The error messages are in Chinese but the description wants me to provide documents 'written in the error message'. not sure how I'm supposed to do that. when i click on the document sample it doesn't load so I provided the wrong document. so there's no way to add money to my account. Garbage app with no customer support.

This app should not be given a star right at this moment to me. Foreigners who need to use the app while travelling in HK can't use it at all, because this is only entitled to HK people. It's hard to get by in a foreign country when there is limited cash on hand and with no means to pay via their country's app that others can't use. And with other international cards like visa, master apparently they have card fees too when paying with them?

I was about to pay an online merchant (that I did only last week as well as on numerous previous occasions) but, instead of a line to enter my "payment password", it showed only 6 boxes & popped up my keyboard in numeric entry mode. My password was never just digits nor limited to 6 chars, so obviously couldn't make the payment. I had to switch to another e-payment method & it didn't force on me this ABRUPT & RESTRICTIVE input like AlipayHK.

Very very poor service! It says on my ID verification is no annual limit how come you said that I sent more than 8,000 this month thats why my last remittance needs to review. I send it last Dec. 26 until now still on processing! There is no cancellation of remittance in the app. I need the money to send right now. Its hard to earn money!

My phone got repaired and I had to reinstall the alipay app. When I tried to log in and had problems I chose forgot password to try to reset. After the verification there's just a message that shows server is busy please contact online support, but there is no one to contact, just a list of questions. Seems like I've lost access to my alipay account why is it so inconvenient and not user-friendly?

I tried at least 10 times to verify account with valid HKID but it's always failed which means I can't transfer or pay through app. I don't know how I can take out my deposited money. It's really disappointing that you can deposit but can't do any transfer or pay without account verification. 🤬🤬 Thanks for your reply, by the way your advice isn't working also. I called customer service many times but they're too busy to pick up call so I thought doing email should be work but no replies 😏😤😤

Their GCash is more often unused than used.. I used to like alipay before it's so convenient, but now I'm kinda disappointed whenever I'm going to remit thru gcash It's always a system update and i need to wait for a few more days.. I'm just tired of putting money in it if i'm badly needed to send money back home It's back to the gcash system update.. i think cant depend when it comes to emergencies.. always system update...

the transportation QR code page always blank out during peak hours, results in unavailability to tab to enter MTR gate. I have to switch back to octopus entry.

Do not expect any constructive customer service. Having had ID verification declined several times, I called the hotline. They responded 4 days later, saying that they would check internally. The next day they told me that the verification dept was unable to verify my identity at that time without giving any reason and suggested that I use the app unverified. The CS continued to repeat this line at least 6 times in response to my attempts to press the issue. Don't trust them with your money.

I used to love AlipayHK. I don't even own an octopus card now. I guess whoever was in charge has quit and been replaced by someone whose priorities are all wrong. How else can you possibly explain the decision making whereby you have a tight, quick and responsive app that's proven in the field, accepted by users and scrap it in favour of what is basically a web browser? This is slower, and now I have to wait for even the settings page to load and which I need to keep restarting.

If 0 stars exist, this app would be it. Terrible customer service. I have just registered the app and it says my phone number has been used. Calling support is POINTLESS as their suggestions is for me to go get a new number to register new account (instead of my phone number of 10yrs+) and they can only freeze the account created using my phone number and wait for the person to call them. Like someone else said, many payment options in Hong Kong to content with this ridiculousness.

It's easy to use and very convenient. It gives rewards as stamps on your expenses once a day and you can use it as money when you collected enough. You don't have to carry so many coins when you go shopping. There is a small point that why there is No way to delete the old record of any of the expenses. The record stays in the app for year and there is no way to delete it. Can you fix this please. It is a good app anyway..

The cash e-coupons issued by Alipay themselves can't be redeemed due to its limited quantities. They are also deleted automatically at the end of each month. I swear I won't use it anymore after spending the amount of consumption voucher and switch to another platform when the initiative is to be launched again next year. I was asked to contact the customer service but they werent helpful anyway.

This app is very convenient but the gcash remittance is always on system maintenance especially on pay day and also when the rate is high.

The closed or unpaid transactions are still shown in the transaction history without any remarks. It's hard for me to identify the unsuccessful transactions in the list. System error with endless loading. If a mandatory update is required, there should be a pop-up message instead of endless loading which I would not know how to fix it.

EasyGo is slow as hell and takes 10 business days to load. Always have to stop and wait by the payment scanner until the QR code appears. Sometimes it'll automatically freeze or minimize and joy oh joy I'll have to start the whole process all over again. All this while the queue of passengers behind overtake me with a tap of their payment card. Can't this app load any faster??????
