AS OF 09/2025: I'm back again and happy to report that I think they listen to us. I'm at Level 230 and not getting bombarded with annoying ads in mid play. THANKS New Review: since starting to play this game, I got up to Level 180 when the ads just went crazy -- off the chain!! Ads come in between levels, but I had to uninstall at Level 190 due to ads popping up CONSTANTLY during play, while I'm deciding what move to make, just ads, ads, ads. Too bad, I really liked the game.

Fun little game, until the ad assault started. After about 50 levels, I started seeing really long, really loud, extremely dumb ads. They were impossible to skip and occurred between pretty much every level. I had been considering paying for the game, but the ads were such an insult to my intelligence that playing the game now makes me feel like an imbecile. So I don't want the game any more.

There are good aspects to this game, but it falls seriously short in too many areas. No timer. That's a good thing. No information on the 'stars' are awarded. Bad. Generous with awarding stars at the start, good. Once you reach the tournament level, no more three stars to be found unless you're literally perfect. Except for stars that count in tournaments, what are the other awarded items even for? Random hard crashes because back-end sync web sites are down (what are you syncing, anyway?)

It was fun. Until you get passed level 100, then you constantly have ads popping up that cover the entire screen and you can't exit out of them, so you have to close the game completely, then you have to go BACK into the game and lose stars because the ads covered the screen. It's beyond frustrating and not worth my time anymore. I rarely download games onto my phone and I am definitely certain this game gave my phone a virus, since now, certain screens will randomly shut and random ads pop up.

Great that there's no time limit, but there are so many unnecessary elements, like Amazing!, Goal Reached, Wisdom points, & other purposeless time-wasting junk. It's unclear why I get three stars on most puzzles but suddenly get only 1 or 2 stars, when it was solved without helps. No explanation. If it's because it took longer, then it's timed, which contradicts the claim that there's no timer. The wisdom points, etc. are purposeless & stars are not explained, so only distract & discourage.

Saw an ad for this while playing a similar game and downloaded it since it advertised "no ads or timer" and saw they dont collect/sell personal or financial info. The no timer holds true but im very disappointed that "no ads" is only true for the first 8 levels. I downloaded it from here and the Samsung Play Store thinking that may have been the issue, but no. I'd love to give it a higher rating but I don't like false advertising.

Excellent version of this game! I enjoy relaxing with it. I played a few other versions, but I come to this one most often, a lack of a timer certainly makes it less stressful. I just wish it would have been possible to buy an add free version - ads between levels are generally not that obtrusive, as you spend enough time beating each level, but sometimes bottom banner ads just auto-open, and those ones are mildly annoying.

Sketchy ad funnel. !!DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! made it to level 754 and enjoyed the game. Ads were greedily pushy from the start, at the bottom of every level, at the end of every level and ridiculously long ads to earn power ups, along with multiple pop ups about a tournament or some other bs, but now ads make the game unplayable in a very sketchy way. they pop up midlevel, and either freeze the screen so you have to restart or automatically open in the browser. A sketchy and greedy waste of time.

Exactly what I was looking for!! Clever, strategic, and challenging, without being stressful. No timer means the puzzles can actually be more tricky and fun, because you're not battling the clock. I'm on level 60 after playing for a few hours, and the game is really addicting. There is an ad after every level, but they're usually very short (5-10 seconds), and nothing spammy. like any new game, it doesn't get good until after level 15 or so. but that only took a few minutes.

The game is really fun but the ads pop up in the middle of playing. It simply became too annoying so I deleted it. If they kept the ads to between games, I would have kept it. Edit: I upped my rating from 2 to 3. I received a response from the developer and downloaded the app again to see when the ads popped up. Now it is working correctly. It did open a web page for an ad midgame once but I just closed it and was able to keep playing. Two points off for still being sneaky.

This game is Fun and frustrating!!! It's a puzzle game, there is no timer so no rush, the longer you take the less of the 3 stars you get, there's no bombs to stress about. The frustrating part is when you get to higher lvls there are too many blocks to move anything, You have to watch an ad to get one a cheat to remove blocks, so there's room to move. You can't buy any with coins, you win them, but you use them every level so you run out. pausing during levels isn't fun.

I'm about 800 puzzles in and all of them are solvable without power-ups so far, which means a lot, but the ads pop in from the side at random and sometimes can't be closed, meaning you have to close down and restart. Thegame makes a pretty big deal about the power-ups, which kind of don't matter, and it would be a better app if there were appealing unlockable features like cosmetic adjustments and sound themes.

LITERALLY CAN NO LONGER PLAY. It WAS fun until ads pop up mid-game that you can't exit out of without restarting the game and losing puzzle progress. Just got to level 1307 and an ad for Honda CR-Vs pops up every single time. I can't exit out of the ad and it never goes away. I've tried to speed run the level but the ad always pops up. I messaged the developer. No response yet. Probably just going to delete the app if I don't hear back in a few days.

This game was fun until they started making the challenges impossible to win unless you are willing to buy tons of boosters just to win one level, let alone a challenge!!! If you watch the ads to earn a booster, the ads are at LEAST one and a half minutes (with all stages of each ad to get thru). I'm uninstalling! I was enjoying the game until the black block levels that give you little to no room to move at all, without using numerous boosters without buying them. And it would cost a fortune.

this would've been a 4 to 5 star review but the game has become too annoying to play because of ads that pop up mid playing that do not go away without opening your browser or forcing you to restart. I get that you use the ads to make it free, I'm ok with that, I do not agree to be sent to web pages for items I am either not interested in or are political in nature. Remove this new type of ad that just started the other day, and I will add stars back in.

I keep playing it but it's far too easy. It's absolutely mindless. There's just no challenge, but I keep it because I hate the timer on the greatest puzzle game, Color Block Jam, which causes a lot of anxiety. But I have to delete this game; the puzzles never get harder. I haven't used a single booster or failed to solve within 2 minutes. Update: OK, I keep playing. It is mindless, but I suppose it's good to have something I can solve every time.

Shape Escape is a fun puzzle game, that gets more challenging later. After level 9, there's a "short" ad before the next level - this is more annoying at early levels, when you're solving each one quickly. Later, it might take a few minutes longer per level to solve; and ads are okay then..kind of.. otherwise, I'd rate Shape Escape higher.. four stars, for now.
