I didn't realize that this is a complete display rendering, not just the corner where the camera is. Therefore, if you have a notification, you cannot use the fingerprint sensor. You have to dismiss the AOE screen first, then use the fingerprint sensor. Also: - "lighting when listening to music" also lights up when YouTube is playing. If you can omit YouTube, that would be great. -"if screen is on, use color waves only" doesn't work with text messages notifications.

Wasn't bad. It was a little buggy for me at times. Couldn't get it to work with AOD no matter what settings I tried. And the reminder only worked part of the time. The charging animation would also stop when I'd unlock my phone. Wouldn't work with all app notifications some apps it was just picky and wouldn't show an LED. Not a bad app. I'd give it 3.5/5. If some of the kinks get worked out it would be perfect.

Great, but I have issues with system apps (texts, gmail, etc) on my pixel 3. They are off by default, and when I turn them on and press save, they'll either work for a couple minutes or not at all. And when I check the app, they've switched themselves off. Would give 5 stars otherwise, this app is great and a wonderful replacement for the LED indicator.

Love the app. But fix the recent paid subscription issue. I see other are also reporting the same issue. I have already bought the app back in 2023 with lifetime support (no subscription). You cant change payment terms suddenly, for existing customers, and force to buy subscriptions now. Do that with new customer, for sure. Please fix for those who have already bought. Happy to update my rating back to 5 stars (which it deserves), once you fix this issue

While it is frustrating that AOE now requires a monthly subscription even for those that already purchased, the cost is negligible. I have come to rely on AOE for Galaxy notifications. Takes some time to set up properly but it is worth it. Now I have different color notifications for each app that persist when the screen is off.

As others have stated, I bought this app awhile ago, now it asks for monthly subscription or watch an add. I paid to have ads removed and to get premium features, now that's null and void. This is utter bullcrap. A very unscrupulous developer. Switched to True Edge. There are ads, a yearly subscription (¢4.99) available, but free versions is better than this AOE rubbish and works.

Saying "lighted for 25 times! Trial ended. Please save again or buy!" What? Trial? I use the paid version! Please fix this. I paid for an app that doesn't work correctly. And why the hell am I getting ads in the paid version? Also, the subscription is a scam. In the app it says that a subscription is a one time, lifetime purchase. This is a lie. On google play it's a recurring monthly charge that can expire.

I've used this app for roughly 4-5 yrs on various devices. Throughout it's been buggy from time to time, but nothing agregious. Previously paid for the "premium" experience, every time I change a device Im forced to pay again. Just a few days ago my "AOE" edge notification said I needed to pay again. So I subscribed to the monthly fee, not terrible 50 cents/month. However, 1 day after subscribing, I got the same notification. I'm likely going to unsubscribe if this isn't fixed ASAP.

Works great however your purchase won't stay active., I bought the "Lifetime" premium twice, once in 2021 and again in 2022. After the second time I complained and it was fixed by the developer. I updated my review to 5 stars. Recently (2024) ads are back and i get a notification to upgrade after 25 notifications. DON'T BUY It. The app is great but your money is required every so often.

Paid mode does not work. I've had this app for years, now all of a sudden it requires a paid subscription.. Bought a subscription, but the app still kicks me over to the "buy a subscription" window every time i select the export feature. Also there's a nagging screen every time there's a notification. Fix the paid subscription.

Have used for years and loved it. Bought a lifetime subscription that covered all future updates for the life of the app. After the past couple months of updates however, that is no longer being honored. Have frequent push messages saying Trial Period has ended and wants me to subscribe to a reoccurring payment. When opening the app it asked me to Rate and would not allow me to skip, even after closing and reopening multiple times. Don't like that. It's not what it used to be. Do not recommend!

I paid for the lifetime ad-free version in 2019. However, now the developer seems to have gone back on that and has rendered this app useless unless you now pay a subscription. I can understand changing your payment model but anyone who paid for the full version prior to that change should be grandfathered in. I have tried emailing the developer several times and have received no response. Please stand by the original contract and fix this for your users that paid prior to changing your model.

Still not working after the latest update today. I'm experiencing the same as others that it shows my trial has needed, but I have already purchased a lifetime subscription. I don't think it's right to change the model and cancel everyone who paid up front. I can see this being unlawful. I hope this company is just having issues with this and will fix it soon. No reply from email support either.

I purchased the full version, I really like the app itself. now they want a subscription fee? It isn't about the money. It is about the decite to those of us who who paid for the full program years ago. Now, even though I am reluctantly willing to pay but now I can't access "enabled apps" cause now it rants to charge me $3.99. And if I tap the "pay" button, nothing Happens. Now I pay 45¢ per month but not able to access all the features.

After using this app for over 6 years, and paid for advanced settings/ads removal for several times, I finally decided to remove it from my phone. Initial setup is a mess, but it is okay, I eventually got it working, and I changed my phone several times, and I had to pay the premium function each time for ad removal. Then the last straw that crushes the camel is it started to ask for monthly subscription fee for the same premium functions I already paid for.

The app itself has been great. I've been using it for years and I even paid for the lifetime ad free version about a year and a half ago. Now the developer has essentially stolen this money and is demanding a monthly subscription even though I paid for it already. I understand the idea of the subscription, but everyone that paid for the lifetime version should be grandfathered in. Not happy with the app or the developer at all anymore. Really terrible decision on the developer's fault.

This was a great app. I have used it for 3 years on different samsung phones. The reason for the one star is because I paid for the lifetime use of the app. Now I get some sort of a subscription notice instead of the edge lighting I used to get for notifications. It's not that the monthly subscription cost is that expesive, it is the principal. I paid for the app years ago and know the developer wants to charge me a monthly subscription cost.

Like others, subscribed to the monthly fee, but it's not accepting it. Message comes up on every notification that my trial is over. Tried clearing cache, force stop / start, and uninstall / reinstall. Still no good. Uninstalled. On to one of the other solutions that actually work and haven't become cancerous with ads and constant payments. Buy it once and be done with it. Ridiculous.

The app works well for the most part. Ever since it switched to a monthly fee, which I signed up for, I keep getting a pop-up message - it's trailing white with a pop-up message. It happens every dozen or so notifications, saying that my trial ended after 25 light ups or whatever. It also tells me to save, and I keep going in and saving all my settings, but it keeps doing it. I'll delete it and cancel my membership if it keeps doing that. It defeats the purpose of the app.
