Asinine! no way to refresh/restore a download link/address that has gone dead before download was completed so you have to start over hoping that the link doesn't expire b4 your done. Might as well throw your expensive data and your money out the window. Update: another overdue bug fix is the long term & persistent "ssl certificate error" syndrome wherein ADM incapability to handle https which causes a 50% download failure rate. Google " ADM ssl certificate error "

App used to work quite well, but there was a change with the recent update where it changed my default destination folders, and I can't completely change them back. It shows the Downloads and Documents folders as the only options on the root of the phone partition. Was able to work around this for direct DLs by accessing the SD-CARD option (which opens the full access folder/file picker) and changing partitions, but not for torrents, as SD-CARD only opens a system folder in the selection pop-up.

Very helpful app for managing direct downloads.. Not sure if this is due to Chrome, but ADM does not intercept the url from chrome anymore.. I had to add it manually in ADM after copying the URL from chrome.. Dev suggested to use their internal browser, and it works fine there. Will try to get used to using ADM browser instead for my downloads then. Thanks! 🤘😀

What? It used to worked perfectly but with the recent updates it's just too broken. When I press Exit, it doesn't do anything and app stays open. It changes default destination folder randomly and some files can't be downloaded because it can't write files even though I have given it total access to my storage. 1 star because it still downloads most files without issues but seriously update your app.

A few glitches but aside from that I'm very happy with this app. I'm back to edit my rating! If I could only give it more stars, Great job on this app guys or gal's !!!!! Upon using the app for a few years now 11 to be exact, I only wish there was a way to search and download subtitles within the ADM app itself. Ive downloaded several movies and later go to play them, most of the movies have a message"file not found". Hopefully they will add subs and fix the downloaded issues disappearing files.

This app runs in the background, and keeps coming on, even if you close the app manually in settings. My phone got less than half the battery time on one charge than it did before. I went from a 39% charge to a 3% charge in a single bus ride for 10 minutes, and the phone shut down. Deleting the app allowed my phone to function correctly. Who cares if the app makes downloads faster, if your phone runs out of battery to complete the download.

I agree a lot of work probably went into this You should add a tutorial. It was just an array of confusion to me. WoW, I just wanted to capture some video. I couldn't set the download folders to my choice. can't write to file. if you get a link from the adm browser can't leave it open to add to the queue and download. no choice of streams. why not in the adm browser with smart download on pop up an add to queue with stream choice (quality)? get it popular by making it easy for dummies

Has alot of potential. Looks like alot of work put into this but 2 twerks for me (so far anyway): 1.) almost all of the buttons on the UI are missing labels except two so I'm wondering if they're going to have labels in the future or if they will be like most of the other unfriendly apps today that require you to just figure out what they do by pressing them and 2.) when going into file explorer to transfer files to your computer, there's no way to tell if the files were completed or not

I don't do reviews but man, I needed to do this one to express how much I love this app. I have always tried to download things with my normal browser and then pum the connection was lost or and error has occurred, that made me so angry becuase I always lost what I had. BUT WITH THIS APP, you don't lose the progress. If the internet fails or stops working, the downloads stops and continues when the internet connection is available. Is the best of the best!

Great app! Really great! Very useful features and easy to use features. Can make it as complicated or simple as you'd like it to be. It also works for a variety of file types and it does not utilize a ton of space or have invasive lagging. It has a simple UI, but don't judge off what you see the first time you use this app. You won't find one as good in the app store. 👍👍👍👍👍

This app doesn't recognize that you've purchased the pro version previously. Making you pay twice if you just got a new device, or needed to factory reset your existing device. Aside from that the app forces me to share links directly to it rather than recognizing downloadable files. This default download manager feature worked well previously, but a recent update has broken this. There's also no support.

Media sniffer (intercept) on browser is gone!!! Super pi🤬ed, I have the paid version and have sent several emails reporting this issue, not once I have received a response from the developer. This is such a useful app once all the settings have been customised properly yet this issue renders it almost utterly useless. The interceptor completely disappear from the browser after the last update 2 weeks ago. Please fix so it can be re rated back to 5 stars.

This is the one your looking for...just so you know. Supports pause/resume (even through reboots and moving between different types of connections) Segmented downloader for multiple threads. It works, its good at what it does, and its simple. *Attention* Support team. I would like to see an option to add "open in editor" to the drop down menus. Both links and text menus please. Ill second the need for a desktop app. Also a cloud version that can connect to desktop/mobile apps. Native and cloud!

I don't understand what (also don't know the correct term) browser embedded video player is and why ADM can't, uhh, intercept those videos lol. Other than that, ADM is excellent. Adds aren't that bad, imo. It's like, one constant banner in the home page of the app. Browser uses adblock. The in-app purchases is just a solo button under options to disable adds. $1.99 usd. Fantastic 👏

I was using this download manager for the past few years and everything has been great, but as of lately, I have stopped using it. Reason being, for some odd reason, my queue list as well as the finished list completely disappeared. I could still add and download files, but the lists were empty like nothing was there. After attempting to reinstall to see if that might fix the issue, I was faced with a new issue of "operation not permitted" when attempting to download files. If the developer can acknowledge the current bugs and have them fixed, I will go back to using ADM. Until then, I will find another download manager to use.

This app was recommended to me, and I didn't bother looking further because this one does the job efficiently and accurately. The wide variety of options allow a person to set everything precisely as desired once. Then simply paste the URL (or browse to it) of the target media in the built-in browser, click start, and trust that the what/when/how fast/where stored is taken care of. It's a shame the pro version is no longer available (too good for it's own good?), but a few out-of-the-way ads don'

Note, for the people saying the app stops with the screen off, add the app to the exception... not optimize app list, allow background data transfer. Great app, it just does what is mentioned on the description, no strange or suspicious connections. I have a firewall, real time firewall, and this app doesn't creates suspicious connections. The app works great, the developer has only this app, would like to see more apps on the future or a Pro version without ads... a pay option app without ads.

This is the perfect download manager for android! It's has tons of additional features while being efficient and reliable. P.S. If you have previously purchased ADM pro and can't access it anymore, all you have to do is contacting the dev via email. They'll give you a promo code for ADM (free version) which will remove the ads. It's quick and painless.

Something changed with app causing ads being shown. (legacy user?) Dev was prompt in resolving the issue. Yes people u gotta exclude app from power saving! (Many apps constantly run & shouldn't this is 4 reason especially large files.) Let's relearn how to use the app again. I've had it for years. Android aka Google tries to break these file management apps as much as possible. I realize you need change but it's been insane...

I love this app and install it on every device I own! I have used it for years and have used it for thousands of downloads. The built in browser takes all the worry out of free streaming sites. Sometimes the updates can be buggy or I lose the media sniffer when I change phones. I usually go online and download an older version to use instead. I recommend turning off auto updates once you find a version that works well with your phone. The pop up ad blocker is essential. 10 out of 10 recommended
