I booked a flight they had the option to add insurance. It's recquired where I'm travelling to... I was thinking I could find it cheaper somewhere else but $58 isn't bad for the level of coverage. Creating the account was easy and when I logged in my info was already there. Making presenting proof of insurance a breeze. Thanks!

Many of the forms in the "file a claim" sections of the app do not function correctly. For example, when filing a medical claim, the form doesnt allow me to provide an address outside the US, which is where our medical emergency happened. On the submit page, for example, when putting in a debit card, even if you select "same as billing address" or whatnot, the form requires you to fill out an address before submitting. In fact, i couldnt get this part of the experience to work at all. Please fix!

I have never used this app, but my battery indicator told me it was draining my battery, even though I never opened it. After I deleted the app from my phone, Samsung S8+, those mysterious notification tones that I could not figure out where they were coming from stopped. Also I noticed a month ago the response time of my phone had slowed down, but after uninstalling this app my phone went back to normal speed.

can't log in to account keep getting wrong email or password changed password several times still with same results, installed and uninstalled multiple times still with same results. try calling allianz they have no IT team members that you can talk to only way to talk to IT is by email, nothing but a waste of time and very frustrating. have unistalled. just hope everything for my trip goes smoother than this app.

Horrible. App would not allow me to login by either registering or using the lost password function. Instead, receive email to call toll free number for 24-hour support. Customer service agent stated that one needed to send an email message that would get a reply in 24-48 hours. Customer service could also not register my Delta Record locator, so I would not beable to receive any text notifications regarding trip disruptions. Do not use Allianz for travel insurance. They are the worst.

App does not let you upload your documents from your phone, does not let you go back in and do it either. It goes to correct page but it's like the button doesn't work, its there just doesnt go. Tried to upload on the computer instead, but nothing pops up at all when you press the correct policy. Also no one is on chat. Very poor customer service.will take your money, but will not message back on chat -_-

now with covid travel insurance is a must especially for out of the country. I'm so glad I had this on my trip i had delays, lost bag and non refundable expense. this helped a lot. I'm going to use this more. if you have something like an expensive camera or cell phone you need to make sure you're plan covers what you need. I am now glad I had this! the app doesn't allow me to upload documents have newest phone! only negative was there communication was not too good by phone and email.

Downloaded today. Couldn't log in even when I changed my PW since it wouldn't recognize my first one. All of a sudden, I was in and was trying to edit the wrong birthdays and put in cruise and airline info. Wouldn't save my airline flight data and then gave me a page of very confusing error messages. This app is worthless. Will just call or email them if I need anything else. Don't waste your time.

Very frustrating to use. If you are in the process of creating a claim and you click the link to read about required documentation, it will entirely forget all of the information you have entered so far. The buttons for uploading documents simply don't work. Nothing happens when you press them. You have to use the website anyway if you want to upload documents (required for a claim), so there is simply no point to having the app at all.

1 star is too many. Almost a month and my claim isn't processed. Cannot upload documents in the app. The 'Select' button doesn't it work (I have android with latest update). I've gotten multiple repeated emails of what documents were needed and have sent multiple times via email address provided. Still waiting. I do not recommend. I'll be looking for a policy elsewhere when mine expires.

Overall, the login creation and login process works as designed -- there are many reviews with issues, but I did not have any after completing the email verification of my email address. Once logged in, there are multiple options to identify your policy, get policy details, and get the app to support your travel needs (flights, transfers, etc.). There are a few areas where the app experience could be smoothed out or made simpler, but this app supports my needs for travel insurance and contacts to support emergency needs.

I also have had zero luck signing into the new app for several months and have wasted time with emails and unhelpful live "assistance" who say they are aware of the problem and have no timeline for a fix. A working app is pretty darn essential when you are out on the road traveling and need help. I won't be renewing my policy if they can't solve this pronto and offer some real CUSTOMER SERVICE which is what you buy the insurance for!

Recently purchased a yearly travel insurance plan since we are going on several trips this year. All the info was on the prior app. And easy to get to. You guys decided to change the app and switch everyone to it and now the new app does not even open up on my device and just freezes on open page. No sign on page or nothing. All my insurance Info and plan info is gone. What gives ALLIANCE? Either fix app or give me another way to access my plans.

Email or password incorrect after resetting several times. Logged into the website and typed in the EXACT SAME email & password and voila! I WAS LOGGED IN. Un-installed the app, re-downloaded the app, then tried again. "Email or password does not match blahblah". Don't waste your time. Just go to their website from your phones browser.

Okay, but a lot harder to add flights than the Travel Smart app it replaced. I added my first trip and flights but the second trip I added doesn't show up under Trips. The first trip shows up, and it shows upcoming trips as "2", but the second trip doesnt show up to select. I tried adding it again, but it says the trip was already added. No idea how to access the trip to add my flights. Also adding flights requires knowing the airline code, which isnt always obvious.

VERY frustrating. We're leaving shortly so I want to be sure I can access my policy on this phone app. When I tried to log in, it said my email or password was wrong. I went through the update password loop twice and it never accepted the new password. I logged on to the website on my desktop with the last password I set with no problem. I then deleted and reinstalled the app and tried again. Still no luck. What good is an app if you can't log in?

I would give this a negative star review if possible. When the app flipped from TravelSmart to Allyz, my credentials did not transfer, and I've not yet been able to get logged onto the new iteration, even after many tries to reset the password. Message says either the email address or pw is incorrect, however, I have screen shots showing both are entered correctly. Customer Service merely sent a regurgitation of the PW reset instructions.

Total garbage app with non-existent support. Unable to log in with known good credentials. Uninstalled and reinstalled app multiple times, no go. Changed password multiple times, no go. Called CS. First time was railroaded into sending an email to their support - no response. 2nd call - "wait 10 minutes while we update your account". Didn't work either. 3rd call: "Well, the app doesn't really work all that well because it is still in development". Consider me a non-renewal, Allianz.

Not impressed. Biggest issue is when I try to login, my username and password are not retrieved. I know the information was saved but the app fields for username/password are not filled. Will check back periodically but not going to be useful if I have to search out the username and password each time.

I have not been able to log into the app for a nearly a month now. I made two calls to tech support, and was told there is a known issue with logging in that they are looking into. Fixes I tried myself included deleting all app data, installing, rebooting, and reinstalling. I can log into the Allianz site and see my policies without any issues. The app seems to be broken with no fix coming.
