The app does not send the necessary code verification on the phone for someone to be able to login. So basically, you can't use the app.

worst app ever... doesn't work no matter what you try... website barely works too. not surprising considering Air China is a state owned airline with equally bad service.

i just spend $2000 on a ticket from an online agent. i want to verify the validity of the ticket, and you are making me download this app AND create an account just to do that? THIS IS NOT OK! NOT OK!

unfortunately, the app is very clunky, buggy and poorly built. the login set up needs a lot of work. feel like a college grad has built the app...

Never ride this Airline. Worst airline They damaged my entire luggage to the point i have to get a new one and I never get any compensation at all. Horrible customer experience.

Check in in all airlines is fast and efficient. In this app I needed first to create an account, and then I couldn't find my reservation because I got an error all the time. Then I started searching the Internet and found out that the surname must be first and then the given name, in order to find your ticket or else you get an error. Very slow and time consuming process. I almost spent half an hour for check in.

Completely useless if you cannot create an account - which it won't let us do. Tried 2 different phones - won't send verification codes to either.

Not user friendly to say the least. After checking in four passengers and choosing seats for all of them, the app turned black and I was redirected back to the homescreen. There was no confirmation whatsoever. I emailed an employee (good service!): it turns out 1 out of 4 passengers was not checked in. I returned to the app to fill out the information and it kept saying "oops, no trip for check in service for this passenger". Using the browser was not helpful either.

Every time you go out the app it resets everything. Ask for verification for everything, it has glitches all the time. Worst app ever

The app is very un-intuitive, even the most basic tasks are extremely cumbersome. The same goes for the website. And somehow the linkage between tickets bought on the website and the same account in the app doesn't work. Even though I'm logged into the app and on the website using the same account they just don't seem to accept that I'm actually authenticated for some functions (like managing my existing bookings).

I need a text message verification to do any operation, but I never receive any message. I tried with several numbers. And after 3 tentatives, I have to validate an endless amount of capchka. The website itelves is the worst airline's website experience I have ever had. I would like to meet the team who programmed these tools. I can't believe this is a national company. What a shame China

You can't book flights with this app. I have done everything, filled out every bit of information, changed ways of filling out my name, changed the order, and looked at videos of how to fill this out and nothing. If this is any indication of how this airline is, im glad I didn't book with them.... Check the 5 star reviews lol 90% look pretty much the same to me apparently it's wonderful and easy to use 🤣🤣🤣

The forms were glitchy and hard to fill out and then it proceeded to send the confirmation email for login to a typo version of my email. I corrected my email address and tried to get the confirmation email sent four times to no avail. When I messagged the trouble shooting chat, it was in chinese. I used the online booking on my computer and the website was slow and glitchy and I couldn't view or print my boarding pass...it has to be picked up at the airport but with no mention of where.

Installed app to claim EV (electronic voucher) for malfunctioned seat. Used the overseas option to make an account. Unable to verify email address as one will not seem to be sent by Air China servers. Tried all day to no avail. Seems to be the common issue amongst others. The app UI looks to be usable but I guess Ill never find out and will be missing out on a substantial EV. Too lazy to call them directly and deal with it.
