All the same problems described by others recently. I can log in the the app just fine, but it never connects to the alarm, requiring me to manually arm and disarm at the panel. The app is up to date, and this happens whether I am on wifi or cellular. If the developer still asks what the problem is, we know they aren't actually reading the reviews, just auto replying to low scores.

Stock Samsung Galaxy s8+ here. The app tells me there is a security issue (like so many others are seeing) and will not launch... This needs to get fixed or we're dropping the contract that includes the pulse feature. Two years later, still the same issue, and no attempt has been made to fix it. Simply horrible 'support'.

It WAS working correctly. If I get a message, the camera goes to motion, I'll try to look at the video recording. All it says is that I can't play video recording. I'm not sure what happened. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It says the same thing?? It's just the phone app because it works fine on my tablet. The app doesn't let you log in to it? There is always an issue with ADT!! It keeps telling me to try back later.

I completely agree with the most recent comments, except the one that regrets using ADT. I've had it for many years and I've always been happy with ADT, and have no trouble accessing it on my desktop computer. My 2 stars are regarding the app. It used to work very well but now it has become sluggish and takes way too long for my live cameras to come up. This is a fairly recent issue (this year) that I have not experienced in the past.

App used to work fairly well. Nothing special about it. Now, it does not connect rendering it completely useless. The point of the app was to be able to connect and disconnect remotely and now we cannot do that. In response to the developer's request for more information: the app does not connect with the system. On the dashboard, it says it is "connecting" and stays grayed out instead of showing the alarm status. As a result, I cannot arm or disarm the alarm.

So I contacted Pulse. Come to find out my doorbell had stopped working for months now. looks like someone tampered with it. I was to my understanding that in the event this should happen the alarm would go off (it didn't). second I was told that the doorbell had a battery in it that needed to be charged we weren't told that when it was installed. Also, the agent said we needed to plug it in every 2-3 months. Had I know that I would have never swapped out a hardwired doorbell for a dumbbell!

I don't know how this gets a 4.5 review. It's the dumbest app possible. Takes 30 minutes to connect. Had this same problem a year ago. When called the number I ended up being conned into a 2 year renewa,l and it worked fine until recently. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it's still a piece of junk. If I could I would get rid of it and go with a more reliable company.

I find the app very slow and cumbersome to navigate. The video doorbell feature is useless if you want to talk to someone at your door. Why? Because by the time you get the notification that someone rang the doorbell, open the app, wait for it to connect to the camera, press the talk button, the person has long since walked away. This is not what I expected when I had ADT install the cameras. If you already have the app up and running at the time of the even, it works satisfactorily.

The app indicates that my front door isn't locked while I'm away, using mobile data. When I tap on the icon to lock it, I get a message stating " Unable to change front door lock. Pending operation expired. Try again later. " I asked someone to check my door. They confirmed that it's locked. Opens/closes easily on home WiFi. One time, I called ADT. They confirmed that the door was locked yet the app still showed it as unlocked. This is concerning and can cause some to worry.

I had this app for 6 years without problems. For the last 2 months I'm having issues. First, my sensors are showing unknown, however I'm still able to set the alarm. Second my front camera motion is failing. No motion. What's going on with this app?It went from great 👍 to👎. Please fix these issues quickly. The app is terrible at this time.

ADT IS A SCAM. Even their slogan is proof "feel safe"... They don't monitor the system.. many times we've set the alarm off just to test and we don't get a call. This app doesn't sync w the home system in realtime, there is substantial lag (up to 10 minutes) we've tried contacting customer care several times and a tech coming out, the app and system has a rediculous lag. I can't wait to cancel our service after the contract period.

Does not work with Samsung phones. Because of the extra layer of security on Samsung devices the ADT app sees it as a "modified" or "rooted" phone and will not let you use the app at all. I've had the app for almost a year now in hopes they would update it but it still doesn't work. Update: 9/6/2019 This app still will not work on a brand new phone that has also never been jailbroken. This is just a horribly built app. I highly recommend the mobile website over the app.

Lagging and not recognizing mylogin info. It's lagging for 10+ minutes, so I have to use the pulse portal website. I've called customer service twice. First rep said the issue was with my 3-yr system that is "outdated", while the second rep suggested deleting and reinstalling. That was a mistake because now the app isn't recognizing the same credentials I used to log on to the website. I've even copied and pasted with no success. Surprisingly, the failed attempts are visibly on the login log.

system too slow and loses connections to much. im new to this system and I absolutely hate it. only 30 seconds of recording on 2 cameras. how is this helpful. misses a lot of important events. starting to hate adt after being a customer for over 10 years. I also have the Alexa Pulse and this thing makes no sense. it sucks. im ready to change providers.

Most of the time stuck on connecting. Support said I need a whole new system. I moved the keypad to the best cellular reception area in my house and connecting was much better for months. Now it's crashed, and neither me nor my wife can connect at all. Support is so lacking in intelligence and technical knowledge that its just so frustrating to speak with them. The techs that have come out are clueless. If there's ANYONE who can resolve issues, please contact me. Extremely poor support.

App went from bad to worst. Constant connection issues, 9 times out of 10 I have to manually arm/disarm. Forget having reliable camera monitoring and recording. Having to reset the gateway every day is ridiculous. Tired of calling tech support, I can see why the hold times are through the roof. Long time customer is getting to the end of the rope here.

Edit. It's 2024. The app still sucks. They have I'm sorry, but can I give negative stars to this app? What is the one thing that you need the app to do? Connect to the alarm system. What does this app do? It displays a lovely grey box and says "Connecting" for 2-5 minutes before it actually connects. Enabling voice command is better. Bypass the stupid app. 2022 - Now the app logs you out randomly. Cameras are still slow. Connecting to panel is still slow. I thought Cox was bad. ADT is worse.
