It's been awhile. But I'm back. I need the words ATHEIST, HUMANIST, SECULAR, NON-BELIEVERS, FREETHINKING, to be added to the religious and spirituality content or give us our own category. It also seems that the podcasts I listen to are not here. I don't mind the ads as long as what I download plays in order and doesn't start over. I need it to be easy to delete one or a group after I've finished. And I need to be able to find them when I want them. Even auto download new ones when I'm on wifi

The latest update broke something: all my favorites disappeared, and only a few have reappeared after a few days; searching for the missing podcasts brings up nothing - has Spreaker lost access to many contributors? Its like Spreaker lost a server. Nothing on twitter. Update: Podcasts were withdrawn without notification to listeners. Can't listen to favorites anymore. This is a big weakness of Spreaker: unable to integrate RSS feeds, or to detect & play downloaded files.

It's a decent player but suffers in terms of options compared to an app like PlayerFM. I also have a frequent issue when downloading, it will say "will download when there is an internet connection" where I have to disable and reconnect my wifi in order to do so. My connection and settings are solid. It has five star potential, but it's just not there yet.

4 years later and the app isn't any better. None of the bugs have been fixed. It's an ok app but it seems to stop playback for no reason at all. Now they have added all these long ads before I listen to the shows I'm interested in. If the podcasters have to pay to use this app why are there so many commercials? Hopefully the radio shows I listen to will stop using Spreaker and go to another format. Update, 11/5/23 app is even worse, I finally uninstalled it.

Easiest, cleanest, most reliable podcast app out there. Cannot say enuff good things. Also, their support team is fantastic. FANTASTIC. I use the free version, yet if I have a question about even this most obscure, random thing.. they personally email me and are jovial, friendly, and have an actual conversation.. can't say enuff good stuff about Spreaker.

I get annoyed with any app that wants to charge you money, but not let you manage your payment preferences - This platform, web or app, doesn't even let you manage your payment preferences. There are no payment preferences. You have to cancel your plan with them to be able to change the way that you give them money. I've heard a lot of stupid things in my life, but this one ranks pretty high up there.

I host a music podcast and I love how the mixer board is easy to navigate, but it would be even better if we could control the bass and the treble levels. And please give the listeners the ability to read the songs info after the show. It was removed but it would help if it was reentered for the listeners that want to know.

I liked spreaker and have used it for years, but I am uninstalling this app because it does not stream new podcasts. There have been several new podcasts released that I wanted to hear and I couldn't find them on spreaker. I found them on various other podcast apps. The podcasts were from big networks like how stuff works so no reason why spreaker shouldn't have them.

Dont download. They steal money from your account, and when I asked for a refund they emailed me back saying they said 'we notified you, no refunds after transactions are completed'. Although It was an automatic transaction out of my account without me being aware and on a different date then I set up the account. It's totally a scam to get into your banking funds and let them take out as much as possible without you noticing then saying oh no refunds. Mf I didn't approve any of this.

Despite what they and some other recent reviews claim, the issue of the app restarting shows from the beginning after pausing (not even closing the app, literally just hitting pause then play) is NOT fixed. On top of that, every time it restarts, I get ads which cannot be skipped, skipping forward just changes it to a different ad, and the ads are so frequent it's unbearable.

Pretty great app. I love being able to download my podcasts so I don't need Internet while I'm driving. Its easy to use and just kind of works. I just wish it warns you if the Internet connection is cut instead of what it does now which is kind of lock up or something. Also its fun using my headphones call answer button to pause the podcast as needed. Some cons, yes the search function needs a little work. It can't find anything unless you type a phrase that's very close to the name of the podcast. Also I want a way to go to a certain point in the podcast in case I lose my position. I don't like the current way of sliding that bar thing. I want it to be precise.

EXCELLENT APP!HONESTLY I DON'T DO MANY REVIEWS,BUT I'VE GOTTA SAY THAT THIS ONE IS HAND'S DOWN A 5⭐APP! IT'S USER FRIENDLY, AND I'VE NOT SEEN ANY ADS AND THAT'S SAYIN SOMETHING.IT'S GOT A CLEAN INTERFACE AND SOOO MANY GREAT PODCASTS! ALL THE HITS, ALL THE BIG NAMES AND ALSO A BUNCH (AND I DO MEAN A BUNCH) OF OTHER REALLY GREAT PODCASTS I'VE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF, BUT ARE JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN SOME OF THE WELL KNOW ONES. HARD TO CHOOSE FROM 🤔😂🤣💯 U🫵WILL KEEP THIS APP!💯 TRY IT. 😉

Every time I start a new episode it makes it a few minutes into the program and then *BOOM*, it stops and jumps to the last episode I've completed. Then I have to back out of the old episode, go to my downloads, find the one I'd just started and select it AGAIN, then it begins where it had suddenly stopped. What a PITA.

This used to be my favorite podcast app, but no more. SO MANY ISSUES over the past year, mainly. 1. Cannot pause/play without it timing out. Before, I would pause/play without issues. Now, if I pause, it acts as if it lost connection so it tries to load again - it is very annoying. 2. Cast option is hit or miss

It's actually a pretty good app. It works pretty well with no problems. I do have one hang up. Realizing the necessity of advertising (marketing or advertising doesn't work on me), there is a lot of bottom of the barrel agency ads. Haven't heard any PI stuff yet, so there's hope, but there's simply to many. I had to listen to three two-for-ones before getting to hear content. That's not acceptable.

my only issue is that the app will basically crash out if another sound (notification, video, etc.) plays. the app won't let me do anything, so I have to force close multiple times for it to refresh and be able to resume playing the episode. an update that allows the app to resume playing automatically when the interruption is over, or at least be fine in the background until i can get back into it, would be nice.
