This bank is only getting worse. I enjoyed it for a while, the pockets feature was cool, the credit builder card was great, and the interest rates were great. Now they've removed or kneecapped all those features. Who knows what's next. Also the new app design is horrendous and makes it harder to know where my money is and how much I have. I used to recommend this bank to my friends, now I recommend you look elsewhere, I know I am.

1 step forward, 2 steps back. The last version of the app had ok UI, a little cluttered, but it worked just fine. This "new" version is more streamlined, but only when I can actually log-in. It seems like every other time I try to get my balance, (because the ONE widget is no longer to be found, -2 points for inconvenience) I get an error of some kind. Either there's no text message with 1 time code or the app just rejects my password. I have no serious complaints with ONE banks. Fix the app!

Major step backwards in terms of the UI on the latest update. Not a fan. Recent annoyance. Transferring funds between pockets doesn't default the "from" pocket to the one you're in when you initiate the xfer. It's defaults to my savings, so I have to remember to change that before the xfer otherwise I have to then go and move money twice. Yes, I should double check, but this is an easy convenient fix that I'm certain hasn't always behaved this way

Like many, I came from Simple. So far I like the similarities ONE has when it comes to budgeting and user-friendly accommodation. I did have a little issue with notifications, but I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it seems to be working now (Android User). A couple of things to request to make this the next top tier in mobile financing: 1. Dark Mode (Many people mentioned this, but I'll be another one) 2. Widget for Home screen - It would be great for a quick view of balances for your account. Because you have more than one option for accounts, it would also be great to have a customizable setting for default views of either SPEND, SAVINGS, or Specialized pockets. 3. 4-digit MOBILE pin login instead of Password/email login. This is faster than entering both the email and password, and can be offered as an alternate security login for users. 4. Please change the account values from Total Cash to SPEND for the main balance shown. It can be confusing when looking at the Total Cash front and center when it's containing values from Savings and other pockets. Those are separate from spend and therefore shouldn't count as available to spend. I haven't set up my direct deposit as of now, but when I do, I'll do an update on my final review. I know this is all fairly new, but I do hope my requests are taken into consideration. Thank you!

When I started using ONE, its main draw was the pocket system and the ability to switch the debit card to whatever pocket I wished. Now, not only is that gone, but so is autosave and half of what made ONE different from any other bank. On top of all this, the UI has changed from something slightly restrictive but serviceable to completely oversimplified and difficult to navigate. At this point, the only reason I have to keep using ONE is the fact that pockets can still be shared with others.

Switched over several months ago and LOVED One! Just about everything was perfect and I felt on top of the world taking charge of my finances, being so responsible. This latest update sucks. 🙃 It's not even an update, literally nothing is improving. Honestly, it's just a downgrade. 👎🏼 Assigning the card to a specific pocket was everything to me, to help me keep my budgets. Now they've removed that feature (and others) which will make it so much more of a hassle to stay on track.

When one started some things were missing like mobile check deposit, a way to send a one time check, etc. They got better and added features all the time. Then Walmart purchased them and they have regressed significantly, removing features they added, removing features they started with, lowering rates, and generally making things worse. The app is also more unreliable then ever. Stay away.

This used to be a good bank, but not anymore. Ever since Walmart acquired them. When you transfer, it states the obvious by telling you it transferred successfully and you can't do anything I'm the app for a solid 5 seconds. The app text isn't small and neat anymore and discreet. It's big, it's clunky, and ugly. The beautiful colors and ability to make pockets is completely gone. They now are charging different fees. It used to be completely fee free. This app sucks. This bank sucks.

Overall I like the app but I have problems logging in almost every single time. No matter what time of day it is, I ALWAYS get a message that there was a error and to try in a few moments. Sometimes it ends up taking me over 2 hours to log in. I try with both my email and phone number. But once I'm logged in everything runs smoothly for the most part

I love One and do overall like this app, but I have to rate 3 stars because it tells me my full balance between checking AND savings accounts...NOOO!! I spend into my savings EVERYTIME because of this, lol. You guys are the only banking app I've seen do it this way and it's the worst for savings in my opinion and should be changed. You can add all my saving accounts together, sure....but don't add them in with my checking account. It makes it very hard to actually save.

Dont be mislead, there is no 'instant transfer' option. Its 1 to 3 business days. Unless you want to withdraw cash but it seems more complicated than casting a spell in Wiccan. L Update: well, the transfers aren't instant, but overnight is pretty close enough. And it was my employer w the shady wording. The app works really well and gives you alot of saving options. User interface might have gotten worse since the last update, but thats pretty much every popular app these days. Would recommend!

Wasn't going to review but the app has become terrible. Stays stuck on loading upon opening the app. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times but doesn't fix. All of this started since the latest update. Nothing more disappointing than not being able to check your checking and savings. Not to mention being scammed recently and the dispute being closed within a day after an unauthorized withdrawal and obviously was not in my favor. No number to call, only a "chat". Going back to a bank.

The new redesign is ok. It takes a few too many taps to get from the front page to being able to view debit/savings and actually do the things the app was built to do. I hate it when big UI updates are rolled out unexpectedly and it's especially jarring when it's something as personal and vital as banking. It makes me fear that policy changes will also be made very suddenly.

Thank you ONE for making banking "simple." I was tired of paying fees by big and classic banks, and you have changed the way I bank forever. I have been a customer since 2021 when ONE first began, and I am continuously amazed by the fantastic upgrades and features made. The mobile app is not only simple, but, easy to navigate and use for everyday banking. The improvements have been nice, and customer care has been amazing as well. ONE is the best! 😁

it has a few features lacking that other apps like cash app or PayPal have (better rewards, stock and crypto options) but for an online banking app, it offers exactly what you would need and expect ; savings with interest, direct deposit, money transfers, fee free cash load locations, direct deposit, and then some more! I haven't had any issues other than the program not accepting my phone number or being able to update my old number to my new one. so I have to use only email address logging in

Everything on the app works most of the time. They have a lot of convenience. Don't run into any trouble tho because the human customer service isn't English speaking and it's pretty obvious. They see a word you type rather than the context and send irrelevant links. They have no idea. I tried to have a card sent to me because the app links to do that do not work. I talked to 4 different CS agents. They all said different things and I still have not heard about a solution.

The app experience has degraded a lot over the past few years. Stuff like account numbers are harder to find, new features are "announced" months before they're available, 3/4 of the homescreen is filled with useless information, and they send notifications about cashback programs with no way to turn them off. Overall, kinda meh. I miss Simple bank. Just make your app like theirs was

Greatest prepaid card application you could use. Easy to navigate. No glitches or freezing. Security features for your card. Just an all around easy app to use . Great savings features of different types. If you need to transfer money from your savings into your debit, it's instant and easy to do so. Also allows different cash back options. It's the best banking app for prepaid cards. I 100+% recommend this application for the ONE card. It's an absolute must for this card!!

10 out 10 would recommend this app. This app is perfect if you have no other debit or credit cards. All you really need is this. It's Mobil* Banking. This bank has an in real life bank under a different name to hold the money. You can check all the benefits listed. I checked green boxes when reading the benefits list. It is a good app that Does has listed.

3rd edit. I haven't gave up on One yet. The pocket system is great, I still miss the virtual cards that use to be available for Pockets but I get to keep my Pockets, and I love those. I didn't go back to a 5 yet, but back up to a 4 from a 1 as I was enjoying the One to One feature which is now gone for some reason, but I get 5% APR on all accounts. One is a great app to help manage finances. I love the pockets with their own account numbers, early deposit, and the features they are working on.
