It's a beautiful, well written game with a fun cast of characters. It's also ad free. However, the prices per book are just irrational. You can play the books without paying, but at a severe cost to the narrative. You miss out on fun parts, more story-heavy parts. But at nearly $10 PER chapter...? There's lots of ways one could improve on this! Change the price per chapter. Have a base price per character to unlock their entire story. Make it easier to gain coins for free.

The story, charas, & art are amazing! I normally get bored quickly but this game kept me hooked UNTIL it became apparent that I'd have to pay for the good choices! (And in some cases, ANY choice!) Getting coins outside of physically paying for them takes forever! Even if you pay out of pocket, the lowest amount you can spend won't even get you ONE choice! I never pay for apps but I'd actually pay to have the full version of this! But this freemium bs is crazy! Just let me buy the whole game!

A fine game, with good characters and a lot to recommend it... But like many others, I find the expense appalling. It's just too much. And mind you, I put real money into it. I don't mind doing that when I feel the app has earned it despite my being on fixed income. However, I cannot justify the coin costs the game requires. I've gotten the good endings for the three main characters, but skipped almost all the coin content, and I find myself unmotivated now, which sincerely makes me sad. Fix it.

The story and characters are fantastic and very well written. There's character growth the further into the story one goes, and there's a lot of varied stories to explore with multiple endings. The biggest problem (why I put 4 stars) is one needs in-game "coins" to unlock certain plot progression to reach better endings, but these plot points cost way too many coins. There's no way to get enough coins without spending way too much money. I'd rather pay for a full game then this coin gimmick.

I've been playing for years lol. since i was 15 or 16, im 21 now. over the years, the developers have been smart about how they format their app. the minigames, storyline selection screen, and shop, were changed minimally in order to suit their modern designs. this new update is ridiculous though. you have to scroll past 3 different ads/promos to get to the minigames. the app itself has become less stable, being susceptible to freezing/crashing. there is no excuse.

The game, overall, is appealing, with an interesting plot and characters that seem stunning at first glance. However, there are a lot of drawbacks I've experienced with the game that make it impossible to consider it "a good sim." Pros: gender and pronoun selection Cons: high cost, problematic devs, zero replayability, rarely any supplementation for your purchases, lack of flexibility, lack of activities, and lack of depth in the world.

Let me start with: from the two characters I did finish playthroughts for, I loved the storyline and seeing the story from different perspectives - that's one of my favorite tropes from games like this || Onto the bad: It's not just that the premium choices cost money, but the fact to get all those options in say, [JUST] Asra's route, would come out to be over 100USD is ridiculous. Why not just make it a one-time purchase for the core/main story options? It's a super slimy practice to me, tbh

Tried to redownload because I figured there would be more content after a couple years. Whatever company took over make the app unplayable, expensive and trash! Their other app is ridiculous "pay to play", the ads and banners get in the way of every storyline here and it feels very predatory compared to when I first played. I hope this new company goes out of business so we can have the original game back 😅

Beautiful art, great music, interesting story. I originally loved this, but then they introduced the option to buy things like the "best" choice dialogs in romance situations. From my understanding, it doesnt lock you out from the route or a happy end even if you dont pick any of them, which is nice, and I can understand using the extra scenes as incentive for money, but as other reviewers have pointed out - if you actually go through and buy everything, it comes up to a ridiculous number. It feels like an insult! If they release the option to just buy a route I might come back to it, but after all my progress was recently wiped somehow, I'm not going through it again.

Game is visually beautiful and breathtaking, currently on the Julian storyline. The mini games are fun, but it sucks that every good option costs coins, which if you don't buy em, are hard to rack up, imo. Why I couldnt give 5 stars? During the game, many times, Ive had to close the whole app because it would freeze. Annoying but it does save my story line. Frozen during heart heroes or whatever it's called, and lost a game. All in all I recommend this beautiful, LGBTQ friendly game!!!

it probably was then, i appreciate you taking the time to clear everything up about the previous company and the way characters are portrayed. the game itself is very nice, i really like the art in it. kinda wish there was more about the crow headed character since that one is my favorite, but regardless, the game runs pretty smooth and the UI is easy to understand after a little bit. there are some gripes i have, but overall the game is well made imo and run nicely even on some older devices.

Game was incredible, definitely Asra's biggest fan. I love the story as well as the mini games you can play to get post cards. My favorite part would have to be the music, I love the sounds. I think the only thing that needs is better ads because the ads make the game seem cringe. I think it would be better to focus less on the "omg their so hot" and more on the story aspect and the mystery/magic element of it with some of the romance peeking through instead of making that the whole premise.

My original review was 5 stars and I adored this game when it came out, then few years later bumped it down to 4 stars for the mobile game pop ups. Now, it's down to 2 stars. When I log in, I have to click three different X's, in different spots, promoting their own games and merch. When I go to the dailies tab, I have to scroll down past more promotions to get to the actual dailies. Click any other tab and you'll get taken to an extern page for more of their own content! Insanity!!!

I've only fully played through once so far but I love this! The art and storytelling are engrossing. I will definitely play through every ending and find all the details uncovered from each different choice. I'm thoroughly invested in every detail of this world, story, and characters. I've even started sewing a cosplay for how I have envisioned my character. My only tiny critique is that on replay, it doesn't seem to bookmark your progress, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I'm in love with this game currently. I've yet to have an ad just trigger, which is a next change for a mobile game. The art is beautiful and just how I like it for this kind of game. The story is so intriguing as well that I find myself putting way to much time into this game! 😅 My one complaint is that it takes forever to get the coins I need to do the options I want. Edit- Recently they changed how the ads for coins system works in the game and I no longer have any complaints 😁

Started my adventure since freshman year of highschool. This game is astonishing, there isn't anything like it. I loved it so much I couldn't bare deleting it from phone even after completing all routes. Love the work put into it🌸✨ it will always be my favorite. It's got a delightful sound track, expressive characters, beautiful backgrounds, and an immersive plot. Give it shot🍀

One of the best games I've ever gotten. It has amazing visuals, an amazing story, great art and music, and some lovely diverse characters to romance with. Each character is unique in their own way, and gives you a lovely selection of happiness. Oh, and some absolutely lovely side characters *cough cough Selasi.* Not only that, but getting coins is pretty easy (especially if you spend them wisely). Once again, one of the best games I've ever downloaded.

I like the characters and the art a lot and am always sad when I've finished a pathway. There are some that I like more than others. However the IAPs are really overpriced. $20 worth of coins only got you about 5 scenes and the scenes are often not worth it which leaves you frustrated. This is definitely not really a set of stories with much choice but it's a very cute visual novel. Asra's story is the best developed imo. I feel $20 should have unlocked multiple books...

The story is fantastic, but I really miss the old app. There are a lot of ads now, and even if they're all ads for the owners arcana related stuff, pop-ups are still annoying :/ Edit: no amount of positive spin makes closing multiple pop-ups in a row to get to my dailies less annoying. I like that the Dorian app stuff exists, I'd just like it a lot more if it didn't get in the way of enjoying the game it's based off of. Maybe make a Dorian tab, or let people pay to get rid of the Dorian ads

This app is super enjoyable, awesome stories, interesting and addictive. I love that you can choose non-binary pronouns. Only being able to read 3 chapters at a time and the wait time for more keys seem pretty harsh, though. And the paid options cost a lot more for what you get than I can spend on a mobile game. More ad-watching opportunities to get coins and keys, for us players who can't afford to pay, would be really great. Or some less expensive paid options.
