You can only get up to a certain point before you have to buy the DLC to truly get into the meat&bones of the game. The DLC isn't expensive, however, as soon as I bought it, it basically broke my game. The job listing for the Mellows doesn't register when a mellow dies, so you're stuck thinking you have five mellows on a task when you really only have two. Not to mention the under-developed 'herding' system. This game was truly just a cash-grab.

This game can be really fun at first, but the fun is stifled when it wants you to pay to progress further. You can still play as long as your little village survives, but to create higher level things like blacksmiths, animal pens, and things like that, you have to pay to unlock that feature. I've also been having some issues with the crop farms not resetting from the harvesting stage after the winter, and the Mellows not giving birth after being pregnant for several years.

The game is fun and has potential, but the experience is horrible. It's glitchy, no tutorial in game (links to youtube videos), and you can't access more than half the game unless you buy dlc and/or other bundles. I had the game for four days and restarted five times, at least, each with a different glitch happening. I also kept losing mellows because they were unhappy, but couldn't prevent it because all the ways to do that were pay walled.

I paid for the DLC (even though I find it completely ridiculous to lock essential gameplay behind a paywall) and although some things work, the mellows bug out and will get stuck, incorrectly assess if they have resources, and there's no way to assign specific mellows to certain jobs. You have my money anyway now, but please fix these bugs and improve the functionality of the game and it might have been worth it. Edit: The game is beyond buggy. To play at all you have to constantly reload.

This game has a lot of potential. But a few bugs you notice quite quickly. The mellows will stay pregnant if you don't take them out of their jobs. It's very frustrating to do so though because you can't pick who is assigned to what job so If you had that choice it could be much better. There's a glitch that when you take a mellow out of their job they keep doing it but without their tools. Tools run out too fast, only one mellow make them at a time. No save slots so I lose progress often.

I really really like this game (once I finally got the hang of it) and want to play for HOURS.. the big problem Is when the game freezes, crashes, then loses all of your world's progression. This has happened twice for me now after getting so far with my village just for the game to crash out and start me all the way back to square one. There needs to be some type of saving (automatic, manual or BOTH). Unless it's not showing up for me or I'm missing it? Glitch maybe?

The concept and structure of this game is good, but there is a lot of disconnect between communication and function. For example, if I am notified of a sick mellow, I should be able to click on them which links to a solution that eliminates the sickness. Instead I have to guess that making a potion will eliminate the sickness. Also, some functions are vague - for instance, if you make a medium potion, how many mellows and what illness does it treat? This may lead to frustration and deletion.

it was almost the perfect game especially on the cute part. I like the cute style with also the realistic part as most games dont add death. it's good..except that you gotta pay money for the dlc to play more of the game. and that you can't prioritize different buildings to be built and things to be crafted because right now I am having the issue that they wont build the tools I need fast enough before they run out and certain buildings wont build, that's it, I'll return after those are fixed :)

Bummed I spent $$, pretty buggy and when I went to purchase the DLC it took me to a different product and I didn't really get anything of value to me (my bad for not double checking but I thought when I'd click "buy DLC" it'd take me to the DLC :/). Cute and fun game overall, but it feels like it's missing a lot of content and generally needs improvement.

I like this game. It is fun and a bit challenging at times, but there are a lot of things that need to be fixed about it as well. Certain aspects freeze/glitch a lot, and there is no way to fix it except deleting a building. A feature needs to be added so we can assign/unassign a specific mellow. When a mellow is clicked on, we should be able to assign it from there and manipulate it in that menu. There is a lot more, but I am out of room. Again, I enjoy this game, it just needs reworked.

I played through for a few days, and here's my take: Pros: Once you learn, it's pretty fun. - Challenging but in a fun way - Easy to get tickets for upgrades so you don't have to buy those. Cons: If you go on for too long without exing out to save the game, it will crash, and you'll lose the last 5ish minutes of progress. Lack of tutorials makes it a smidge difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, you're good. Really just needs to have the bugs fixed.

I really love this game, I've been playing it for a while. I did buy some of the dlc, but that's because I play it so often. You don't need to but things to play successfully. It's mostly just a chill game tbh. I do wish there was a bigger version of it... like for pc or something. Ps, it is a little buggy. The ads aren't playing right now. It crashes sometimes, and mellows often get sick and won't get better unless I restart the game. There's another, but I'm out of characters.

Basically "Banished" with ads, except tools and food disappear even faster. While I appreciate the absence of a hyperanimated tutorial that doesn't actually teach me anything, the lack of any initial instruction was frustrating. At the very least, just a static "How to Play" page that players can scroll down, illustrating the basics of assigning villagers and resource strategies, instead of relying solely on video links buried in the menus. Frankly, the music was about all I found "mellow."

The game is nice but it has major glitches, sometimes, my people freeze up like get frozen waiting for their partner, when they can't move and eventually I just need to get a new mellow because they are permanently stuck there no matter what. There are also other things like not being able to move houses, not being able to have a mellow target something, and leaving the game for only a few seconds can cause for your game to reset and you lose around 10 minutes of progress. And the list goes on.

Great concept but very buggy. My screen ends up all blue where I can't see my land at all. The people don't do what they're told but can't be moved to a different job. Update 2 years later and same issues I mentioned before plus some I didn't mention. The game stops saving progress and if you play for to long, exit then go back to the game it'll be at least 5 seasons of progress lost VERY aggravating. So mad I wasted money on this game. Could be an awesome game..

I would have given this game a 5 star rating, but most of the issues are resolved except for a few of them. I am glad the game is no longer lagging or the music suddenly stops. Now, there is another situation. When I need to watch an ad to increase storage space for any building, an ad pops up when you click out of the ad, and the game shuts down entirely. It happens every time I re-download it. It also sucks when I can't watch an ad at all to get more players. Great game, but could be better.

Constant crashes that take your game time entire SEASONS back in your progress. I'd play for multiple seasons, and it would crash, and when reopened, would be seasons back like you never wasted an hour or more progressing. FIX THE GLITCHES, and it will be a fantastic game! Also, this is a year update. I bought the DLC when I first downloaded it; maybe that's the problem, I don't know. But it's incredibly irritating.
