Samsung Galaxy S8: I can't even access this app. All I get are "Please come back soon; we're having technical errors" messages for the past couple of weeks every time I try to login. App is clunky and difficult to navigate; first sends me to Google Play store to download the same app I already have, then prompts for fingerprint scan which always fails, then asks for login and password that also fail. I can login on the website just fine. As of now this app is unusable and rife with bugs

Tried a lot of different ways and I CANNOT submit an online claim. It doesn't matter how small in size the picture is of the bill, it simply doesn't let me upload anything. Very frustrating. Update: Also their website is not working. Pdf, docx, jpeg or png, nothing works. My file (single sheet) is less than 20 kb, so I know for a fact I'm not hitting the 5mb threshold. It doesn't get more sketchy than this.

Made to intentionally be confusing and frustrating. Lack modern security login methods. They moved search features to make them more convoluted and confusing. They give you non-functional options. They'll tell you what their office phone number is but not what the office hours are and seeuing that's a 24-hour line but it's not because they fail to add context. They don't offer remediation methods to help address when you get errors or problems looking up prescription pricing or other related

Edit: Tried again about a week later and the app seemed to work. About as standard as health apps go. Wish I had the option to save my ID cards rather than just screenshotting but otherwise gives pretty good information about my plan and all. It's nice to be able to view both dental and vision plans in one place. OLD: Can't even open it on Pixel 3 / Android 10. Just a blank white screen.

Good start & looking forward to improvements. I use the app primarily to pay my bills. I like having them all in one place vs paying each provider separately. I would love to be able to save my credit card information in the app instead of reentering it each time and to see that zero balance is due when I have paid outside of the app. provider search doesn't include all primary care dr options. medical info needs more details (ex: one vaccine category is simply "vaccine". not super informative.

I've been using this app for a while, it was "usable" for a a good time. It was slow, sometimes unresponsive. But as of lately the app won't even load! Every time I open the app it get stuck on the green refresh arrow. I've cleared the cache/data, and uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. At this point I'm using the website, which is just as slow as the app.

I love the Aetna plans. Good health benefits and their rewards are great. I know next year's plans are of the charts with great benefits. Unfortunately their website is extremely slow and it literally activates my anxiety. It is so stressful. They really do need to update the system and make it more friendly and efficient. When it comes to customer service it's a 60/40 chance if that rep is in the mood to really assist.

I cant ever sign in anymore. A message comes up that says they are having technical issues and to come back later. But no matter when I come back the issue still persists. I've tried clearing cache, clearing data, reinstalling on multiple devices, same issue all around. After they updated the app, the format changed and nothing works. Unfortunately the app is completely useless for myself and many others experiencing the same problems. Go ahead and read the reviews to see what I mean.

Very easy to find providers--especially in-network labs which before the app, I had to always call Aetna. I like being able to pull up our cards online and see our deductible. Otherwise, I'm not sure what other features the app has to offer. It seems very basic. I thought (based on the introduction video Aetna has online) there would be a suite of different apps.

you made an all new and improved app that doesn't work. I had a nice, working app for a few months, ever since you made this "super app" or whatever you want to call it, the only thing that happens is it spins like it's uploading, but almost never does go anywhere. On the rare occasions that it does, after I sign in, I never get past seeing the swirly of the promised upload, but alas, nothing else happens, even if I wait a whole ten minutes. Would love to have a working app

Honestly a decent app. My questions were answered, and data was presented in an easy to understand fashion. However, I very much disliked the pop-up asking me to review the app. It was too aggressive, and suggestive. Selecting "dismiss" should prevent the pop-up from spawning again for at least ten minutes. Instead, the pop-up continues to pop-up every time you open the menu. Y'all can be less annoying.

limited visibility in the app, so you can't always do everything you need to. but that is Aetnas web experience too, they sacrifice function for pretty aesthetics. Everytime I open the app, it asks you if you want to enable fingerprint, so I enable it. and it never works, and just re-prompts me to see if I want to set it up. how bout making that preference stick??

very basic app with very little functionality, and obviously no one maintaining it. when searching for a walk-in clinic, which in and of itself requires a search, every result listed only uses one location's address. for example, if five locations are listed, any location you choose will only display one of those five locations address. same thing if you choose maps and directions. it's just a bad app.

I've had Aetna for 2 months now and never been able to get into the app. "Come back later. We're having technical issues" for two months?? How much longer are these technical issues going to last??? I've force stopped, I've reset my phone, I've Uninstalled and re installed the app. Nothing works. 9 months later and I still cannot get into this app no matter what I do.

I have deleted the app altogether. After entering my user name and password it would just freeze up, unable to do anything. I received an initial email from Rick ( with Aetna) inquiring about the issue. I responded to Rick but never heard anything back after that initial email. I sent them another email letting them know I was just deleting the app because it stopped working altogether with my Android. This app was a convenience that turned into a headache. So much for convenience.

This is probably one of the worst app experiences I've ever had. Creating an account is an absolute chore. If you want to redo everything many times over only to realize the app only works for select user, definitely give it a try. Horrible app and user experience. Best to do everything on your desktop computer. Even that will frustrate you.

This app is impossible to navigate, does not give you the full menu options, and has the worst search features. For example, primary care doctor is not one of the "quick care" options, and when you search for care the search bar doesn't register certain words to pull up related items ( type in therapist, but no counselors/mental health specialists show up, just literal therapists including physical therapists)...this app needs work. It has a long way to go before it is user friendly.

Always forgets fingerprint login information, it's a slow app, there is no easy way to copy the information of the providers to look for reviews outside of the app because they don't have reviews for all providers. The Web version is better, and you can actually copy text. I'd recommend that over the app, just be ready for pages to not remember your previous location.

I like how accessible the information I need is in the app; so much helpful info right at your fingertips. [Example: I had the insurance for less than a month & a dr wanted to send me for PT. I had no idea which places were covered. But with the app I was able to quickly look up which places near my house were covered, & that saved me a lot of hassle.] I'm thankful I have this tool. It's tiring & inconvenient to have to log in to a computer every time you need to look something up.

A fairly limited and clunky app. You are able to find providers, set health goals, view claims, and see total plan spending, along with a few other misc things. It is missing some key features. Some of the shortcomings of the app include the lack of a dark mode and the inability to pay providers for a claim in the app or on their site (this used to be available on their site). The app UI works but could be improved. A way to estimate the cost of care for health services would also be helpful.
