Used to be great. This app was the main reason why I chose KBC over other banks. But the updates over the years have made it horrible. The animations are jarring, they don't add anything to the user experience and just make using the app slower than it should be. The new UI for transferring money is ridiculous. Not everything needs to be huge and on a separate page. The homepage is riddled with unnecessary info and ads. Which is not what you'd expect from a banking app. Also Kate is useless.

the sub app 4411 suddenly withdraw the coupling with my professional bank account without any prior notice. The day I wanted to use it, it was blocked and I had to pay via another method. You just can't rely on apps because each upgrade can cause unexpected problems unless you extensively study the release notes if these would be available user experience should be central removing an essential functionality is not user friendly

The basic banking part is ok, but there are so many extras in there, and some of them just aren't working properly. 2 examples: I can't log in with my own Joyn account for some reason. And if the app is set to English, the Kinepolis integration is automatically set to french and there's no way to change that besides changing the default language in the full app. Maybe the app should focus on it's core and integrations should actually be developed properly instead of cramming the app full of them

Working well, used to be my favourite app. Has much external integrated services connected like local parking service and ticket services. The later updates I don't like so much, for example kbc forces it's users into making the overview page the default start page when you follow the tutorial, thats not what a tutorial shout do. Also the goal alert thing is too much in precence.

Best banking app in Belgium in my opinion. Sometimes feels bloated with too many extra services and messages. The overview of expenses is really useful, but I'd like to add manual corrections. The app icon does not support the android themed icons introduced in Android 13, making it a real eyesore on my homescreen (please fix this, it's not a lot of work)

Replacing the KBC Sign button on the home screen with the dedicated goal alert button is the pinnacle of the feature creep and idiotic design choices that plague the KBC Mobile app. I do not give a damn about soccer, and if I did, I would have a separate app for that. KBC is a bank. This is a banking app. Banking should be your priority. Revert this stupid feature or at least make the Goal Alert button opt-in.

The app was an absolute simple thing to use. Until I changed phones.. since I have a new phone the app constantly closes. I click on the icon of the app and it just closes. Like it crashes or something and then I get a message on my screen: "KBC Mobile keeps stopping" and I have to choose between 'app info', 'close app' or 'send feedback' but before I can make a choice it dissapears. I'll try to uninstall en install the app again.

I like the application a lot, I use it all the time for online payments and to check my credit. There is one thing I mis and I think would help a lot of people. I think it would be nice to get notifications on the end of the day or with every payment you make without the app. This would give a clear overview for people to see if someone used theire card or if you lost it. It would show a lot of people how much they spend on things and keep track of your balance a lot easier. This is something I saw other countries had and was actually very interesting. Such as how much you spent when you were abroad or on vacation.

Very helpful app. There has been quite some positive improvements to the app, now many more services are integrated, the app provides insights on monthly expenditures etc. I also like the fact that money can be retransfered from the credit card to the main account, something which is not possible on KBC touch. Also the digital signature is a great plus.

The app is the best banking app and works perfectly with scanning the payments in. But one super annoying feature since the last update is the forced use of the dashboard. And there is no option to switch it off, or personalise what you want to see and how. My most favourite accounts are all of them and by selecting them all I basically see only a few at once while under my accounts I can see them way better. I'm an IT'er myself and new features are important. But give a choice to a user!!!

I'm very happy with the overall service of KBC, but this app in particular is giving me anxiety. Everyday is a gamble wether it will work or not. From working perfectly one moment to completely frozen the second. Don't mind deleting and reinstalling, because the screen stays frozen. I've reached out to customer service a week ago, but still no answer. The app almost never works which is starting to become a huge problem for someone constantly using mobile banking. At least wanting to.

The app is great, except this new 'Overview' tab which just isn't useful for me. It may look fancy, but it's not functional. Finding the info I need is faster on the original (Betalen) tab. So please, stop trying to push that Overview tab down our throat. It's getting to a point where it's interfering with an otherwise great experience.

Used to be great, now I can't access it anymore because the developers have deemed rooted phones to be unsafe. I'd be ok with just a pop-up every time I boot it saying it might be a security risk, but locking you out completely? Not OK edit: automating a 'please call support' makes it even worse. Just don't block people out who require root privileges. It's that simple. The support line just says 'Oh it's unsafe, get lost', so don't bother.

Good app, working as intended but missing some key features such as on-demand screens instead of the suggested overviews.. It will randomly tell me that I spent more on groceries this past month than usual but I can't just get the "amount spent on groceries" on demand without the suggestion. Biggest missing feature is a nice graph of my balance, I'd like to be able to determine if over the course of the last 2 months, I gained or lost money overal...

The new additions to the app are very annoying. The previous funds transfer page was perfect. All details related to the transfer was in one page. Also the reference code was automatically filled in if transferring to a saved beneficiary. This is not the case anymore. The new transfer screen is a set of pages. When typing the amount, the text field gets unselected after each character. The reference code is no longer automatically filled in. Please change it back to the old transfer page.

In the past really good app. Since the last month's it is not any more. It becomes more a commercial app then a banking app. All the offers should have an option to be turned off the dashboard same with the feedback messages. The goal alert is as far as I know something nobody relates to a bank why remove a key shortcut??? Please make it configuration to add it back. The app does what is needs to do but the UX is going in a total incorrect way...

This banking app has been one of the more user friendly ones I've used, but recently it has become jarred with all kinds of unnecessary options... the most recent 'addition' includes a score tracker for the national football league on the main screen... if I want to see the scores... please, stick to banking, if I want to see sports scores, I'll get the appropriate app for that... or at the very least make these "functions" optional instead of sticking them to your main menu...

App was een paar jaar geleden zeer goed. Maar ondertussen werden veel nutteloze functies toegevoegd die in de weg staan (kate coins bijvoorbeeld) Edited to respond to kbc: I dont need any adjustment. The app seriously deteriorated, and I dont seem to be the only one, as quite a few recent reviews share the exact same opinion. Give people an easy way to remove all the useless non-banking related bells and whistles. I signed up for banking..

Another update and instead of a cleaner interface, even more junk on the start screen. My girlfriend even started complaining and normally she just flows with it. Showed her how to remove everything and most importantly, turn off "additional convenience" under the privacy settings. Stop adding ridiculous stuff, stop forcing Kate coins. This is a banking app. Should look clean and professional.
