The previous version worked very well. This version freezes up. I cannot adjust any percentage for auto pay, nor can I retrieve my money that was saved out of a previous check. Customer service is dry, and robot like. It's my money and I cannot control easily like before. Will be doing direct deposit in my regular bank. This app is too much of a hassle

Good app for what it does, but it keeps disconnecting from my bank account at least one a month and showing nonsensically high amounts of money available. I can't trust this app to accurately keep track of my money, and end up using my bank's own app instead. Additionally, the support section should not be used to post notifications, it's very confusing and irritating.

To anyone experiencing issues with the Even app loading properly, try this: Clear the app's cache in (Android's) Settings, uninstall the app, and then reinstall the app. For my particular issue, it seems to have worked for me. Regardless, developers should look into the matter of why the app not loading properly seems to happen frequently enough at all.

Quit refreshing after update. Since the update that installed the week of February 7th, the app has not been refreshing or loading correctly. It has been inaccurate as far as what's in my account, what hours I work as a Walmart associate, and what I need to hold back. I think the tax savings update is causing more problems than fixing them, unfortunately. I spoke with customer service, and they told me my experience is the normal operation of the app, but it absolutely has changed. Not useful.

The app is great it's nice to be able to take out some of your paycheck when you need it or to have it set up to give half your check every week. But what really hurts the app is the December shut down especially for someone like me that relys heavily on the weekly paycheck now I'm struggling to keep up with any of my subscriptions to apps and to pay any bills or buy groceries. I just don't think the reason given for shutting down the feature is a suitable reason especially around Christmas.

Can't even sign in. I go through the BS text message codes, and I get yet another "verification," this time in email form. My first gripe is how many verification steps there are when previously, you could sign in with your work account. My second gripe is that when I go to the email it sends me, it gives me a link, so when I follow it, it does not finish this redundant verification, it gives me another code. It then tells me to go back to the app to enter it, but nothing happens on the app.

The app itself works wonderfully, but unless you pay all your bills from one account it won't track it properly, even if the account used to pay is also linked. It also doesn't integrate well with credit cards, unless you just want to look at recent transactions. If these were fixed I would give it 5 stars, as the bill tracker is by far the best I have been able to find outside of the issue stated earlier.

The previous "Even" version worked fine. I knew I wouldn't like the update so I deliberately avoided installing when prompted. Then today I find it automatically changed. This new version with the black color scheme is annoying to use. There is also too much going on in the app. I wish companies wouldn't change things that aren't broken just for the sake of "progress". I am considering deleting the app altogether.

I got the app when I was working for Wal-Mart and kept it after I left. It works when it works. Once again, they update it and it quits working. I shouldn't have to reinstall this blasted app every time it gets updated for it to work. This is the second time an update has caused the app to stop loading. NOT HAPPY right now! Reinstalling did NOT help! Update: 8/21/19 apparently, they fixed the issue because it works once again. Because this seems to happen with every major update, leaving at 4⭐

Really love this app!!! It's very helpful and and easy to use and navigate!! Has many options and tips! Love being able to get an advance should I need it! Like how you can set up to save money and budget your bills. Only issue is eventhough my accounts have been verified, it still says that something went wrong when I try to enable my even savings and I'm currently not able to use the savings tool.

I really like this app. It shows how many hours I worked and money made per work period. I have it linked to my bank so I can see how much money I have left (slight delay sometimes) and the purchases made. You have the option to mark things as bills, and you can set money aside to help you save. And there's an option for weekly pay and insta pay for emergencies!

Really not liking the user interface. It has brought on confusion and money being sent to wrong places and long wait times for money I needed. The default option being one needs to not be default while other options are hidden by scrolling to the right. Needs to be a better way of displaying this. Also transferring funds such as one to direct deposit being 3-5 days needs to be clearly displayed so confusion doesn't happen. When it comes to dealing with money this has to be better.

I was under the impression that as a Walmart employee, I would automatically have the Even Plus services for free. Yet it still wants to charge me to upgrade to Plus so I can get my instapay. First month is free so I got what I needed as I needed. Unless I am mistaken in what was included. No hate, I actually like the app. Edit: So I did just misunderstand, still a great, helpful app.

It's useful when it works. I never used it to get my money early but before Walmart instated core hours i used it to track my earnings on the daily basis. It's useful for that. I'm giving it two stars because TWICE in the span of having this app, it suddenly just lost connection to my bank (capital one) for MONTHS at a time, rendering the budgeting aspect of it completely useless. Do not think I'll be redownloading.

The color scheme has changed to a "dark theme" and there's no options to change it back to a "light theme". It's difficult for me to read light writing on dark backgrounds so this is extremely frustrating and not very accessible. Another change is that the new UI is so much more complicated than before! Now there are so much more busy designs/buttons on the front page and I have to really search to view my schedule. The app use to look so clean and simple, and was easy to use. Not anymore.

This is a fail when you compare it to the millions of other FREE options. Only allows you to add One bank account and it doesn't actually allow you to pay, it just shows you how much money is in your account and allows you to create a budget and/or Bill planning but not actually pay the bills. If you're looking for a really good free app with tons of different options try Moven, it's a free bank account and debit card that allows you to attach tons of accounts, cards all your bills and of course actually pay them. Bonus : allows you to transfer between accounts and cash out to different bank accounst and it's all free.

Removing instant pay for other banks is absolute b*******. At least keep it and have a small fee. The last thing I want to do I sign up to another account that I have to manage. This is a benefit via my work and instant pay should be free and available to my bank! The new name and look of the app is stupid in my opinion. I liked it better when it was called Even and the app interface was better.

My wife tried to transfer money from her next paycheck directly to her bank account. Instead they tried to issue her a debit card saying she has to wait 7-10 business days to access it. Then, after using the useless customer support option, they repeatedly said they can't move the money back and cancel the card. She never signed up for the card, they automatically sent it after trying a transfer. Don't use this app unless you want a similar experience.

I WAS loving the app. It's easy to use, convenient, and helpful. However, January 25th, right after the last update, it shows my daily pay as $2 LESS than what I was making, and hasn't yet updated to the 2% raise amount, either, so my instapays (that I rely on, unfortunately, to pay bills) are less than they should be. I'll change my rating when this is fixed.

Latest update auto-selects One Finance as the destination for your insta pay, with other options hidden behind an extra menu that's super hard to miss. It feels like a pretty scummy way to make people use or create a One Finance debit account and given the very much known issues with One Finance, almost like they're trying to trick people into it. They're not even actually reading reviews, just apologizing without actually reading people's complaints.
