The modding system for buses is now more advanced, supporting many animations for buttons, rain, wipers, windows and so on. The community made already hundreds of buses, and there are more to come!
We will release many new buses as mods soon, there are some being created during this year. If we put all buses that we have inside the game it would get very huge and no one plays with all vehicles... So as a mod you keep just the ones that you like the most, thus saving space. All old non animated buses were not included in this editon, they will be relaunched as mods over the next few months.
During 2020 we released the map modding system, something very rare to find for mobile games! It is necessary a computer to create maps, but once created they can be run on most mobile devices with enough RAM.
These old routes are still present, but with a huge focus on custom map creation, they will be something of the past soon.
This simulator is FREE with some extras for PAID USERS. You may play with it forever in the free version, we don't want your money just because of the money itself. Pay only if you REALLY LIKE this project and understand its development process. Paid users won't see any ads, and will gain access to some exclusive features, including virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic acceleration at certain speed), screenshot capturing in 360 degree etc. Almost all other features are completely free. Almost all buses are free too.
It is more a simulator than a game. So we do not care about points, checkpoints, blah blah blah. Just pick up the bus you like and drive. Since it is a complex simulator, there are lots of controls and lots of settings. Please, watch some video or tutorial online before complaining about it. Most of the complaints are easily solved. For example, press N before selecting the gear to move the bus. Don't forget to release the parking brake. Some options may cause undesired behaviour. Please read carefuly settings descriptions before enabling an specific option. Some work best on some devices, while others don't.
This project is available for PC and Android. On PCs the overall graphics quality is better due to the powerful hardware that they generally have. There are many settings that you may change to improve performance. It requires a modern mid or high end device, with a huge amount of RAM memory (preferably 4 GB or more). If it does not play well on your device, please try older versions or play a little bit with settings. There is a known problem with 64-bit applications made with Unity for Android. If you experience bad framerates on your device, you may download the 32-bit apk from our website. It may be faster sometimes.
We will be focusing more on the core updates, specially about modding support. This simulator is awesome with mods, imagine it without them for a second...
You may download mods just by searching for Proton Bus mods or by acessing the button inside the game. To install mods you must use a file manager. Don't worry, the community may help you.
Currently most advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, and basic ones on a J7 Prime. It is not suitable for older phones with less than 2 GB of RAM, but you may try it by manually the via apk/obb, without any guarantee. Screenshots shown were taken on a Galaxy J7 Prime using the "good settings" button.

The game is amazing, but I would like it if you could add the game to iOS cuz the phone I play on android is not that good but I have a good iPhone. I used to play pbsu on iOS with test flight but it was very limited options.i would be happy if it came in iOS as this is the best bus simulator I've ever played.

Could be better with the language, spanish isnt the only language we all speak. The game crashes, if you want to leave the game and go to the menu you would have to hit the back button on your device to go to the menu. If you hit the button in game, it'll exit the game. Overall very good game :).

Really good. runs smoothly on a 2 year old Galaxy S10+. modding is extremely simple, although it's more difficult now as Android has blocked access to the Data folder (some android 11 thing), and I didnt root my phone. a suggestion to those facing this issue is to use a PC to transfer the mod files. Great simulator overall

Best game ever great graphics and love the way you can change the traffic intensity pedestrians and the amount of people on the bus. Would love an update where there is more maps and hopefully double decker buses in the future would recommend this game to anyone

Is incredible, but they're still some issues to fix on it to make the game look more interesting, 1 add deports where bus are departing, & add fuel station in each deports, to fill tank before departing, & add some bus terminal along the way, shows AI bus arrival/departure, 2 add lights in the bus stops, to signal in night from long distance, 3 add tunnels in some of the roads, 4 please rework on the town or city to look more busy, so when you arrive in town or city there will be more traffic

Nice game with the most detailed system for bus operation. Only near-future recommendations are a tutorial explaining the bus' different functions (buttons), a tutorial walkover or level, and some graphics improvement. Also, please consider some calibrations for tilt as its turning is too sharp and not fluid and natural.

The game is good even the graphics, but one major issue is that the steering. While running about 2kph it is very hard to manuver especially on the sharp turns. As i have discovered the faster you go the more it reduces it's angle of turn. Another thing is the language. How do we know if some passemger is getting off if the language is maybe a spanish. Sometime the indicator blinks but most of the time it's not. Quite cool sim but have to fix these things

Too Much High! Anyways. Could I suggest you something? I am not forcing you to do this but I would be glad to Include this in an update. Can you please make the Display Route System a little more complex which looks like the ones in OMSI 2, because the Selecting Route was been for a long time but Things can Change too right? So can you please make it more advance if you can do it just like ones in Omsi. But if you cannot do it, it just ok. Not forcing you to do it. Just suggesting.

This game is really good! It's realistic, good handling, and lots of buses. The reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because I don't like these 2 things about the game. 1: The road/ footpath are too clean it's kinda weird. What I mean is there should be A LITTLE BIT of trash like, papers, tissues, cans on the road & footpath. I think it will make it look more realistic. But only a LITTLE BIT of it. The 2nd thing I dont like is that the cars just stop when your at a bus stop. That's all I don't like

This game needs a graphics overhaul with all transparent minimalist controls better vegetation, roads, building and sky texture, better lighting and enhanced color scheme, some more animations, peds in the city, the city can be more lively, oh and some cool weather effects like raining, snow, dynamic weather and day night system. the logo and the ingame UI/UX should be clean and easy to understand please update to maximize it's potential & be a fun game.

This is in my opinion the best bus simulator on Android. Very detailed models, realistic maps, and a great mod community. But I only gave a 4 star rating since there is no feature which allows the camera to focus on the back of the bus for realistic 3rd person gameplay, and this works especially for mods. It will also be great if you can add back collisions within the next update, and if possible, add body deformation for both bus and traffic, and also a roadmap showing the entire city.

This is so far the best Simulation Game I've ever played the whole year! I especially love the notes about the gameplay performance and so on! I also think that the developers should let us record the driving process and replay it with different bus camera angles. It would also be wonderful if the buses in the background actually have routes to operate on and act as a the bus that the player drives. Overall, this game so far has an excellent improvement and highly smooth in-game experience!

This game is awesome no doubt. This is one of the best games as compared to other games in the play store, which provides numerous buses with detailed maps and settings. PBS is my most favourite game. But a small suggestion I want to give to the developer is that nowadays electric vehicles are evolving throughout the world, so I suggest to add few electric buses in the future update so that the game will be more fascinating to the user. And believe me this game will be more attractive .

EDIT After the latest update, the windshield and the window glass have some kind of reflection which brighten up the areas which are seen through them. This makes it annoying when the whole city has a different brightness and the areas through windshield and windows appear bright. Please check on this issue. And recommended to make the mirrors a little brighter as nothing can be seen from them when they are dull and does not reflect the actual environment behind. Thnx for the beautiful game..🙌

So far, it's the best bus simulation game I have been playing since I ever found it. The models, sounds and more are realistic. I bought L2 Premium some months ago and it was great. There were no more ads, and I could download the Premium Mods. I'd like to make my own bus liveries. However, I can't seem to find any tutorials on YouTube. Asking for help here will be useless, though. But don't worry, I'll search more. Thank you for this wonderful game.

This game is very good and unique to other bus simulators I've played. The graphics are awesome if you have a device with 4+ Gigs of ram, the buses are very high detailed. But the fact that you can just pick a bus of your choice without points and take it out for a spin is even better. You can drive around the many cities, almost like a sandbox. 5*!

This is an exceptional game that I play a lot, I like it pretty much. But I have a suggestion. It would be better to maintain the option to switch routes directly in the game without reloading, which is more consistent with the real situation. Otherwise, some of the bus with only one door will cause problems that when passengers get off at the terminal station, passengers with stop signs will get on the bus directly.(this is one of the primary reasons) Thank you, looking forward to your updates.

This gotta be the best bus simulator for android. The buses are easy to control, its offline, and the maps are very realistic. But i have a suggestion and that is to add a feature where you can make the bus go into A.I mode and a passenger mode. Reason for a A.I mode is to make this game more interesting and have us users have the ability to fan the bus and passenger mode, sure this is a bus simulator but sometimes we don't always drive the bus all the time. Sometimes we want to be a passenger and enjoy the ride. Those are my suggestions.

I was having problems with the version I had which was very old. I deleted it and installed the latest version. Off the bat I can see that there were alot of changes just on the menu alone. But if I attempt to go anywhere, like play, the game freezes and stops responding. The only button that does anything is the Menu button, which I can open the menu but attempting to press any buttons there also freezes the app. Please help. PBS is one of my favorite simulators and I love playing it when i can

I have had alot of fun with this game but there are some minor issues. Gameplay gets stale after a couple days of playing. It is also really annoying when I have to turn around to get to the next bus stop. Please add one bus stop every stop NOT 2 Side by Side. Also physics are wonky because you drive through cars like a ghost. But that's enough complaining. Graphics look amazing and runs smooth (Lite Mode) on my lg k40 with 2 gb of Ram. This Game is Average, not the best but a great game to pl
