Depending on your phone, memory, and learning how this app responds on YOUR phone, this could be a great little app for you. I often have to re-record the 1st video/audio to get it to line up with the rest of the recording, and I have to regularly delete old projects and alternate takes to free up space, but overall, this is a great app that I really enjoy using!!

The only purpose for this app is to record yourself doing/playing things over multiple videos at the same time. I tried to do many music videos involving very precise aural timing and because the audio doesn't sync correctly, all my time and effort went out the window on many occasions. So in other words...this app doesn't follow the basic purpose it was created for. Why would this app ever automatically sync audio if we didn't ask for it? The world may never know.

Absolutely useless. For any app that's meant to record multiple audio or video tracks, synchronization is one of the most CRITICAL things. This garbage app cannot sync the audio of even just two recordings, rendering it completely useless. It also takes way too long to process video recordings, even ones that are only 60 seconds long. Waste of storage space and waste of time if you record with it. I would give the app ZERO stars if possible.

Concept: Great Does it work?: Not really Sound quality is good, but I just spent 3 hours trying to sync up my videos but I never could. Being a musician and trying to play everything a second behind or ahead is impossible. I just go back to playing along with the original recordings and because of that it doesn't sync up. I even payed the $3 so I can get more voices and longer duration but it doesnt seem worth it since I can't even get my videos to match. Fix ASAP please.

Probably the best one I've tried so far for multi vids but I really don't know why all these apps require you to be a producer. I have yet to try one where you can just record 1 track while listening to another and layer multi tracks/videos easily. These apps all try to be too smart and try to sync the audio for me and stuff like that and it always offsets the sound. If you are looking to do multitrack music pieces and have little or no production experience, you'll have to learn.

Sucks on Androids apparently, but they gave no warning of this *known* issue. None of the videos audio ever sync up together. Sometimes it glitches and does sync up right. I paid for the full version before exploring too much because the audio quality on this app is superb. After reading through the reviews, I found a workaround to the sync problem. If you record one audio to listen to the entire time, it doesn't try to auto-adjust the delays (which it always makes worse). Great app otherwise.

I would love to see this app expanded with audio enhancement like reverb and a small band eq. This would go a long way. I would also like to be able to delete 1st video without losing the whole thing should I decide to reduce from 3 tracks to 2 etc. In general this is a fun app, but it lags far behind the official one . It is time to upgrade this app past its basic capabilities.

Horrible! There is no way that I can see to properly sync up the videos in the collage, even with the so-called "auto-sync" feature. The pre-listen feature always starts the first recording, then the second about half a second later, and so on, so the videos in the collage never play at the exact same time. Also, if you listen to an audio recording to sing along to, it gets recorded into the video as well, so with every video made, the audio recording keeps duplicating, creating a mess of voice.

It's fine over all. But often times when I create, it doesn't synch. And it's not convenient that you cannot re-do it. (Or am I not understanding the app well?). This is very frustrating. I have do it all over again from scratch. It's also not convenient that you cannot save a project in the middle of the process. 07042020 update.... Now it stopped syncing all together. It's frustrating when you won't know if it synchs or not until you finalize it, and cannot undo and redo it.

If I start all tracks and end at the same time, it was aligned. It took multiple trials. Adds were annoying, so I paid for the full version. I have recorded and made three videos. Now, I am getting an add at the beginning and sometimes more. My sound is recorded for 2 seconds and then it is silent. I tried to record video and my screen was blank. I deleted all old recordings and restarted. Video worked but not the recording. I will try airplane mode. I wanted to give a good rating, but not.

I have the paid version and am very disappointed. The audio mixing is extremely off. The videos are mirrored. If I have a video already recorded outside of the app, I can't add it into the collage. All the videos have to be created in the collage. Not very useful when I'm trying to record a trombone quintet and the audio mixing is horrible and I can't add in pre-recorded videos. I can't save my projects either. Sometimes it takes days to record a quintet. No way to collaborate w/ other musicians

This app is garbage. It fails at doing the one thing it's supposed to do: let you record multiple tracks of yourself singing. You record one track, then it "calibrates" (whatever that's supposed to be doing), then you listen to the first track while recording the second. But they don't record in sync'd time. There's a half-second delay and there's no way to manually adjust it. Worthless.

I originally gave this product a 4-star review. I'm now downgrading it to 1-star. After using it for a few days, I now realize how truly buggy it is. When listening to previous tracks while recording, I found that the tracks will not synchronize. As a workaround, you could prerecord or play an audio file for a background track. But after a few times, the software would stop recording a track after a few seconds. When opening an audio file, sometimes it won't open at all. Finally, there is no option to save a project. Save your money and skip this product. I'm glad I'm only out about $3.

I love this app. However, my only complaint is that with each new vocal trac you record, the volume of your recording gets lower and lower. So by the time you get the finished product, the volume is very low and hard to hear. Also, you can't hear all the harmonies you've already recorded, while you record new harmonies I real time. It would be very helpful if you could do that, because it would help you to maintain better pitch. Otherwise, the app is amazing!!!

This has the potential to be a great app but simple features don't work sometimes: - adding music from your own library crashes the app. If the app doesn't crash, it won't recognize your file (mp3 or wav) - the "adjusting for delay" is automatic and actually makes it WORSE. It would be great if we had the option to turn that feature off. - There's still latency between the tracks in the final product, making it difficult to pull off anything rhythmically impressive

This app would be exactly what I'm looking for, but I've never had it successfully time align two videos so they were in sync. Not even once. yes I did the calibration in a quiet room. Other than that, the layout is good, etc. I would definitely pay for the full version if A)the sync function worked, or B) I at least had the option to manually time align the clips.

Perfectly adequate, once you figure everything out. It's technically the best app I've found of its kind, but technically it's also not very good. Once you figure out all the solutions to the problems that come up it becomes a perfectly functional app. For example, when it won't start recording, restart the app; if it won't replace old takes, delete them in files; choose to listen to one audio track when recording, as the alternative will traumatize you; when you give up, delete the app, etc.

I tried it on a Motorola Z (Android), and you don't really get any options other than what they list. You cannot set volume levels. You cannot synch without a reference track playing on earphones Basically, you have to record the lead louder, back off on harmonies and backing vocals, you can only review all of the tracks mixed (audio only) that you've recorded to that point (you can't subtract any from any review), and then you can choose a border. Free version allows you to record up to 1 minute. $3.99 for premium, which allows you to record up to 10 minutes. It's good for practice, it's a little shaky for performances.

As a musician, this app is a great way to keep it up when you don't have a lot going on. The app itself mostly works fine. Syncing isn't always super accurate, but as long as you close other apps and put the phone in airplane mode, it's much more manageable. The app needs a click track, and not to get super buzzy when the volume is toggled (recording tends to come out very soft). Edit: two updates this month after almost seven years?! 😍

not a good app. videos don't sync up and it's frankly poor design of an A CAPPELLA app that you can't listen to the audio from the other videos as you record so you can't effectively stack vocals and check for blend until the video is complete. and no way to edit or alter the prerecorded base track (not even to change the volume??? lame) once you start recording a video without just deleting the whole project. definitely needs some more work, i really don't know why its rated so high.
