Screen design is not great especially the "payment" screen which is confusing and the layout is bad. Loading time when switching screens is too long. The home screen keeps showing "Email address is missing" but the Alight agent (after I opened a case) informed me the email is on file SO just ignore the alert message. You call this help ???!!! Tried contact again in the app they still couldn't offer any resolution. Can't you guys get it right? Terrible customer service.

Absolutely frustrating. Says use employer credentials, those don't work. Says recover password using security questions, proceeds to give 3 security questions, one of which I never selected (one with subjective answers) so that obviously doesn't work. Other two options for password reset? Phone call and mail. That's right. No email. No text. Just phone call and mail. Absolutely terrible, not sure how "4.3 stars" is shown on app store, all the reviews I'm seeing are 1 & 2 stars.

Does not update information. You have to keep keying in. I keep getting emails saying that I have not paid for January. When I open up account, it says payment won't post until February 1 because I do direct billing. But, alight should update my account to reflect this and quit sending emails making me always have to call customer service to make sure I won't get canceled from my insurance. Waste of time on both ends!

Poorly constructed. Login information forcibly disables autofill preventing the usage of password managers. When you click the button to show the text of your password while typing it in, the field isn't treated as a password and autocorrect is enabled, which changes the characters as they're typed in. Also, incredibly slow. Feels like JavaScript running in IE 8. But better than the old app, especially when you get past the login screen.

As a former employee of a company that has recently adopted Alight to manage certain aspects of their financial portfolio, it's really an inconvenience for the end user. The app is slow, doesn't respond to input, renders blank pages, and is overall inferior to the previous provider of said financial services. I would recommend using their online web services instead, but that's just as bad.

This app is awful. Trying to find anything on it is near impossible. Don't waste your time trying to find a provider through the app, only a small map comes up with locations of providers you are looking for, you should be able to click on them, but can't because there is a banner over top and you can't move the map around. So essentially it's useless. Save yourself the frustration and just call. Literally the worst app I've ever used.

The most non-user friendly app I have ever downloaded. Initial login doesn't work, find a way to get to a diff login format. If the year of a claim date is intered as the last two digits it looks like it accepts it, it does not. If you go to add an expense don't expect an option to take a picture like every other app you have used. Then I'd the picture is taken at this point the app locks up trying to get back to photo gallery. Stuck using this app to get my own money. Find an alternative!

Looks pretty but never want to use again. This app has never been helpful to me. It's slow, and often kicks over to browser. Benefits elections are page-by-page, and Alight will ask you to pick coverage for a dependent you don't have. Wastes your time with loading every screen and asking you questions that aren't relevant to your situation. App permission settings aren't set up correctly on Android. Skip this one if you can.

App is rather slow in some areas, and totally non-functional in others...example: adding reimbursement method won't allow me to enter bank info, and investment screen never loaded after two attempts and waiting. Also, the app seems to lack a feedback mechanism other than calling customer service (if there is one, I haven't found it). Definitely needs developer attention and additional testing.

absolute trash. sure, it's nice to have all my insurance info in an app but the formatting is so AWFUL. it runs off the screen with no ability to scroll to the side to fully read everything on the page or even make the page smaller so it all fits on the screen. it also doesn't always give you the ability to scroll down to see all your insurance info. these two issues make the app essentially useless.. thus, trash. please fix for Android users.

I have tried to reinstall this several times, you cannot see the left side toolbar menu once you get into the reimbursement category. The only thing you see is a notification bubble. When I try and leave feedback it just leads me to a blank screen, you can't take screenshots to send in to prove that you paid for payments because it's been turned off by the administration. At the very least you need to fix the internal toolbar. It's simply blank.

Some options have no information. I may have enrolled twice by accident. The functionality of closing a window versus the back arrow are a mystery. They may take you completely out of the app. You have to hunt on the screen for the return to main screen button and it's not always there. I would have preferred to use a web browser on a desktop PC for more screen real estate, but I could not find anywhere, anywhere, how to enroll using a browser.

Essentially an interface to a website just slower. Let's don't pretend it's an app. Beyond basic menu it just redirects you to a website. Why introduce that extra step while you can just go directly to the web. Secondly the app (website) is unintuitive to navigate and slow. Many types of requests can't be dealt with through the app or web and instead gives you a popup with a phone number to call. The whole app is an utter waste of time.

Very clunky. App opening can be very slow and then when they finally open you can't see the entire page. It let's you scroll up and down, but not side to side. Also, app won't let you shrink the view to fit the phone screen to see all details. All this prevents the app from being useful. If I need to make a change or view details I have to wIt until I get home and log on through my desktop computer.

I hate alight so much. This app is slow and frequently stops working. Been trying for half an hour to change my investments and the app keeps failing on a certain page. Although on the bright side using the app is better than trying to log in on a PC where more often than not you can't get into your account at all. Alight is so bad that if it were easy to rollover 401k accounts I would never stay here and put up with it.

MIND BOGGLING TERRIBLE!! It takes too long for the screens to load up and if I select something like "search for provider," it takes me to the internet-- but when I try to go back to the app, I find that I have to start over from the beginning; it doesn't remember ANYTHING that I previously typed in. Absolutely awful and frustrating. I would give it no stars if I could.

Not intuitive, slow, crashes, too frequent maintenance periods. Basically, there is no joy and a feeling of dread anytime I have to use this app for anything. Judging by the dates of negative reviews, unfortunately, this is the status quo. I'm not expecting any serious improvement initiatives. The app designers are either incompetent, and/or management doesn't care.

Phone navigation back and forward don't work. And app doesn't have its own navigation buttons, only an X button. So going into your ira and viewing your balance history, instead of just being able to go back and Make a transfer or change contribution settings, you are forced to exit and go through the whole process again from the beginning. If the app weren't so ridiculously slow it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Is it really too much to ask to get basic app functionality?

Very confusing app with terrible interface (once it gets to the Web portion). I can quickly and easily get to things I rarely use, such as my insurance plan, which changes once a year at most. To get to the payslips, which I download every time I get paid, that's convoluted and confusing. Clicking on the "My Payslips" link takes you to a page which says you have no documents. Then you have to click the hamburger menu to choose yet again what you are looking for. Can only be found accidentally.

Slow, unstable app. Lots of features that may work well on a PC web browser, but are really awful on a mobile phone. When under maintenance no message to that effect. It just doesn't display information. Too much white space in certain pages (investments) so you have to scroll and wait for it to load and scroll and wait. The "Need Help" feature gets in the way and is annoying. It also is so slow to load as to be useless. The space to type in can't be seen while typing.
