Ingo definitely saved my a** because I had a check that needed cashing and a broken down vehicle, keeping me from going into town. I cannot fully express how relieved I am to have the ability to deposit any kind of check (in my name) to my bank account, and have the funds available within minutes, without having to pay some ridiculous fee. There is still a fee, but I believe the asking amount to be extremely reasonable. Thank you for making this app available to those of us who need it most.

Bad Experience! After installing the app, attempted to cash a check, and transfer funds to another account. I followed the instructions perfectly, only to find in the final step, my ID could not be confirmed. There was no option, to upload a driver's license or passport. Also that type of verification had not been ask for at anytime, in the entire application process. Now I am locked out of the account for no reason. Definitely would not recommend this service.

If I could leave no stars would. I got through everything it asked me but the minute I try and cash a check, suddenly there's a problem. Somehow, they don't feel the need to tell you they can verify your identity BEFORE jumping through hoops to set up an account, link an account/card, struggle with them accepting a picture of the check, etc. I can't even use the app because they couldn't verify my identity; they didn't even offer a service to try and fix the problem, just a bs apology. -100000/5

This app is totally bs signed up then tried logging in and told email and password don't match then told it could take up 2 hours to receive a email password reset. Waited tell they opened to call customers service to fix the problem. Then tried to to deposit a check in my account by taking the pictures once I followed all the steps it tells me they are unable to verify my identity and can not use InGo 🐃💩 app.

Cant even get registered!! Downloaded the app so I could deposit checks via the app by taking pictures. I signed up and they said they sent and authorization code to my email but it never got there. I tripled checked the address, info, and whatever else I could an it still has not arrived after almost a whole day. i will find another app to use.

Absolutely the worst! I downloaded the app, after being told on the PayPal app that Ingo couldn't verify my identity. (I have a verified business account through PayPal). The app doesn't allow to input my information, automatically tells me that my identity cannot be verified. After contacting support, I'm told there's no way to rectify the situation. Totally ridiculous.

Useless, not only do you have difficulty of trying to register ot log in, but all checks are basically denied. Out of 13 checks from 7 different banks only one made it through. (Bank or America) I have two friends that also tried this app with their own accounts and had the same exact issues. Oh and if it does go through they take almost 20 dollars from if, not including the other possible fees that can be charged by what ever place you wish to deposit it. That alone makes it not worth it.

Started using this app to cash checks out of convenience. worked good the first couple months, then they started charging me ridiculous fees for the money in minutes. Then I tried to cash a check from a person who writes me checks on a normal basis and they all of a sudden declined it and told me the check image was insufficient. When I contacted customer service, Brittany, had no explanation and kept repeating that I could request a different form of payment because his check image is insufficient with the previous ones - no matter how many times I retook the picture (different backgrounds, different lighting, flash on/off). I know for a fact he has sufficient funds, so I know that's not an issue. In addition, the app always gives me an error message when I open it saying my gps location is required. I ensure it's on, and still get the message. Then I have to restart my phone, go into my app permissions, turn gps off, then turn it back on, etc. SUPER INCONVENIENT. A joke for customer service, a joke for fees, a joke of an app. Done with this.

If I could rate this app 0 stars I would. I've been trying to authenticate my account by uploading a picture of both the front and back of my state id and the app crashes every time. I tried to call customer service and was on hold for 4+ hours before the call disconnected. I tried the live chat and they just keep telling me to upload thebpictures even though I tell them I can't because the app keeps crashing. This app is awful. Don't waste your time.

I downloaded the app and all seemed to be going ok I tried to deposit my first check and they denied it due to "address issues". My checks had to be replaced from whatever transpired with the app,which in turn made bills go past due. Upon calling customer service, I was not taken seriously,told it would be reconciled,only for nothing to happen. Hour long wait on hold,only to get hung up on multiple times and ZERO plausible solutions. Very dissatisfied.

Tried cashing a check with it. Went through all the steps. Took pictures of front and back as requested. Got e-mail notification that I need to send a picture of VOIDED check. I did so when I had the chance. Found out later that transaction was cancelled. Now I lost money because I voided the check! This is second time I had issues with cashing straight forward paychecks.

GARBAGE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I don't recommend this app because I spent the better part of six hours on hold, installing and reinstalling, clearing out the forms and starting over. Customer service was absolutely backwards. The last time I had such an incredibly horrible experience like this is when I was trying to get answers for my American Express account. 100% Garbage it doesn't work. At least twice I was on hold in excess of 40 minutes straight.

I haven't used this app in about 9 months because it had become so horrible and time consuming. But now it appears that the app has improved greatly and I'm glad. One tip for everyone though: before you take a picture of your check, turn off the Auto selection that your phone camera uses.

I have used this app for a couple years and it works if you have a good camera, solid black background and good lighting. My big complaint is the cost of cashing my checks. I am a "gold"member but they take between $25-$30 to cash a check when it used to be a few dollars or outright free for having that status. This is the only app my debit card allows, so I'm stuck using it. Customer service doesn't care, still costs too much while Americans are struggling to pay rent, without being taxed again

Very unreliable. I've used the app to cash checks from the same (employer) source and Suddenly for no reason my check would be refused (many times). Lots of problems with refusal of a very clear picture and I have wasted a lot time retaking photos of the check only to be refused over and over until I gave up. Fees are large. If you let them keep your money for ten days you can avoid the fee. I recently tried to cash a money order which was initially accepted but 10 days later I find that they changed their mind and didn't cash it, no reason given! Also they are supposed to charge a range of different fees for different types of checks but I've always been charged the highest amount no matter what the type of check. They are very poor at communication as well. You will never get a live person. Get yourself a bank account and forget these jokers!

I haven't even been able to use this app and it's the only one that I can use with my pay card. Every time I try to log in, it says it sent me an email with a verification code, but no email ever arrives. I check my junk folder, have them resend, nothing. Beyond unreliable, unusable. And nowhere to go for help. No contact for support, nothing.

Works like it's supposed to. Very convenient. I wanted to update my first review. Although there isn't anything wrong with it. Four years later and I would absolutely rate them 6 stars if I could! Especially in this day and age, where paper checks seem to be all but extinct, I have never ended up having a problem with them. Easy to follow directions, throw them a couple bucks if you want your money right now... But if you can wait, they won't charge you. What more could you ask for?

This service has declined my checks every single time since I randomly attempted to use it over the last 4 or so years. Upon decline the app has a pop up that says something along the lines of "check declined. This is a final decision, don't try again." It provides literally no explanation or reason as to why. I checked the FAQs and they just list off a load of obvious causes, none of which apply to me. Zero customer support whatsoever as well.

I was Leary at first but this app, this company is awesome. I had a few issues, my fault entirely, customer service was reachable in a timely manner, courteous, and professional. Problems were solved within 2 minutes. It is well worth the fee. I didn't have to drive anywhere. The bank that it was drawn on, Bank of America, gave me a hard time cashing their own check. But Ingo, cashed it hassle free. Very satisfied!

Ingo's Customer Service is phenomenal! They are understanding, respectful, knowledgeable, and fast AND you aren't stuck dealing with an automated system the whole time or on hold for hours! Literally dealt with the Automated System for about a minute. Long enough to choose language and my issue and then was immediately transferred to a real person and was only on hold for a little under a minute!! The app is easy to navigate and so far no app issues or glitches!
