It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate.
Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

Very easy to use on the road. Unlike other ELD companion apps, this one feels like it was designed with input from actual truckers. If I'd found this app before, I'd have given up paper logs long ago, even without the ELD mandate. Update mid-2019: app and ELD (AOBRD mode) are solid. But tell your dispatcher to turn down the IFTA upgrade. Drivers can't edit fuel entries, and even worse, deleting doesn't delete from the admin side, resulting in dups. You will be out of IFTA compliance!

Less than one star! App constantly locks you in drive / in motion mode, and does not allow you to have access to change. It constantly freezes and does not keep accurate logs. App currently has me in PC off duty for the last 53hrs. It will not allow me to access anything to correct it. 3rd time this week. In motion support has been contacted everytime. Clearly they can't even fix it? Use a different ELD. I'm proposing that to my company as well. Very dissatisfied!!!!!

I've recently had to change to this app again from Big Roads ELD. There are a few functions that KeepTruckin doesn't have. Functions as being able to edit drive time to off duty PC or yard move if you forget to pre select those statuses. Also, Big Roads has adverse conditions and emergency movement as selectable in the menu for options which adjusted the clocks accordingly... some simple changes would greatly improve the usability of this app... having Google maps as an option would be great too

I never had these type of problems with this product before. But this app NO longer has a drive button for editing and sometimes when going off duty after a drive event, the entire event is them move to the drive line. Also when trying to connect to the truck initially. I experienced a download that took several hour and NEVER allowed me to connect. So then I up a NEW account. After this occurred the SYSTEM UI (a hidden application running in android MARSHMELLOW Or higher) became corrupted.

Why must you feel that changes always need to be made. Really dislike the latest change in manual status. Nothing wrong with the way it was, leave it alone, this update looks so juvenile. A while ago you changed the pre/post trip. It was very user friendly, pre-populating mileage that was already recorded. But NO, someone had to change it, now we must enter the mileage once again. Do the people making these changes actually go in the field to test it out, or are these changes just to prove thei

This is my first electronic log, after 32 years of paper logs I was apprehensive about it. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to learn and use. I highly recommend it for first time users. The safety part of the dash cam is at best a total POS. it listed me as a violation when directed by road crew to continue through a work area, with a stop sign present. This part of the app does not have the technology to be accurate in a real world environment, YET! Still the best Avalable.

Keeptruckin has really gone downhill since I first started using them. They've made some improvements with their app that have improved driver convenience, but the quality of their actual ELD device that you install in your truck is poor. Constant connectivity issues and seems like it needs to be replaced every two years at least. At least before when I would call customer support I could get a person right away, but now I get a long list of voice prompts.

I have one major complaint and it is that this app needs to be optimized better for battery usage. In time, this app is going to destroy my battery due to how hot it makes it. Whether I'm driving or not, the phone will remain super hot unless I "force close" the app when I arrive at a truck stop. This is not good for the one device drivers use most, our phone. Secondly, I wished the app was more new user friendly. For example, showing tips on certain things you can do for certain scenarios.

Update: Still not my favorite, even after 2 years using it. Split sleeper was finally updated. Don't know why there's 2 different duty clocks. Even after a 7 hr sleeper berth period, it shows red drive lines as a violation unless I complete the other required break. This is unnecessary. It almost seems like a "just in case" violation. Just show me how many hrs I have left, and go from there. Dumbest implementation ever. I don't need to bounce back and forth between 2 different duty clocks..

This eld is horrible. It will get you in trouble with DOT. It doesn't change status to driving so when I get to my destination, I find out that it's been on off-duty the entire time even though the screen showed driving. Then the screen freezes so I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. It is so annoying and will definitely get you shut down by DOT. Stay away from it. Get another eld company.

Very sluggish. Press on a key (button) and it acts like it is locked up, but it's just being stupidly slow to respond. Pops up with erroneous trucks to log into after you've logged out of them. I wouldn't recommend this software. It was bad before the February update now it's even worse. Trying to connect to Bluetooth is always an adventure in the morning. I hate this software but I'm forced to use it.

3 stars for frustrating mediocrity. UI is generally good, performance is not. Fails to reconnect to the ELD all the time, even when connected directly with USB. How does it fail to find a connection that is physically there at all times? It boggles the mind. On bluetooth it's much worse and absolutely infuriating; my $40 blutooth stereo is much more reliable. It's also slow, often taking a full second to respond to a basic screen press when every other app on the same device runs right.

Not a good app. We've had multiple issues with it being incredibly slow or just not working at all. Half the time when you try to upload a document, it won't let you select the document type after you take the picture, which of course means you can't upload the document. Other times, it will randomly disconnect the driver from the vehicle and you have to restart the tablet to get the app to work. Even when just trying to go between screens (Home, Logs, Notes, Documents, etc), it takes forever.

When I go to review my safety issues, it pops up on my screen for 1 second and screen goes blank for a few seconds then popos back up for 1 second. Over and over again. Also about once a day the screen freezes. I have to close the app to get it to work again. This app has been pluaged with bugs. Every time a bug is fixed, another one arises. It is very annoying. Please fix all bugs. It

Stupid app is always disconnecting from the truck when my screen turns off, even though I have all permissions enabled, and set to never put the app to sleep. Keeps saying my time is wrong, when it's correct. It will disconnect and fail to reconnect, and requires me to pull over on the shoulder of the road and pull the brakes before it will reconnect. It also logs me out every time dispatch is changing something and my password gets reset. Always issues, multiple times a day.

Very easy to use with or without ELD. Quick to change status, forms are easy to fill out, print and email options work well. Edit 5/14/22 It would be nice if the app tells you when an update is available. Right now I have to go to GooglePlayStore to check. The way I usually know that I need to update is because the bluetooth connection to ELD is getting buggy.

Well I hate the home page on the app. I rather have it like it was so the log book comes up as in the past. Anything else access from the side. I'm enjoying the use of the app. I got a level 3 DOT Inspection in limon, Co wed. And the fax came across in a timely manner and the officer was very happy with the recap all on it. No issues. would like to receive an alert when I hit an hour, 1/2 hour, and 15 minutes before my time for the day and driving is up. Not able to pick more than 1.

Motive should email us our logs monthly or quarterly. Instead of us having to do it OLD: break, fuel, un/loading should be on the screen when OD, Off, sleeper are clicked. Without having to type. OLD: Found dark mode. It's on the drive screen, bottom right. But it doesn't apply to the rest of the screens. Also there are 2 settings for split sleeper. 2nd one also on drive screen. Adjustments to the app on the drive screen are a huge fail. Think about that, have to be driving to change settings.

I hate this app with a passion. They're constantly making changes, and RARELY do they make anything better. The menu buttons constantly jump around, its only capable of finding my location about half the time, its very slow, and it now has the memory of a goldfish. Please pick a method of navigation and stick with it. Every time I finally get used to this garbage, you change it completely. The poleople that are forced to use this app don't have time to go back and forth over-and-over. UNRELIABLE

My biggest problem with the app is there is nowhere for me to make a comment on any of the events. They're counting speeding against my safety score, but their using outdated gps tags, like seriously!!! If they weren't so bad, my safety score would be at least a 98, instead of 94! Then there's the event counted against me, when some a hole cut me off, slammed on the breaks, and I had to change lanes to keep from running him over! No that's not an unsafe lane change on my part, it's on theirs!
