More About Pie Launcher

Tap and hold to open the pie menu. Then swipe to choose an app to start.
Or just tap and type the name of an app you don't use frequently.

Long press an app in the listing of apps to enter the editor for the pie menu. Use 4, 6 or 8 icons in the pie menu to make the most out of it.

Once you get used to it, you can launch your most frequently used apps using muscle memory without even looking.

Apps you don't use regularly are quickly available with just one tap and by typing the first one or two letters of the app name.

i think this launcher has TONS of potential and im dying to use it over nova launcher. but it's missing 3 things that prevent me from doing that. 1. You can't customize the app drawer and make apps invisible. 2. no folders. 3. no gesture for pulling down the notification bar without reaching up to the top screen. fix these short comings and i would rock this every day and be pie launcher's #1 soldier.

I just got this app, I like the concept. But it would be nice to be able to change the home page icons and add folders and also to be able to show notifications. Please allow for widgets and notifications, folders, and change of Icons. This app is very cool.

Great launcher, very clean. Not having icons on my home screen stops me from procrastinating. But when launching an app from Pie Launcher it always goes to the "home" screen of the app, closing the mail I was typing (when I switched to check something) or exiting the note I was typing and losing changes. It can be avoided by using app switch instead of going home and using Pie Launcher but it's too risky to lose changes on a swipe. If it could instead switch to the open app's current state 5⭐

Works great. Can see all of my wallpaper. Finally. What we need is multiple screens, each with its own launcher, to make a different configuration of apps for each screen. I have to have a LOT of apps on hand that I use regularly. 20+ and in different categories. Got mine copy from Fdroid. Thanks

A very nice launcher, but there was user error. I installed this launcher looking for a more simplistic layout, but I proceeded to smoke the devils lettuce after the installation. I was doom scrolling on TikTok and decided to jump out of the loop. When touching home, I was greeted with no buttons, applications, or icons of any kind. I proceeded to stare at my screen, waiting for it to load, which to me felt as if it was only 10 seconds, but I actually stared at it for over 5 minutes. 10/10.

Edit: We have now! Loving this launcher so much!!! 🎉🎉😁 We need icon packs and the ability to choose the icon from a certain icon pack if a app doesn't have a customized icon from that icon pack. I feel overwhelmed with the normal icons I prefer minimalist ones. I really like this launcher! It's pretty awesome! I use it more when using gray scale

Pretty good. My only complaint would be that I wish I could use my weather widget. Or widgets in general. Along with having a home row at the bottom as an option. And Long holding the screen to edit the wheel/(open widgets) rather than having to pretend to add another app to the wheel and then canceling it

I love the idea and it has a lot of potential, however the app is still quite buggy especially when selecting which app to include into the carousel. It is great that you can see your wallpaper unobstructed by app icons. It would be nice to include a folder option into the carousel which opens as a separate carousel.

it's perfect. and addicting actually. after a couple days, i couldn't use any other launcher. i wish there was webapp support tho. they would probably work on chrome since you install them, but not on firefox. they just get added to some void. monet icons would be cool too, but i haven't seen em in any other launcher so i don't know if it's possible

Lacks Customization options. I like the idea but would rather be able to choose a larger circle of apps and their size. I see many users like this just as it is, it's just not for me as I use a larger number of apps regularly and I like grouping my own apps. If I could, say, group my apps and keep folders in the circle I believe I'd love it.

I was honestly intending to just test this launcher out but it's now been a week or so that I've been maining it. It has replaced Niagara Launcher for me as my favorite minimal launcher. My only learning curve is I occasionally forget what my launcher is now and I'll stare at my home screen, waiting for icons to load.. and they never will. 10/10 launcher.

I was searching for a simple launcher and came across it on Youtube. I gave it a try and it's just the best. Personally for me, it's better than all others such as Alpha Launcher, Aris Launcher, Niagara Launcher or Computer Launcher. I wonder why it is very low rated! Hey Developers, do me a favour, try to add some more gestures such as swipe up for different cirlce of apps, swipe down for another different cirlce of app and same thing with swipe right and down(for diagonal also).

Too many times where the pie launcher and apps wouldn't pop up. Multiple times a day.

Gave 5 star because this is such an awesome app. Everyone has alot of good ideas. I would really like an app folder option inside, because even though being able to get to my apps quickly with the search option is awesome, sometimes i wanna scroll through the apps and select it. If i had the option i would turn the keyboard popping up automatically off as well, because i never use it, even though its great. Someone also said widgets. I also had the orientation issue. Thanks for the awesome app!

It takes some getting used to. By default the app drawer opens with the home button, but you can change this. The settings are hard to find at first, and their position will change if you change some of the behavior settings. Still no widgets. However, a lot of the things that other reviews said were missing are working for me. For instance, there's a setting for the screen orientation. There's only one circle, so choose carefully what apps you put on it. (I would say 10 at most for ease of use.)

absolutely changes the way I use phones, hard to go back to traditional launchers. I really wish you could use material you icons though and a better app drawer UI. 5/5 UX, 2/5 UI

I really love the idea of this app. It's fresh and different... Until you realise there's still an app drawer which you can't disable completely. I would also like to be able to change the icon for the app drawer in the pie menu so that it matches with the rest of my icons. Also, it would be better to have the search bar on app drawer at the bottom. Lastly, could widgets be a thing here??

Old review: It's a great app really I'm enjoying it, BUT it does take a minute or 2 to load whenever I turn on my phone or exit an app. A widget page would also be nice. New review: After updating the app it works a lot smoother, overall if you're looking for a unique launcher with quick access and a great wallpaper view, this is for you.

This is my favorite launcher ever! I can see every single pixel of my wallpaper... until I touch the screen and all my most important apps are a millisecond and a few millimeter finger slide away. Absolutely brilliant! I have used this at least a couple of years now, and I've had little to no issues with this launcher.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of the pie but the launcher is way too limited. The app drawer needs to support more organization features (at least folders) and the home screen needs to support gestures (at the very least add double tap). If it had those features, it would be a very strong contender for default launcher for me. As it stands, it's just too limited.
