If an item is missing at the store i can't help that. I always let the customer know and give them an opportunity to choose a substitute. Why am i getting a poor rating for this? On most gig apps such as this one, ratings based on things out of our control are filtered out. This needs to be fixed. Also, the app freezes, drains battery and wastes your time making you scan every item- there is no way one could do a large order in the time allotted when the scanner freezes up half the time.

Scheduling can be a bit confusing so some pop up tutorials to walk you through it would be helpful. Orders are pretty well organized and it's very simple to review and accept orders. Although it would be nice if the order notification would show more details about the order. Help section has a ton of useful content but could be organized better. Scanning barcodes while shopping is pretty easy but it would be helpful to just have a quick button for manually entering an item instead of going through the hassle of scanning an item again just to manually enter it or having to search for an item knowing it wont be there but you have to search for it to get the button to enter a custom item. Also, the rewards system for stores like Lidl or Harris Teeter is broken. The numbers that come up are incorrect and inconsistent. Especially for Lidls itll vary between phone numbers, emails, or just a huge random code. And even the phone numbers which is what works are usually wrong (doesnt register as a member or is too long to be a phone number).

The app continues to have issues with android users!!! I used an iPhone for two years with Shipt with zero problems!!! I have been using a Samsung s10 android over the past two months and the transitions are clunky and I constantly recieve a loading error when trying to access the app, I have to close out the app each time and load up again!!! The only issue I've had transitioning from iPhone to android has been the Shipt shopper app!!!

The app is mostly fine. The main features of the app work well, although there are way, way too many notifications. Please, only give us notifications that pertain to our specific zone we are on the schedule for. we are receiving notifications every 5-10 minutes for promos across the entire metro... that is not useful and extremely annoying and distracting during shops, as we think we have an order only to find it is a promo order prompt for all the zones in my metro.

Pretty good so far. Only a few minor issues in my opinion. The suggested texts don't always appear and I have to manually text the customer. (I wouldn't mind this normally, but it can cut into your time management) also I think a few items belong in different categories, like yogurt should be in dairy, not snacks. Overall, really loving the shopper experience.

I used Shipt for several years, off and on to get money. If you hustle all day you can make decent money, but it's insanely stressful. They only give you an hour to shop, regardless of the amount of items, traffic, and out of stock products. I've been late a few times, but I've always received high ratings, tips, and preferred customers. Regardless, they blocked my account when my car broke down on the freeway and I couldn't deliver my order. No notice or warning.

They have very unrealistic expectations. You will be let go for delivering late at some point it seems, unless you plan on doing 1 order at a time, or have photographic memory of every stores layout, but even then, a customer not responding might end up making you late anyways. The appeal process is virtually non-existant. The app also regularly crashes or malfunctions, requiring a full restart to resume your trip. Often times messages don't send, and will instead vanish after hitting send.

I spent an hour of my time and gas while driving to the shopping location(Target) and actually finding and scanning all of the items on the list, to get to check out and stand there for 10 mins waiting for it to stop saying bad network connection. I finally gave up and called in and they said the person cancelled. nowhere in that time of me shopping and getting to the checkout line did it say they cancelled. i asked to be compensated for my time and they gave me $5 for AN HOUR PLUS GAS!

The app itself sucks! Every day, twice a day, I have to restart my phone just to get the app to work. It always seems to happen while I'm shopping for an order. This is always the reason for me having late deliveries never my fault. Every thing else in my phone works perfectly just this app requires me to restart my phone every such and inconvenience.

it's a cool app with a lot of individuality but unfortunately it appears support is so limited in their ability to actually help in circumstantial cases. the driver support team doesn't compensate for address issues, delays, etc. many times the ranges are not averaged out and you're tricked into driving for almost 8 hours and getting paid less while still delivering like 60 boxes. all in all its a decent app just has minor discrepancies that can make the experience more difficult & discontent.

at least for me, and I've tried getting help multiple times, when I get produce at Meijer, many of the single items like one apple will not let me just click add one. It wants me to scan a barcode and the tiny barcode on the apple's sticker won't scan despite being crystal clear sharp in my display. I ask support and they say add it as a special item. that still asks for a scan. It worked perfectly for years, until late last year. I have the same issue on two different Android phones.

I started doing shipt after losing my job. It was great. After I unknowingly had an issue with the app during a delivery, it didn't complete the delivery like I thought it did but the order went away on my app like it does after completing, a few hours of not seeing my pay for the order I called support, got very little help from them other than logout and back in, that's when it showed back up to be completed. That made my order 3 hours late. I was deactivated for something out of my control.

I am heartbroken 💔 I have just been deactivated for delivery orders late. I just gave a review on the app stating that they need to give more time to pick up and deliver. I have a 100 on completion 100 on reliability and they gave me a late rating for being 2 minutes late. I don't understand this at all. I really enjoyed working for this company. I have been a top deliver for doordash for years and they give you an awesome experience work for them. They need to reverse the deactivate. 😭

This app crashes a lot for me, I have told them that and all they stated was to notify them when it happens but how am I to do that if I have to delete it and re-download then sign back in and start my order over again. At that point I'm too worried im going to be late to think about messaging them because at that point I have to completely login and rescan everything as if I never started. If the app wouldn't randomly freeze or crash it would be better. This is really a 2.5 rating.

Decent app. Definitely doesn't pay the $16 hour they promote in their frequently asked questions. Some travel distances are proportionately underpaid. Such as a 45 min one way with a few item pickup pays $13. That only covers the fuel to/from. Not all stores are created equal, 50+ items estimate out at 1 minute per item despite having to move through the store and locate the item when its not listed by location/aisle. Can easily run late between shopping and travel.

Worst gig app. Most of the customers don't tip, most of the orders underpay. They add unnecessary steps to the shopping process which makes completing orders take longer than they would if you were shopping for other apps. The force a lot of unnecessary contact with the customers. They won't alert the customer at checkout that their order is on its way, they expect the driver to do that even though even though the app server could do this instantaneously in a fraction of a second at no cost.

5 stars for Shipt shopping and most of the customers. 4 stars and waning for Shipt customer service. 0 stars for the Shipt app. Absolutely worst app that I have ever used ever. Constantly locks up, doesn't work, has glitches, slow, and doesn't work. Constant issues. Every. Single. Day. Multiple times. All. Day. Long. Have to constantly force it close, reboot, uninstall and reinstall. All of the time. The app is horrendous.

Updated review. I've been shopping since 2020. I'm now putting in 3 times as work to make half the money I used to. I firmly believe there is a problem with the Meijer prepaid system that isn't allowing many customers to tip and Shipt is doing nothing about it. The algorithm is the worst to deal with. I'm a 5 star, perfect stats shopper, but because I took a little time off shopping I don't get offered most of my preferred customers; the majority of the offers I do get are prepaid orders

This app is so buggy. Especially every time they have an update. I have to frequently force a stop because of issues. Not being able to message customers, not seeing full lists of items, things just not loading and the worst, not getting offers! I won't get offers during my scheduled times but then there will be multiple orders in my area in the open metro that I never got offered. I've contacted support multiple times and haven't gotten a resolution.

New, usually different set of problems every update. Still have to restart phone when accidentally closing app while in use. Message system often stops delivering messages mid shop. Support is hit or miss. All the other usual glitches; lagging, loading, scaning, and so forth. Usually get a new phone a year for the last 6 years, had the same issues on each phone.
