There is only problem and a major one at that! There is no distances or specific area(s) or zip codes in which you are willing to work within the settings menu. For instance, travel 80 miles to mow and trim a lawn for $40? No thanks. It is because of this, that you can't set your availability accurately and can cause harm to your keep rate. Which is how you are offered jobs to begin with.

Bad. I am trying to edit my personal information and location and I do not have the option to do so. I have tried updating and reinstalling the app. I am trying to delete my profile/account, so that I can start over, and even that option is not available. On top of that there is no live chat or voice support to help troubleshoot. Just articles that lead to nowhere... The tabs on the app are missing.

The app is trash. I can never log in, and the costumer service bots, and people are pretty much useless when trying to get help fixing the issue. I've Uninstalled the app multiple times to try and fix the problem as prompted by the service techs and still it doesn't work. Unless they find a way to fix this bug I'll never try and use this app again.

Very friendly customers however. If there are any issues with the bookings and you or the customer need to get ahold of someone it is very hard (impossible from personal experience). Most bookings are not as described which can put u in an odd situation sometimes. I just did a booking and did the work that should have been for two people because one of the other providers didn't show up. Luckily the home owners helped me out. But they had back issues and could have been injured.

If you have an emergency or bad weather they will charge you a cancellation fee. The jobs are snagged up in seconds so you have to claim them fast. Even though the job you cancel gets claimed by someone else in seconds, you still get charged a cancel fee. App shows jobs that are 100 miles away resulting in way too many notifications. Turn off notifications, miss jobs. There should be a feature to select which area you are willing to travel to. I will never travel 100 miles to do a $30 job. Lol

Every job listing is 90+ miles away and the pay out for each is less than $100.00. Another downside to the app is that it doesn't have any sort of account setting to adjust the distance of which you're willing to travel, which is irritating because than your forced to sift through all of the job leads that lead absolutely no where......apps garbage!

They give you mostely jobs you have to drive over 40 miles for. Those jobs rarely pay more than 40 bucks. They charge customers twice what they pay you. If you need to cancel, they charge a fee if it's within two days. There's no way to cancel for bad weather without getting fined. They do not have a phone contact, so good luck with their incompetent email support team. Their auto book system books jobs within that two day fine window, so if you have plans, you gotta pay to cancel. App is trash

The jobs posted are often fairly priced and the descriptions so far have been accurate. I've been working as a pro frequently for the service for almost a year. When there is an issue, more times than not, the job support service is abbrasive and short. One other major issue is when a client wants to reschedule after a booking has been made. The app cancels the initial booking and reposts it to everyone again without giving the pro who has already committed, a chance to add it to their schedule.

An absolute dumpster fire. They lower your score, but don't let you see your reviews. Customer service is all but nonexistant. Just absolutely horrible. Whomever programmed this should be taken out back and shot on simple princial. show real time changes in scheduling, give us more than the most basic and generic choices for everything. I cant count the number of times I've had customers request changes and there was no option but to put that they weren't home

I will say this app helped me gain some experience I can use to move on to bigger and better things, but overall, Handy is really good at setting professionals up for failure. They charge pros fees, up to like $50, for cancelling too close to an appointment, which is sometimes more than what you would be paid for that job. But, clients can cancel an hour and a half before, and you don't get a partial payment, even though you're losing money. They also wanna offer $48 to do a job an hour away.

I've been doing ok using the app for jobs so far, but I have one big issue with it. Several types of jobs require you to take a quiz before being able to book the job. This would be fine if the app worked, but it does not. When I click the box to take the quiz, the "claim job" screen simply reloads and tells me that the job is not available despite the job still appearing as claimable. Customer support has been useless in remedying this issue.

Terrible experience since I've created an account. As a pro with several jobs under my belt, its a hassle 90% of the time when trying to get in contact with them. There's no direct phone support. No call center. Customers & Pros are treated poorly when theres an issue. And the app is extremely buggy. Any cancelation or no-show results in fees regardless of what the agent says in the chat despite me showing screenshots. They also cancel every job afterward. Feels like a money grab on their end.

I would give it zero Stars for several issues from my previous review and still stands. Right now as of April 4th 2024 the latest software does not alert pros when a customer cancels or reschedules. Not even a text or an email. Sometimes the app cannot retrieve job schedule the day of, which not only can be late for our appointment but waste a lot of time chatting with customer support to get the customers address and phone number. The help page in the pro app is broken.

This app is poorly maintained and can be extremely inaccurate on job time "estimates " There is a huge marketing issue with how everything past the estimate is on the Pro to Sell to the customer. I'm not sure the premium part of this is worth it when the basic app is glitchy most of the time. The messages from the message tab are accessed to use. I have to go to the client and then message them through there......

I have overall had a bad experience with the app and customer service. Someone hung up on me yesterday during a chat. I've attempted several times to report issues with the geofence not working. I continue to get jobs that are out of state over hundreds of miles away even though I only have 30 mi set. I have provided feedback multiple times too many agents regarding some of the details in the ticket that were not included in an effort to get them to add it to the ticket so the next technician c

App has been very buggy lately. With certain booking I get error messages every time I tap "on my way" or "check in". I have contacted Pro support numerous times. The only advice they give is to uninstall the app and reinstall. I have done that probably a dozen times in the last month. I have an open ticket but have heard no response to it.

This app has lots of bugs, and support doesn't offer to pass the info along so that the developers can fix the problem. I get error fetching jobs quite a bit when I have a job on my schedule for the day. I'm unable to start and stop a job. This usually happens after I click the on my way button and it has an error, after that the job can't be pulled up at all.

The app is "Meh". Many of the jobs are really far away. I'm not travelling 80 miles to make $20. Some jobs were canceled w/ no explanation. Other jobs are not worth the pay offered. Job descriptions are not always accurate, or lack information. The pro can save time knowing what to bring to the job instead of getting there only to go back out. They say customers must reimburse pro for extra time, but It's an awkward conversation to have. Needs a job distance option.

There's so many things going on with this App . For one when a pro clicks on my way you get a error stating servers can't be reached then when you click it to check in there is a error failed to load jobs. Second issue is the support team doesn't really value the pros perspective of what we have to deal with adding time to a job. There's been many of times when there was no way of adding time to a job because they're just wasn't an option. End up staying 2 hours more to finish the job

Customer service and support are virtually nonexistent. I've tried for months to get someone to respond to my messages from support with still no response for the next steps to take or how to fix the issue of not being able to log in, or even get a code sent to my phone. I've sent screenshots to support to show them the error and I don't think anyone even looks at it. Kinda smart in a way. If you just ignore the issues and pretend your app is running fine, then I guess ignorance truly is bliss.
