. However, this app could benefit from a reduction of on-screen clutter and the amount of adds. Went to fight a boss and sure enough, found my character to be "tired". This amounts to an ad-wall/pay-wall. It becomes mundane after a while and I'm sure I've wasted a gig on ad watching.

I loved this game, but even after playing it today, I just went in and realized it randomly disappeared off my phone. I reinstalled and, to my horror, it didn't save my progress. I was almost done with level three on the Octapocalypse and on level 6-5. Now? It says I never started the event and I'm on 1-6. I'm not doing it all again.

Simply put, this game is a money pit. Almost everything feels like it's locked behind a pay wall unless you waste a ton of time watching ads. Not to mention, there is no option to remove said ads. Instead they will charge you for ad vouchers, which is a one time use item to skip ads and only get a small handful per day in their weekly subscription package, which costs $9.99 per week, which I feel is outrageous despite containing a fair number of benefits.

Mechanics of Eatventure, Nobody's Adventure, and Gold and Goblins. Music is peaceful, most sound effects are ASMR satisfying, but the selling sound effect is a bit grating. The screen is crowded, with ads for upcoming events in the way of where you're supposed to click. Too many red arrows with no way to remove them except obedience (no urgency). No way to open boxes faster. Dialogue needs editing. Too many ads, and they almost always close your game and give you no rewards (only gotten worse.)

Been playing this game for a few hours now and was really enjoying it as I like the play style. I'm not a huge fan of a pay to play but just wanted to spend a little on a starter pack which I did. After the transaction went though I never got the items even after restarting the game multiple times. I tried contacting support but haven't gotten a reply or answer yet to help fix this problem to recieve the items or even get a refund back. The game was going good until that happened to me.

There's the already stated issue with the screen blacking out when you go to get rewards after watching an ad, which forces you to restart the screen. Though it doesn't happen very often. Also, I keep getting to the point where I'm waiting on developers to add more levels to travel to. So I'm kinda stuck because I can get more rewards from playing the "upgrade outpost" portion of the game. Otherwise, this game is fantastic, and I can't wait to see what else gets added to the game!
