Used to love this app, but the Frame Grab feature no longer works. Previously all still images were saved in a Temp Folder under DCIM, AndroVid Pro, then Temp. This was great because instead of pulling individual stills you could grab series after series and then go back and pull the ones you wanted.... Well... That feature is gone. The Help Menu within the app says you can select the the app to automatically save all stills instead of doing each one manually but there is no option in the app.

This app is essentially unusable. When creating a new video project I am not given a option for a search or view option, I'm only given an Album view of my videos. The albums are random - no order by date or name or any other means is offered. I'm unable to locate the videos I want to use. So, I updated it today, as there was an update I had missed. Still no better - exactly the same.

I had to change my review After an update I was a little upset because it would never seem to finish producing the final product to 100%. It would always stick at a certain %. But this app and I have made some incredible work over the years! and there's certain things this app does that "TO THIS DAY!" other apps JUST CAN'T DO! This is a wonderful app! Patiently it's taught me how to problem solve. Here's a tip, always watch where the tail end marker stops! Tighten your trim to alleviate errors

2023Jan Update => When trimming videos, the MP4 produced is corrupted. 2022 Update => Latest update eliminated key MP3 features that got me to buy the Pro version. Harder to do almost every task I did due to the overly simplified interface. Won't play certain videos it had in the past. 2020 => Continues to be my "go to" video edit app. Really appreciate the MP3 convert option. Would like it to add a WEBP to video/gif convert

It would be great if it had audio sounding to preview instead of having to save every change. Also, need better varience in video lighting. For this reason I uninstalled this app before the 24 hours was up to receive a refund. As per the app offering a refund for trial of 24 hrs. I have not received any refund and would like the developer to amend this.

I've been using this app for over 7 years, and have always considered it a 5 out of 5. This newest update sucks. I would always open a video I wanted to edit in Androvid, from ES file explorer. I can't do that now. It'll still take me to the Androvid app, but then switch to the main menu/home. To top it off, there is a very limited amount of folders on your own phone that it even gives you the option to choose files from. It's now useless to me and i paid for this.

The "only" glitch I get is, every time I try to edit a video in any way(trim, sound, theme etc, etc..., the application only plays the sound of the video, but where the video is supposed to be playing is...Totally Blank!! The Developers never responded to any means of communication that I put forth. Big Disappointment and an expensive lesson to learn!

Not bad, not good.. The app is not that bad. It has useful effects and it's easy to use... however. Currently effects are having issues. They work but you cannot adjust the levels... well I take that back... you can adjust the levels and they show correctly. However when you save the final video the effects are on full blast, no matter how you adjusted it previously... super annoying for a paid app. If they fixed that it would be a really decent app.

I used to use this app all the time. Paid for the pro version. But now it's useless. It saves my videos with an audio delay so the words aren't lined up with the mouths moving. If you change the volume, it doesn't save, the saved video had the original volume. Tried over and over, multiple videos, reinstalled, restarted phone, no difference. Videos are unusable.

Keep adding new features. I would really like to see a 'reverse' effect, or added premium effects like aviary does. Additional features have been added and the navigation is friendly and fast enough to add your own music, edit clips and video in a few spare minutes. Special effects and recent user interface updates improved the app substancially. Thanks!

Used to be great, it's why I purchased it, but it's been taking a really long time to achieve what I want often needing to start over and over. Now it won't allow my videos to be edited or viewed in landscape which is how I shot them. So they either look distorted or tiny with significant edging. I have auto rotate on my phone. Doesn't make sense.

Took two hours to rotate a 3 minute video, and when it finally hit 100% it still didnt rotate the video! What a waste of time and money, stick with the free version! *UPDATE: two years later and this app is still sooo buggy!! when i merge a bunch of videos together, it will lag and freeze at the end of the video; also when cropping a video picture size, the audio will be out of sync. *Update - Still buggy, Trimming videos makes the video freeze and lag. Complete waste of an app.

Updated: still a fan but the app gets worse w updates instead of more robust. Not being able to select media from anywhere in your gallery makes some tasks impossible. Also, the reverse video function used to be so quick and easy, but no longer works for me and renders a video that's just colorful glitches. I'll still use for certain tasks, like cropping to different aspects ratio, but no longer my go-to editor. Old: Easy and intuitive. Best editor for easily cropping video to any aspect ratio.

I've had this app for a few years now and I really used to enjoy it. But for the past year or so it constantly gets stuck while "preparing" or saving, especially on longer videos. It usually stops at 40% and never completes a save. And when it does manage to complete saving, it speeds up the first few seconds of the video every single time. I've done it all, including reinstallation, but it continues.

Overall a good basic editor, I find a few tools don't work well (splitting a video for further editing and stitching it back together doesn't work) and would like to see a reverse tool available, but this app is definitely worth the purchase. Edit: The recent update removed some functions such as the fade, and sound editing has also been gutted. Not really such a great app anymore, I wish I hadn't spent money for this. Second edit: This app has really gone downhill, don't waste your money!

UPDATE: The video fade in/out feature appears to gone or I can't find it. This takes an important feature off the table and, in my opinion, really takes away a truly important feature. Can't this be added back? I reverted to an earlier version until fade returns. Does what it says and makes custom editing on my phone very easy. It takes a while to process the video compared to my desktop but it's great to be able to edit on the go with my phone and tablet. Great work!

I have been a very happy user of this app for the last 3/4 years. It was very user friendly n quick. But with the latest updation, it has become very time consuming. Merging of the videos , particularly,has become very time consuming Surprisingly, the size of a trimmed video becomes more than that of the full video Would appreciate if we could switch back to earlier version, please.

Fantastic! Trims videos w/o resolution loss. Can do full res frame grabs. And its a great price with no subscription. Just fantastic. I hope you will consider allowing us to select where to save output files some day. Im editing videos from the external SD and id like to keep the results on the external SD. There's a weird bug where commas are replaced with underscores. Id love to keep commas.

After some updates my wife asked me to delete this application. She used it to make slideshows. But now it's not possible to save projects/drafts, only the completed video, and this slideshow not to be modified correctly. And one cannot use gallery or file manager to choose a set of photos for project. So the good application becomes garbage. For whom you are developing it, dummies with a few pics in smartphone and no file management skills? "Pro version"? Shame.

Even after running my videos through other editors, I still run it through this one at the end.. It has all the perfect tools for straight up video editing. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, plus the ability to save in 4k HD is a huge plus! This app alone provides more than enough value to keep me holding tightly to play pass.. Literally the only things its missing are text to video, lipsynching, video to video, and image to video generation. *fingers crossed its in the next update!
