Update After returning to 2do a year on, doesnt sync with my Mac at all. Reducing to 1 star Syncing feature is delayed/doesn't work. Charge you ~£5 as it's a pro feature to sync android and Mac via dropbox (which is the only way this works). So pretty annoying I can't trust my phone list to be upto date, or when I add something with my phone, never sure if it'll be there on my mac. Have run tests by manually syncing (even though it's set up to autosync) but never seem to be in sync

Pretty damn good app. Lots of flexibility and well presented. Would like to see some kind of section creation withing projects to split them up and be able to highlight certain lines. Also can't seem to have a checklist within a project and then also have subchecklists within them!? Still great and clearly a well looked after and supported/thought about app.

This is, by far, my favorite app. It has helped me tremendously to get organized. Definitely check out the tutorial vids. There aren't many button descriptions which is great once you know how it works but hides lots of features if you don't take the time to go through the tutorials. The only serious downside that could convince me to switch to another app is the lack of an pc based interface. Everything needs to be done in the app which can be cumbersome and inefficient at times.

Very cool app w/ nice interface and a ton of useful functions. I love the adjustability and especially the projects. The only thing that bugs me is the lack of a corresponding windows app (promised to be worked on since 2018...). I'm considering switching to another app because of this. Please, dev, make this a priority, since it's an important feature and it concerns a lot of people.

It has good ideas, but I have concerns: A review that I gave a few years ago indicating some performance issues got a worryingly complacent reply that continually using 1% of CPU capacity *when running in the background* was "not much." After some time using another platform, I'm looking at this again, and I have to say, it does what I want ... but it has no dark theme!! These have been supported by Google for so long now that I have to reduce the rating, and unfortunately can't use it.

It's an ok app. Biggest drawbacks are: lack of multiple snooze times on reminder and cannot differentiate between a recurring and non-recurring reminder. Communicated these features to developer but still not in the app. Also, there is no reminder pop up that stays on until I take action to snooze or dismiss.

I have used and paid for every pro version of every major task app that exists. I run my life with 2Do. If it didn't exist Todoist Pro would be the best I've seen. But I do read the tutorials, I do follow the prompts, I do use it 50 times a day. I have used every version since it came out and I have spent my life in software programming. There is nothing better for an individual user. If you run tasks for a large team or if you find tic tac toe challenging use another app. Best wishes...

Very nice and organized for a GTD system. NEEDS a dark mode, or at least some color customization. Beyond that, some of the menu options are unintuitive, like having a dedicated group select button. Either rethink or add addl. help section for these. (by default, long press could show a tooltip?)

This app would be perfect if I could individually customize the snooze for each task... So for example, put garbage out, if I'm not home I don't want that reminding me in 5 minutes, maybe two hours or tomorrow is better. also if I'm on a list screen and add a new task, I want it added to THAT list, not the default one.

I've tried them all. This is, hands down, my choice for years now. Not two weeks and wrote a review. Nearly a decade now. Ported from phone to phone, and Mac to Mac, as the years roll on. Solid, malleable, and logical. If you follow Getting Things Done - GTD, a critical component is a trusted system. This is my trusted system. Built by an individual. Not a committee. One person, who thought it all through, then executed phenomenally. Nice to see this happen in the world. Very nice. Thanks.

I have used 2do heavily and daily on Mac and Android for over 3.5 years. I love it. About 4 years ago I found myself extremely busy at work and at home and started GTD to get through it. I tried Tick Tick (free) but didn't want to pay for a subscription for features I needed, which rules out many other apps. Omnifocus is Mac/iOS-only. I doubt I'll ever switch away from 2do. One-time purchase, free Dropbox sync, lots of versatile features. Perfect for me. 2023 Update: still loving it.

No direct feedback option. Cannot make an arbitrary hierarchy of checklists within a checklist. This is how life actually is. No graphical tree to quickly find subtasks of things needing to be done. No way to mark checklist items to add to a shopping list. Better than many to do checklists, but needs further development to be broadly useful.

Over the years, it's been the one that has done me right. Got several widgets with recurring tasks like bills. Easy check off as I go through each item. It's been my secret weapon that got me ahead. Takes some setup to get it right, aka, little learning curve to use it more intelligently, but after that it'll blow away any other one. Worth it.

I want to use this app, but without a windows option to do the majority of my entries and editing I keep looking for other options (when I'd rather stay with 2do). I would be happy to pay another one-time fee since it's a different platform. ALSO, if it's possible, please move the "things to do today" in the pull down notification from the bottom to the top. At the bottom it's out of site, out of mind. At the top I am reminded of what I need to do, which is the whole point of this, right? TY!

So far I'm finding this app really useful. I did the premium version pretty early on and I haven't regretted it. The only thing I have tried to do that I can't find is a recurring task, which is really more like a habit tracker functionality. Don't feel like going all out with that, just need to remember to make a smoothie a few times a week so I don't have heart failure

Super app. it is what organizes our life. Update: I continue to use 2do on a variety of devices, including two MacBook pros, one iPhone, and one Android phone. The syncing is very reliable, the backup is available if necessary, and it is easy to use. it is a very definite part of my life. I happily give it 5 stars.

Surprisingly powerful and flexible. Does not force you into any one way of sorting or viewing your stuff. Impressive regarding how much it lets you do without overwhelming you in terms of the UI. Features like markdown support, CSV export, and syncing to Dropbox and other cloud services put this in the professional League. This is a mature product that nonetheless remains true to a coherent design vision, rather than being a mishmash of conflicting features. Well done.

Awesome well-polished interface and happy with everything except that I think sound notification needs some refinement. I do want alerts to nag me, which it does, however there is no good way to stop the nagging without completing the task. Even if you change the alert time it still nags. Sometimes i realize i set the wrong time initially or just want to push a task off for an hour. Only way to stop the nags is to complete the task and then dig through the completed tasks and uncomplete it.

GREAT App!! It's a complete joy to use. There are a wide range of planners focusing from bottom-up, GTD-centric approaches to top-down roles-and-goals apps. In my experience feature rich products seem to go too far top-down or bottom-up for everyday use, so I end up using a small core set of functions which is common to most apps. This app is different, ...better. 2Do has a matrix approach which handles priorities, dates, tags and projects in a way that lets you interact with your tasks as if you were using either a top-down or bottom-up app. I find it to be efficient and the right balance for me. I'm using most, if not all the features on a regular basis and it helps me capture the tasks as they occur and really get things done. One quick example is that I use tags for "Contexts" as in GTD (e.g. @Home, @Work, @DriveHome, @Weekends) Summary: Buy the app now. It is full featured, beautiful, effective, flexible and has a future.

Easy to use & effective way to organize tasks. I make different categories - work, home, school - then pop in tasks or lists. Easy to add things on the go. Love the reminder and due date features. The reminders pop up on my notifications. So, you can set them to come up first thing or at the time you need to do them. So it can work as a task list or even an appointment reminder.. Love that it lives on my phone - no connection needed. Great app!
