DON'T CREATE AN ACCOUNT! NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. Don't get carried away by Amex logo, this company is an absolute trash. They will never respond to your customer support requests. A simple transfer of money takes more than 3 weeks which let my small business in trouble. After repeated follow ups no one helped and I was delayed in making payments to my vendors and those 3 weeks was a absolute pain. App is worst too, buggy and unreliable. Don't create an account here!

Bad customer service, trying to mobile deposit a check issued by a county government and they say their third party fraud detection has determined it's not a good check. This is after a week of calling them and getting different answers such as reinstall the app, try again tomorrow, try again in 3 hours, etc. They accepted a check from the same customer 3 months ago. Also applied for their payment processing service to be able to accept credit cards 9 months ago it still says under review.

Kabbage must correct the login mistake they made or I will be forced to do business elsewhere. We live in a time when all other financial apps have biometric (fingerprint, retina) logins. Kabbage USED to have this, but inexplicably removed it...and then made it far worse by requiring text entry of a separate AMEX login that can neither be saved nor made biometric. This must be fixed within 30 days or our company will close our account. Thank you.

I wouldn't even give this company 1 star knowing they have all my personal information. They number don't work. Ever! Like it's a set up. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed at the fact that some of you got through? I think these good reviews are fake. I even sent in email and only get a automated message almost instantly. Thank God there are other services that are real and are able to provide real help instead of trying to keep the Governments money. I will not stop until I find out. Joke

Wish it would have fingerprint or similar login, Like all my other banking apps. I have to manually enter login each time as well as enter verification code each time. Otherwise I love the app, but this is a big negative to me.

I have an unable to access the app for a week running. Repeated emails to kabbage, one phone call session and even hit them up on Twitter and no one will respond to me. It won't let me log in so I can deposit a check. I might have to find a new business checking account partner. Makes no sense to me that I can't get in with my login.

It is a joke. Deposits are limited. Checks are supposed to be deposited with the app but I can't find the option. Sorrento interface worth quicken. If you go to the help link on the web site it logs you out. You have to enter your credentials every time you use the app... Just don't!

It does what you need it to, but with extremely complex passwords, it would be nice to be able to have biometric authentication as an option versus having to type or fill it everytime.

This app is pretty buggy. And no way to contact support. Called twice and people sounded like they were 100 ft away. Main issue click transaction view all. Then click transaction and back. Now all your transaction are doubled in the app.. doesn't seem like high quality control is part of the app and makes me think twice about my American Express app.

For an online only bank, you really, really need to provide an operational mobile check deposit. For the past few weeks, it continuously complains about the check being damaged (not) or unreadable (not), when I can mobile deposit it at my other bank just fine.

Don't understand why alerts or notifications are blocked on the app. Not helpful when needing to know what's going on within the accounts. The usage isn't reliable and doesn't look polished like the regular Amex app. For a business focused app I was expecting much more usability

Accounts disconnected somehow, then had to reconnect over the phone. Multiple accounts now linked... doubled up. No way to delete the old accounts or remove them. It shows double the totals... for the same account duplicated.

Can't open the app with Galaxy s22+ or Galaxy tablet. Contacted Amex and they said it was an issue with my devices. App used to work fine and then past 5-6 mos stopped working. Can't deposit checks unless i log into my account on my husband's iPhone. Not ideal as a business owner. Tried uninstall/reinstall, clearing cache and data, giving all permissions, changing login info. Nothing works. Can access my account from the web browser, but doesn't help me deposit checks.

Completely incompetent. I asked three separate times for a document on company letterhead with my routing and account #s that was needed by my credit card processor to set up deposits, each time I was told it would arrive within 2 weeks, and each time it never arrived. If they can't provide support to start banking with them, good luck getting support when you actually start banking with them.

Interested in the interest earning checking account for my small business. Can't setup a checking account without setting up a line of credit, which I don't need. Been an AMEX customer for 40+ years but this experience may cause that to change. It's call bait and switch, way below AMEX's usual standards. May be ok for those looking for a line of credit but hardly worth the effort for a checking account.

A total joke of an app and bank to work with. You would think with a name like American Express basic features like a wire transfer would work, or at the very least you could call to make one like any other bank. Nope, customer service agents are worthless and you will experience so many issues. There are so many other better options, run far from this.

So disappointed...this business app is garbage. It was easy getting my account initially setup, but submitting the Payment Accept application was an absolute waste of over an hour. My AMEX business account should already be included as one of the linked accounts. Am I asking for too much? So it took forever getting that setup. And then, once I finally have it linked, it has trouble connecting. Like what? This should be automatic. And no bio login? C'mon AMEX... get with the times.

You can't access the checking account. The icon just spins. Very frustrating when you can't access the checking account and that's the only way to deposit checks. The app has not worked well since Amex launched the Android version months ago. Same problems different app name. And customer service has no clue.

Not being able to use biometrics to login makes this app essentially useless. It needs you to enter the password manually and then authenticate again via a code sent to your email. It's much easier to use the web browser to login instead. Additionally, I'm still able to track all my spending on the business credit cards in the main Amex app... this app allows to track my business checking account. But, I'd rather have all tracking in one place with added functionality in the primary app!

The first loan application was pretty much seamless and the app was very helpful at the time. However, the app is useless now under K Servicing. After calling numerous times (and it's almost impossible to get through), sign in issues for the app have not been resolved. Also, not only is the second loan process taking much longer, but trying to change primary bank accounts has been a nightmare and still the issue had not been resolved. Disheartening.
