Sometimes a little glitchy if you put in seats and then hit back (it won't let you reselect them until the prior broswer times out). Once had to refund like 5 tickets and it said it wasn't doing it, that there was an error. But it totally did the next day no problem. Other than that runs smooth. Saved me a ton of money! Easy to keep track of rewards

App signed me out the other day and it won't let me sign back in, won't let me recover my password, and essentially won't let me do anything that lets me use my subscription. Even before this I had to open up the app several times just to get it to load properly. Great service, bad application. Edit: Aug 30, 2019. App still sucks. Thankfully I no longer have login issues, but it still has a plethora of issues.

I have upgraded to the A-list tier a few months ago. For whatever reason, the app constantly "forgets" that, and shows me as enrolled at the lowest (unpaid) level, and I end up paying full price for things that should be discounted or free at the theater. I have sent in 2 help tickets about this. It gets fixed, but then screws up again. This is ridiculous! Be aware that if you upgrade, it may end up being more aggravation than it's worth.

Gets the job done, pretty easy to use, decent UI, the only issue I've encountered is that sometimes gift cards don't like to load when you try to enter them on the purchase / add payment screen. You have to back out and then it seems to show up. A big plus over other theaters apps is that you can see which seats are actually next to each other.

Update 08.22.2020: The app absolutely won't work with a VPN. I went to the movies yesterday and the app would not load, let me log in, and kept crashing. I couldn't access my ticket and had to have an employee try to look up my account. It was extremely difficult and I almost wasn't able to go. I am trying to get it to work today and I am having the same issue. Great interface. Sometimes it glitches a bit but is otherwise great. It's super simple to make movie reservations and pick your seats.

I love the ease of use and the layout of the app itself, but MY GOD MAN!! Retrieving my tickets as I walk into the theater is the most annoying experience. Every time I go I have to stand at the entrance for like 5 mins and wait for it to load. This app is the slowest thing on my phone! Do something with your internal engine or whatever apps run on because that's just unacceptable! I shouldn't regret giving you my money.

This app works great...when I can get it to work. I don't know if it's just specific to my phone, but I have issues starting it up. If I minimize the app and come back to it several hours later it'll just show me a blank screen (I have to reboot it every time I want to use the service). I also have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I'm not receiving the ticket availability alerts I've set. So like I said, when I can get it to work it's great. But there are definitely pitfalls.

This app is wonderful and easy to use especially for someone like me who's not technically savvy. The features are straight forward and i also love the refund aspect on this app in case you had a change of heart and choose a different show time or maybe the weather is so bad outside you can't make it on time or at all. The only issue I have is that the app tends to crash occasionally and when it does, you can NOT access your purchased tickets. If not for the app instability, I would rate it a 5

Slow and unintuitive. If you have the Stubs A List membership you must use the app. It can take 5-10 seconds for it to respond to any UI selection. The two functions you want when at the theater are to display your ticket for entry and to display your membership for concession purchases. It's difficult to navigate between the two and usually involves guesswork complicated by the slow response. It's really a garbage user experience.

The app works well enough, but I often find that it crashes and I need to restart it often. Probably once a week, which seems like a lot. At the moment, is also it's doing a weird lagging scroll. Other than that, it's good and I'm really glad the Entourage ticket ordering exists. I only wish reservations made for dates months in advance didn't count toward that week's ticket total. That stupid and annoying. That should change.

Generally satisfied with the app, but when you use your rewards to get food on the app it won't let you pay the $2 delivery charge with your rewards. So if I have $20 in rewards and and order $10 of food (including delivery), I can only use $8 of rewards. I HAVE to pay the $2 delivery fee using my credit card. Extremely frustrating and makes the rewards seem less exciting, because I have to pay money no matter what.

the idea is fantastic, but the app is horrible! its so buggy and slow. since there arent any family plans, my wife and i have to try and click adjoining seats at the same time. sometimes my wifes purchase goes through and mine gives me an error "cant reach theater at this time" and then it locks the seat for a few minutes. or vice versa. sometimes when i first open the app it stays stuck on the first amc screen for minutes. the app can be so frustrating!!!

This app is truly convenient, however the app itself needs work. The app is slow, and you're unable to do small things like zoom in on seating info. There are also occasional errors with reserving seats, such as reserving a seat, the app not processing the order, and the seat then becoming unavailable. Food delivery is broken too. With that, you can reserve seats with ease and it makes the trouble of trying to buy tickets much less of a hassle. A-List is highly recommended for any movie goer.

When you open the app, a splash screen image appears and you can't get rid of it until it goes away, which feels like forever. Also, when you search for movies, the top half of the screen is taken up by gigantic icons and advertisements, leaving little space to scroll through the movies at the bottom. Frustrating use of landscape. Overall terrible user experience.

App almost never loads the main screen (movies currently playing) quickly...if at all...and instead has blank "movie posters." It seems that I have to navigate to another screen and return...and then sometimes not even then and it requires moving around the app again and returning. it is also (ironically) very slow to load at all when inside sn AMC cinema when I need it most to show my ticket or member card! Very frustrating. But when it works, it's an easy to use and attractive app.

Needs work very quirky, slow, undependable. I do really like being able to see the movies and times and make seating reservations. To overcome some of the issues after I order and get my receipt when I order tickets on my phone I take a screen shot of my purchase (QR CODE) which is in my picture gallery and easy to access and use when going into the theater, since getting my app open to show my purchase is so unreliable and slow.

The app has improved dramatically since the last time I reviewed. It is very useful for finding movies and showtimes as well asbpurchasing tickets. Currently I'm having an issue purchasing tickets as there is an error saying "Oops, something went wrong" which isn't helpful. That along with the plethora of ads once you make a purchase docks it a star.

The movies are a fun escape into the world of another dimension! I love AMC theatres! The rewards and discounts are a plus when you become a Stubs premiere and/or A-List member, sign up! The staff are nice and helpful! After the shows have been completed, the sections still have leftover trash from the previous viewing, but aside from that great atmosphere, good food/snack options!

Good app, but I'm frequently looking for a few features that it doesn't seem to have... 1) Ability to filter "see a movie" page by movies that my preferred theater is showing (even better, with tickets on a certain date or time range). Bummer to tap on a movie to find it's only showing 40 miles away! 2) A faves list of movies I want to see, and notify me when tickets become available for a certain film, theater, or day. 3) Filter out movies on "see a movie" page that are excluded from A-List

It's pretty difficult to navigate and often takes multiple taps to get what you need. In particular, when it's close to showtime you actually have to find your tickets instead of there being an available shortcut. And tapping on a theatre's name doesn't give you showtimes. Their search also does not work. If you search for a movie title, it often will not find it, but if you search individual theatres there will be showtimes for the unsearchable film.
