More About Airtel TV
All you need to enjoy the service is a registered Airtel SIM, a data enabled handset/device and an Airtel data bundle. Subscription to the service comes at no cost to the user. You can stream and watch as many movies, videos or TV programs as you want whenever and wherever as long as you have an active data plan.
Features of Airtel TV
• Data Saver Options: Select your preferred streaming quality to save your data. Go to 'Menu'>>'Settings'>>'Playback Quality’ and then select either low, medium or high quality and save.
• No subscription is required! However, data charges apply.
• Create a watch list that you can watch later.
• Access to a variety of genres such as Drama, Romance, Action, Comedy, Music, Faith/Religion, Health/Fitness, Kids and Documentaries.
• Browse through titles or search for your favorite movies, videos, channels by entering related fields such as Movie/TV Show title/Director/Actor/Channel name into the Search bar at the top of the page. Example: to search for “One Wish”, type in: “Fredrick Leonard” or “Lota Chukwu”.
• Movies are available in Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and English language.
• Regular newsletters to notify you of new releases
• Great content for your kids as well as for bonding with the family.
• Share videos with friends and family; click on the share button on the movie/show/video page and then select where you want to share and with whom.
• Lock screen option available
• Register with your mobile number to enable Airtel maintain your playback status and keep track of your subscription
• If for any reason you need to change your phone number or perform a sim swap or change mobile device, all you need to do is login to the app with the mobile number to continue enjoying the service.

How can I sign up to the service?
• Download the Airtel TV app from Google Play Store or Apple store and install it.
• Launch the app and click “Register”
• Enter your Registered Airtel Phone number and Email address and click “continue”
• Enter the 4 digit OTP received on your device then confirm.
• To complete your registration, go to your mail box and verify your email address by clicking the button “Verify Email Address”. You can also verify your email address later.
• Now you are all set to browse through the catalogue and stream any content or channel of your choice.

The Network is Extremely bad on the Airtel TV platform, secondly there's no wide range of movies to choose from. I mean there are numerous movies on the net but on your platform it's just a handful and worst is majority of the few movies available are wack. So rectify the network issue because the network only misbehaves on the Platform and upload more movies. Thank You. ✌

The app is 100% good, I realy enjoy watching live soccer on ZNBC TV1, also streaming videos, the only challenge is that: when using other network it says: please switch to airtel data to stream videos, it dont work on other work such as MTN, and ZAMTEL, and another issue is airtel Data is bit expensive, last time I bought data bundles worth of k50, I got disapointed, I used the bundles only in 2 days only, I thought it could have been better if the airtel were offering unlimited monthly bundles.

I downloaded the app, got the 3gb which is a really nice gesture, ended up watching a t.v. show (bakugan), only to find out that my actual data was what was been deducted, rather than the 3gb that was given. The 3gb only reduces when I'm browsing the library, but when I start watching a show, my actual data starts getting deducted.

The idea behind this app is great, but, really, App isn't easily detecting airtel line. Bogus and not user friendly in any way. I installed again, giving it a second thought, but will never have to even try that again. Edited: Finally, for a third time, I installed the app. Registered. The registration was cumbersome as the app didn't even recognise my contact as an airtel. That can be fixed please. I know of others with the same issues. I'm enjoying the app &may be back to give it a 5star

The app is cool and all with the fact that it's new but I still have to say can we get more of international shows, movies and all? Why does seasonal films have to start from season 2 instead of 1 it's really disappointing. I don't know the app has refused to let me watch movies it keeps say "aw something went wrong 101" I'm tired I just wasted my money recharging for this apps bundle this is the climax of my disappointment 🤦🏽♀️.

Pro: Great app and nice content. Local movies and shows available. Landscape mode when watching video. Ability to select new video while still watching. Data saving and different video resolutions. No subscription Wishlist : More local live tv channels, persistent landscape mode for tablets. Lower video resolutions. Data free periodic subscription with option for in-app download for offline watching. Ability to access local content.

Am really disappointed by this app. It used to function well and I used to catch up on missed programs before they would expire but now, the app loads like forever when I try to catch up and I have missed all these interesting programs. No error message is provided but just an empty screen, efforts to contact the support team have yielded no results as the problem still persists. Am thinking of uninstalling. Really disappointed 😔😔

No new movies or shows...it just keeps showing you same movies/shows even when you update the app. Please do something about that.

Failing to do basic things, you say i have reached the maximum of five devices, correct mayb3 but does the app check active devices? How about letting the user remove devices they dont use, does that require me to ask on support line? As a tech company your developers are supposed to be top notch.

Bad Experience... Airtel Keep sending me message to Download this App and i just did and now the are saying they have a technical issue i can't watch AFCON. Why did send message to people when your App is not ready

It's a great motivation indeed from Airtel and we're happy for bringing the TV channels in our hands how ever I would have rated 5 stars but there are some options on the app which are currently not working, for example it is impossible to change the video quality despite the option being there! I tried to change video quality for a certain live channel but it continues on the original quality...this is sucking our data pliz improve on that! And add more channels pliz! Atlist 20 more..

Very bad so far. It consumes a lot of data even when just browsing through the available contents. I checked my phone's settings but couldn't find any secret data-using app or settings ie. Auto-Sync, i also turned on data-saver in vain. But the contents are eye catching. What's wrong with the app or is it my phone with the Proclaim.

This app is the best so long as you have data on your phone you can watch everything you want in it without subscription. Those who are saying that it is not working should try it again.

I downloaded this app and was honestly quite disappointed. Mostly about the free data that comes with it. It barely works. It's like I was given the data with no true access to it. At first it actually did work though. For like a couple of minutes and I browsed to check but couldn't find any award winning movies like "sugar rush". Most of the ones I saw were low budget movies which honestly killed my interest. It would be nice if Airtel fixed this. Goodluck to you guys.

This app is total rubbish...just few hours after downloading the app it stopped working...it's not even connecting or anything...it's a total waste of time... Airtel needs to do better 😒

Terrible app😔I mean why do you guys not have the complete India series why put it there when there is just 8 episodes to watch its so annoying. I actually downloaded this app to I could enjoy those India series but I ended up so disappointed my excitement when I first saw my favorite and only to discover there was only 8 episodes to watch this app is useless

The most useless app I've ever used. Doesn't do what it says it does at all, was hoping to watch the semi finals with it but guess what, it didn't work, worst of all, I'd have to use only airtel connectivity to watch anything on it. RUBBISH!!!!!!!

Very disappointed! Thought i could find recent movies like battle on buka street and shanti town or some of the other recent movies but none was even close let alone trending. Mostly low budget movies. Wonder why I downloaded it in the first place. I'll just go for showmax or some other app. Waste of data.
