Used to enjoy game..then noticed the scoring is messed up for example I bid nil took 1 but game took 103 points off. Several times I emailed Concrete..was asked to send screen shot, was told scoring would be corrected when update came out. Scoring continued to be wrong, when I asked when update was coming I was told there was no update planned. Frustrating.

Am on the fence about this app, so I'm probably going to delete it. Not sure if some of the AI characters are supposed to make boneheaded moves to force you to more strategic in your playing or if they're supposed to mimic real the world experience of being at a party and playing with people of varying skills. Nevertheless, some of plays and bets are completely boneheaded (i.e., betting Blind when you haven't seen other other players' bets, or Nil when you're holding 5 spades

After the "update" with all those limitations added, the game became less friendly and more boring. Besides, it started to freeze constantly, forcing you to restart, sometimes even 2-3 times in a single game. I've been reading the replies saying, "I'm sorry you didn't like the new version." But seriously, what's there to like?

I changed the rating 3 1/2. The negative thing about it, you cannot bypass the commercials. Sometimes you don't even get through a hand and add pop on their. Or in between and the add cannot be skipped. I hate that. Why did they change that. I could put the 1/2 maybe you can. Thank you

Downgraded to one star after the horrendous update. They took a great app and made it trash, then I have to deal with the annoying ads, although I paid for the original game. I could not turn off the sound so I have turned the phone sound off to play. I now use my old phone to play the original game. (in airplane mode so they can't force the update). Another issue I have with the game is when I bid Nil or Blind Nil, my opponents instantly know what suits I'm weak in and mercilessly attack them

I loved this app and played it religiously until the latest update. Being freaking nosey and wanting to connect to my Google account and needing my year of birth is bologna. Yes, you have the opt out in settings, but then it's too late. The playing area is now smaller. I've had this app for years, until now. I'm uninstalling. I hate when good apps mess stuff up!!

AI is frustrating. Started out fun, but then it gets where you rarely get dealt a decent hand, (which you can pay for a re-deal with coins) the AI partner is unable to cover the easiest of Nil hands, such as leading with a really low lead card, and the frustration just keeps mounting as you progress. It begins to feel more like a "pay to win" situation.

This game is nice but I wish I could see several updates. It be great to see score history, a practice mode with a undo button, statistics on games history (losses, wins, average number of bags, foreits, ect. ) and brief descriptionsof each game mode. Also, the logic behind the AI partners could be improved.

i would of gave it more but to many ads. its one after every hand plus of my lookout thus game came up as a threat and was told to delete it because of the ads and some may lead to hidden charges on my account. to bad i cant post the picture from my phone but i really like this game to. oh yeah they cheat when you are winning all the time lol. ok no problem to pay but the app was fine with the little bit of ads that it did have before and it was alot then but it wasnt after every hand we play.

You need to figure out how to make the players bid close to what they're taking. Update: been playing this game for years. It is the best spades game out there. But there are still some things that need addressed. Bidding still needs addressed. It really inconsistent. Wish I could load my screenshot of a royal flush in spades and the game recommending a bid of 3. And now with the latest update my partners are throwing spades on tricks they were mine and then leading with a lower spade.

I have been playing this game for a very long time. It was a fun. However, something has changed lately. Thats why i give you 4 star. the ads are popping up while playing in a deck. it was popped in every new deal but it is too much frequent now. I have not any issue if the ads popping up in every new deal. it was normal because ads help you to improve. however, it is now too much frequent. Even i cannot close the window of ads while playing. Fix the issue and i will change the rating

Well they changed it. It was major but not in how you play. The characters and the game basically stay the same. The number of options have changed. If you didn't know they had them before, you wouldn't miss them. I do. Too bad

had this on my old phone- it was great. plain straightforward game that was fun. liked it so much I paid for ad free. have a new phone and imagine my disdain when I saw all the extra, busy stuff in this game. too bad as this was the best one out there. sad about it. 😕 UPDATE: AT LEAST THEIR HEARTS GAME STAYED. UPDATE: TRYING AGAIN. OK BUT NOT AS GOOD AS HEARTS. WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO GET RID OF THE CHALLENGE POP-UP. AND SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERY REDEAL. NOPE, UNINSTALLING

I am very unhappy with this "update"(?????) Settings are missing...a lot of the settings. No nil options as an example. Can't pass cards for a blind nil as an example. Gee, that's great fun. The issue of the overly gigantic "broken spades splash" remains. Only difference I see is the reinstatement of a previous "update" where despite having purchased the game before the"update," I again have to watch ads to continue playing after a few games. That's when move on.

Bring back the original. The update made the play area more crowded and difficult to navigate. The card faces are gaudy and it's impossible to change them. The giant and annoying animation to let you know spades are broken is overkill. The new features are simply overkill for a game that is fun to play just as it was. Spades is spades -- a simple trick based game that is challenging to play well without all the bells and whistles. If I could have awarded it no stars at all I would have.

I've given this so-called upgrade a fair amount of time, to get accustomed to the changes. It's no longer fun to play, I hate the exaggerated screen blast that 'Spades have been broken', I'm not even able to see what spade was played. The difficulties added to make this game harder to win, lead to me having to pay. I didn't have to pay or watch ads before. Your 'upgrades' suck!

I would give 5 stars except for 2 points. First, the game is constantly freezing and locking up my phone. Secondly, the computer bidding is a hot mess; for example, my partner bid 4 even though they had the top 10 spades. I am playing on the most difficult setting, so I would think the computer players would be better players. Other than that, I love the game!
