I ma not getting any option for raising complaints on help and support section. I am watching the videos on mobile app bu the progress is not getting updated. It's not marking the lecture as completed. How can I connect with tech support.

The app is very hard to work offline because you first need Internet to login. Today a new bug appeared where I don't see any data at all. This is an app I want to rely on to learn and advance in my career during my commute. But I'm not satisfied.

I love Udemy but the app is so broken that I can't play any lectures. I've tried downloading several but regardless of the course, there is some sort of error that causes it to skip and stop playing

Dreadfully slow app. Take more time to get each video loaded than the actual video. Also, casting doesn't work. Also if you tab over to something else it is bad at keeping the session going. Usually it has to reload everything each time, even if you are tabbed for a very short time.

Casting is so infuriating with this app. Sometimes it plays a couple videos fine then i get that stupid waiting for the lecture screen. Once that happens it seems like no other video will load except for the one that worked before the error. Also their playback controls suck. No consistency

Meets basic needs but videos are often hung by simply going backward and forward. The video I tried to watch was not possible to actually do on my local machine and the external website used by the trainer was often not accessible, so apparently there is no review process for actual ability to perform the trained acrions.

Login process for library users is convoluted and often unsuccessful. Makes you log in nearly every time you open the app which almost negates the convenience of having an app... Features and functionality when you are actually logged in are just ok. Seems like browsing/searching should work better for how few features there are. Ultimately does what it's supposed to if you can log in.

Wierd App: It doesn't consider the chapters watched from the downloads, you need to go through them again online to get the certificate. Also, it is impossible to get back to online app if you have watched anything from downloads for an hour or so, you need to clear the downloaded content to make app work again. And, it tries to look for network even if the downloaded content is available, hence you are forced to turn off network if you have a poor connection and want to watch from downloads.

I think this is a great app.. when it works. I have access through an organization and for the life of me I cannot get my credentials to say logged in longer than a few hours at most. It's hit or miss and mostly a miss. Most of the time, the app takes me to the website where I log in and access the lessons through there. Sometimes it will load the lessons in the app but if I pause, I get logged out. Not sure if this is an organization problem or an application problem. Would still recommend!

Udemy itself is great but this app buffers so much it makes it difficult. I can't use it away from home at all because without my wifi it only plays a few seconds at a time. It's crashed a few times and randomly skips forward a lesson so I can't listen while doing something else. It also provided no help or process other than a download notification when I tried to listen offline, so I wasn't able to figure it out.

This app is terrible. Videos will stop loading in the middle of a course and will just get the spinning circle icon. When I close the app completely and try to load the app from scratch, the app itself won't even load (spinning circle that never goes away). I get the same thing when trying wifi and mobile data. What's the point of making a mobile app if it doesn't even work? You'll be better off just taking the courses on a laptop if you're on the go.

It works, sometimes. It's a bit slow and needs to be force quit a lot due to getting stuck loading. The more frustrating thing is that it uses a very nonstandard video player that does not hide the play controls automatically when tapped and does not automatically go into picture in picture mode. Why reinvent the wheel? The developers should have just used standard video players and behaviors.

Good content, terrible download speeds. I can usually find a decent entry level course for whatever I am looking for. Advanced content taught effectively is not always as easy to find. The ability to download a course is great but the terrible speed it downloads (even over really fast broadband) is prohibitive to being able to easily plan content for travel legs of a trip etc because it takes days or longer to download. Please get a better CDN.

App is garbage, I've downloaded an entire lesson from the app for watching when I am underground traveling on a tram. Yet, the program just wastes my time by keep loading and loading like it is searching for signal. When It works for the same scenario, I put it into full screen. The video would play with a circle in the middle that resembles the loading. So, as I am studying and watching the video, the circling circle just keeps running in the middle.

Casting to Chromecast doesn't work. It just says "waiting for course" forever. I stopped the cast and it started playing on the phone but had no way to control it. I had to force close the app to make it stop. The app is still terrible. It will only play the first chapter over and over. I guess that is a small improvement over never playing anything

I love the app when it works! However, sometimes when I open the app or a course it shows the progress indicator forever. I have to go offline to watch a downloaded course 😞 - all the course info is already on my device, but the app seems to make network requests synchronously and block the UI. Make them asynchronous or make them time out and switch to asynchronous after a few seconds! Circuit-breaker...

Edit: I submitted a ticket and it's resolved. It keeps skipping videos while casting to TV. Tried taking a React course. Of course I want to watch this on my 85" TV. The first video loaded correctly, but then it skipped to the 6th course. If I stopped casting and continued on my phone screen, it would work. There's no way I'm watching a 20 hour course on my tiny screen. Also when a video does play on my TV, the title bar is always visible and thus blocks 1/3 of the screen. Please fix asap.

Want this to be a 5 star app? Make this Android Auto capable, and don't require the user to have to unlock and click on the next video, and bypass the quiz if the device is locked/screen is off. Yes, they are videos, but listening to them on my commute to and from work gets you into the course, and unless the course is very visual, you get >80% of the material. Watch it again, skipping through the easy parts, and you have reviewed the material twice, in two different ways.

Edit: I was having issues with the app not loading. I cleared the app cache and data and now it's working like a charm. The app worked great for the first two days. Now I can't get it to load any of my courses. It's really unfortunate because the app makes learning so convenient, bit I've just been staring at a loading screen all day. I hope they can get this worked out.

The site is experiencing some difficulties. Please check again in a few minutes. (this message happens far too often - even when the network status is green) Single sign on with Microsoft frequently ends up in an infinite loop if you are logging back in (your session has expired). You have to uninstall and reinstall in order to get back into the application.
