My play time is limited so take this with a grain of salt but this is exactly what I've been looking for. Just a nice simple game where you can drive a train forward with a little more than just a line. There are some things that could be touched up like more variety and the camera and movement controls are awful. But at its core is a game where you can drive a train around a route, pull into some sidings to let other trains pass and get back to it which is awesome. Lot of potential and fun now.

GOOD: Nice graphics. Open world type gameplay. Missions are challenging but not impossible. BAD: Terrible interface. Missions can take way too long to complete. No tutorial. First game EVER IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING not to have a way to save your progress. VERDICT: More like a work in progress than a finished product. 3 stars.

This is a great little train sim for mobile devices! Very in depth and minimalistic but wonderfully put together. My only complaint/wish is that there were some more railways and a way to customize jobs, locomotives, and cargo available. Sound is a bit sketchy and canned but easily overlooked if you are a train enthusiast looking for a time killer. Mission completion is hit and miss and a bit unclear how they're actually fulfilled. (I also wish this was in the Amazon store as well!)

Overall great game, the only bug I've encountered that seems to happen to me is occasionally the engine-tender couplers won't reattach to anything after decoupling, but usually I don't need to decouple those anyway. The only other thing is the sandbox levels seem a little too limited in the amount of points(and by extension cars/engines) you're allowed to get before it stops offering ads to watch.

How isn't this game more popular? It is a very good game! Although I would not recommend playing this on an older or cheaper device because it does lag with them. But this game is amazing for railfans like me! It's got amazing trains with great diversity. It does need updates more often. Although there are 2 noticable glitches that need fixing, 1 where after decoupling cars/locos, u can't recouple them. Also when not viewing decoupling buttons, sometimes 1 will pop up. Idk if they are fixed yet.

1st big issue: Ads are tedious. I would gladly pay money to support development and unlock ad free version. That should be an option. This puts just about everything in front of a video ad. Just let me give you money and unlock it. 2nd: Need to be able to adjust the look/movement controls. If I could switch move/strafe and look sides to match up with more common game layout would be huge. Those two things make this an easy 5 star time waster. Right now it has a lot of potential.

ok, I'm into alot of simulators, but this one caught my eye cause...its a train simulator. the control on the left ( looking around/ turn while walking) is a bit sensitive and off set a bit. and at first I had no idea how to do so till I stumbled on it. also i have no idea what I'm doing. the destinations are printed on the cars and engines yet it doesn't give an indication that progress is being gained. A tutorial would be significant or even some kind of direction would also make it better

Fun game! Just a few suggestions: 1. Reverse the camera rotation controls when viewing the train from outside. They seem counterintuitive and I always rotate the wrong direction. 2. Allow entrance to the locomotive from slightly farther away. When getting up close, most of the green arrow is covered up and not selectable. 3. Update the horn sounds so they are not so choppy. Thanks!

Overall a good game. Graphics are decent for a mobile game, models are pretty good. But I'd like some more variety. Like maybe add randomly generating missions within the sandbox mode to keep players engaged, or add more switching jobs. Just something more. It's very simplistic at the moment. Feels more like a Beta game than something that's fully developed. It needs more.

Great game. Lot's of fun to play. Would like to see more scenery. Like little towns along the tracks. Maybe some roads and rail crossings. People getting on and off of the passenger trains. Some period correct cars for the steam engines would be awesome. Maybe some different levels. Like a desert theme or snow theme. Awesome game none the less. Has me hooked.

While there are some things about this game that I like, the negatives really do enough of a disservice to keep it from reaching its potential. I don't like that you lose all progress when the app is closed, and the sound design (while decent in some areas - like the sound of the wheels grinding on the tracks,) is overall pretty abysmal. It really isn't hard to find good, free-use diesel, steam, whistle/horn, and bell sound effects, (heck I've made a few,) and there's just no excuse for it.

so it is a fun game. Couple things I would love to see fixed. the walking controls are I bit weird. and there needs to be a save feature. for levels like the central yard chaos. that level takes quite a while. it would be nice to save and pick back up where you left off instead of having to start all over. if there was a game save feature I would rate 5 stars.

I've tried a few train sims for Droid and this is the best, so far. I really enjoy it and the controls are pretty realistic (in my humble opinion). The routes run long enough that you can enjoy some train zen and scenery. The sounds are realistic and soothing. It has a few different trains to choose from, steam and modern, if you want to run with a different train you can unlock it with an ad. You can do some shunting, switching is very clear. So far, this is the best train sim on Droid.

Awesome game. Has a solid base are far as operations. Great potential. I sure hope the developers continue to add to the game as far as scenarios and new track layouts. Like many others have said, additional scenery would help a lot. Would love to see industry, loading and unloading of cars. Suggested speed limits along the track. Overall, solid game with tremendous potential.

Fun game for spending down time on. I really like the switching scenarios. Could do with some more iconic locomotives, and different maps with bigger yards. The sandbox train builder is a very limited because of the point system, especially when the bigger Locomotives that can pull more cost more, so you get less cars because of the point system. Also, wish there was a full version to buy to unlock all Locomotives in scenarios instead of having to watch ads to unlock them.

I really like the game, I wish there was more real life stuff in it like have the trains go through the cities and have places where there are some railroad crossings. Also it would be nice to have some kind of help when you get to a station or rail yard. It would be cool if there was tunnels as well! Really need a light inside the cab while playing night mode. Starting closer to the locomotives would be nice in a future updates!

It's a good game and probably the only good train game for mobile. I've gone threw a lot of train games and this is my favorite one. I only gave it 4 stars because you can't save in the sandbox/creative mode. Otherwise I think this is very well done. Also in sandbox mode I think you should be able to get all the trains or at least more because in the sandbox you only get so much instead of all of them. I'd just like to play with more steam in sandbox mode and to be able to save it otherwise 4/5

Can't unlock the big steamer in random freight anymore. The message says video ad is unavailable, and on the GS it won't even open the lock to decide to display the video option. Simple goals-not even required. Nice, easy,& works well. Read instruct.s avoids issues, devs do try w/time(tried yrs ago IIRC) Got out, fell off bridge, in woods, got lost😆

This game has so much potential. It is the only real mobile train operating experience. It needs to focus more on its sandbox feature, it is by far the best. There needs to be a save feature on the sandbox, it would make it such a better game. Also fixing lag issues would help, after you get into the plus 50 trains in the map it lags, especially in yards or cities. Though it is still a good game. I wish it had more of the railroads I like, like Grand Trunk but the amount of railroads is decent.

My biggest disappointment is in the lack of settings and game controls. There's no way to pause, save, change audio level, etc. I'd also like more ways to move the cameras around. Also, having a map in sandbox is good, but what about when doing routes? You have a selection of routes but have no way of knowing what each route is like before playing. When playing the routes, you just go wherever the tracks take you and you don't really know anything. This could be a really good game otherwise.
