Terrible app. Does exactly the same as the other swann apps. I can view my cameras without issue, bit it's impossible to view live footage. I get a constant spinning wheel before the app times out. This is shocking for a company as large as swann. This happens on multiple devices, but the same swann apps all work perfectly on iPhones. This shows the DVR is working fine and that it's the actual Android software that's useless.

Hello, the app does not stream the live feed as the previous version 4.14.2. did. My phone has the lasted version and my daughter has the old version. The old version work instant compared to the new version. We both have the same internet connection and data plan. Please can you tweak the new app so it connects to the live feed faster as before? Thanks you.

It works fine about 40% of the time, but just often I am inexplicably unable to view saved videos of movement. I will be able to watch the live video at that moment and unable to watch any retained video. I am currently frustrated, sitting next to the HDD, router and monitor having checked that all is working normally but I still cant view the videos... perplexed and frustrated.

The app working just fine now - I use my camera to keep an eye on my dog - I have now connected a timer plug to the socket, so that the camera resets once a day for appx half an hour this seems to have resolved the issue of going offline and not coming back online & working at all away from home. I have an update for this app the annoying issue of setting new PTZ's is so frustrating, I spend a long time positioning the camera when I try to add MARK it just closes the app completely. 🤔😡🤬

Terrible!!. Took me hours to get set up. Every time i tried to connect to wifi it disconnected it and when i did eventually do it, it would not pick up my email, then found out i had to change my email setting to a more unsecure setting, then it worked! Wish i had bought another Lorex camera instead, which took 10 minutes to set up and didnt need to compromise my email security! I hope it is worth all the hassle!! Update, now 3 months later does not work at all, never buying Swann again.

the camera with 3rd party software is brilliant. the mobile phone app is horrible. after the fist use you need to close the app completely then reopen it to make it. work properly. also after the last update the way you scroll playback is horrible. it looks pretty but is far less functional. fix these two issues and the app would be great. also if you are going to introduce a new guide feature at least have an option for the old one.

Just set up my camera and push notifications won't connect - keeps stating 'operation failed' when I try to set them up...this is a real shame, as it is the most valuable aspect of the device for being alerted to any movement instantaneously and it currently doesn't work! Rest of camera function is great so far.

Stopped working, multiple systems now useless. Come on Swann. App has stopped working. It's nothing my end. Multiple systems I have previously installed and the app isn't working for any of them. Are your servers down?? If so when will they be back up? Installed your systems for clients in the past, will be installing a different brand from now on. Had this problem in the past with swann veiw link. Useless.

I can hardly ever get my video to replay. I quit getting my push notifications after 2 days. And watching live works when it wants to. I have the fastest internet that Xfinity provides, my home unit is within 6 inches of my router and when I hit replay it wont pull up. Nothing had changed on the app. I have somewhat better success on my home survallience. I got the unit however so I can keep my eyes on my home from away. My ex tried to run me over and I couldnt even pull up video for the police

Terrible app it doesnt the have the option for playback like advertised. I have the external memory and it doesnt let you change storage location so it's stuck in my internal memory. It also doesnt record. I pressed record and it did not record anything and it doesnt record when it senses anything. its a Pos I'm gonna return it today. I should have read reviews first.

I personally would not recommend this product. My in-laws purchased a set. Continuously run into video loss issues. The DVR box reads full signal to both cameras. Even connected them to internet for better coverage. The customer service representative told me it could be because of the wall. The wall is interfering with the signal of the cameras and the DVR box. The cameras are wireless with audio. The DVR box is in between both cameras through one wall. When we open the app we get video loss.

OVERRALL UGHH!! I'm so frustrated by this app. My emails just stopped coming. I can't get "push" notifications to work on this app, so I can get a notification on my phone instead of coming thru my emails. It keeps saying "enable push failed"! How the heck am I going to know if someone is breaking in my car etc. if I cant get notifications on my phone or email. This is sum BS!!! Can ANYONE HELP PAHLEASEEEEE!!!

Not worth the money... I work from home and have to be connected to a VPN on a very strong signal so I have top tier wifi but I am constantly experiencing video loss and I can rarely get the live stream or playback to work on my phone. Looking at other reviews, I see a lot of people with the same issue and I find it hard to believe that so many people have a crappy wifi network.

I've never been more frustrated with an app in my life. It's so antiquated. It doesn't allow push notifications to my phone but instead it goes to an email. Who checks emails like that?? There's no way for me to manually adjust the time stamp. My list could go on and on but who has the time? This entire app needs a reboot!

I have never been able to receive email or push notifications but during the last month or so, this app has become even more useless than before. Now when I try to mark my PTZ positions, the app will completely crash and shut down. Never, ever buying a SWANN camera again and I will warn everyone off it too. Support is non-existent, cameras don't work 75% of the time, and this app is also awful. Waste of time and money.

I've had this app and swann camera for a few years now. I have notifications off so I cant speak to that. But the motion sensitivity is great, being able to turn it up or down. It records the simplest motion and has always worked fine. Every so often the camera will do this weird thing where it stops being connected and itll make this clicking noise. I simply unplug and replug and itll reset. I was able to check my camera while I was across the state. Was able to see, hear and playback easily

Not a very user friendly app. Needs some more options for camera control, would like to auto cycle between set saved points. Also having trouble setting up auto detect/record, which also needs ability to add time intervals for sensitivity settings. Camera initial set up was smooth and easy if you follow the instructions, frustrating if you don't.
