It asks you a bunch of questions at the start about your language learning experience and says it's personalizing a deck for you, gets you to sign up, and then there's no deck and you're adding everything yourself from scratch, complete deceitware Edit: Your ONBOARDING PROCESS advertises a non-existent feature. You expect me to believe anything you say? Cash-grab that asks you to subscribe to use a free service -gross.

Really love the app. I use it daily on my Apple devices and now on Android. I do have a bug which is with the TTS engine which does not seem to be detected by your app even though it is installed on my phone I can't process TTS on your app in English and Japanese. I'm on a Samsung S24 I would appreciate a solution for that. Besides, it is critical that you offer offline usage for the app.

It just flash cards. literally nothing you cant do with 5$ and a pen. Not worth the asking price. It doesn't even make the cards for you. YOU do that, or use someone elses cards. Youre paying to use other peopls flash cards.

I deleted my account. I shouldn't have downloaded this app from the beginning. I spent a lot of time making my cards when I realized that there is a daily limit. Worst.

I just downloaded this app to help with my comptia A+ study. I only see the retired exams (900 and 1000 series), these exams are not being given anymore they have been retired. The current exam is the 1100 series (1101 and 1102), I searched and I could not find it in this app!!! Makes no sense to study for exams that are retired!

Tried Anki Droid, but Anki Pro is preferable in so many ways - easy to use, aesthetic layout, better timing of the flashcards. I only wish that Anki Droid cards were transferable to Anki Pro.

I paid subscription and tried to use app but couldn't open. Error is coming and unable to use despite paying the subscription. I have now cancelled the subscription and requesting for refund.

I understand there's the "premium" version. But really? There's literally a daily limit. That shouldn't be a premium thing. There's plenty of flashcard apps that don't give you a limit on how many times you can flip a flashcard. That is absolutely silly.

Scam application. How is this app different from AnkiDroid, which is totally free and based off the Anki open source spaced repetition flashcard platform which has been free for over a decade? Does the developer know you're making money repackaging and selling his platform as yours? I see nothing new here except decreased features and functionality from the completely free application. Are you passing this off as your own when it's a ripoff of someone who created the original and offers it free?

This app is ultimate solution of cross platform syncing of my flashcards along with directly making cards by drawing using apple pencil without writing. Really searching for such an app.

I have yet to use it for study yet. But on first look I prefer this so much more over anki droid. Yes it is paid compared to anki being free but I feel it would be worth it because it looks so much nicer visually and I appreciate all the help guides explaining everything. Thank you. 📚👍🎉

The application is one of the best in its segment. However, it has a bug. When purchasing the premium version, which includes the benefit of accessing it from any device, there’s an issue. After subscribing via Google Play (Android), it consistently reverts to the non-premium version when accessed from iOS devices. I opened a support ticket and was advised to uninstall and reinstall the app on all devices. Additionally, if that doesn’t work, I should use the restore function. The first time this

Overall okay, but the spaced repetition doesn't makes sense, if there are several words too hard to remember, even if I mark them as hard (option 4) they are not being repeated after I went through the set. This needs to be fixed.

No idea how well the app works as it seems you cannot use it without searching for then downloading flashcard sets from unknown 3rd parties, the accuracy and quality of which are unknown. Far too much risk in that, so app deleted.

This app still has no off-line learning. It's useless for people travelling abroad - on a plane or without roaming, period. I will not be extending the subscription. I lowered the rating to 1-star now. First AnkiPro cut and pasted response to my review to this question with somebody else's name. What a joke! Second, indeed there was a patch recently saying that SOME users now may be able to download decks for offline use. I still can't. Looking to switch to another app.

I just use the free app for learning japanese, and for someone that isn't super intensely studying it works well for me! you only gey a measly 50 cards per day including your reviews, so not a ton. But, if you are just a hobbyist free is perfect. if you are super dedicated to learning you'll have to buy the full version to get the results you want, but the free works well for me! the spaced repetition process seems to work well for me.

EDIT: First, I have no problem with buying apps outright and, in fact, prefer it to renting. I'd rather not "support" or encourage anyone by paying in advance for work unseen. Do the work and, if I like the features, I'll buy. No, my issue was with your exorbitant cost, and now even more so, since you say it pays for "only...some limitations" over the free version. ORIGINAL: Ridiculously expensive rent ($5/mo, $30/yr) and lifetime ($75) fees, as of Feb 15, 2024.

I just downloaded the app and I got to the point where I could put in a language and I get a choice of "New words", "Grammer" & "both". But no matter which one I click I get the error message "something went wrong resources could not be updated". Perhaps there's something I'm doing wrong and don't understand. Almost seems like there's something I should have downloaded first. However there's no explanation and no preferences button."

I installed this app and paid for a year subscription - twice - and both times, when I opened the app to use it next, it did not acknowledge that I had paid for a subscription. It limits the amount of flashcards you can use in a day unless you have a subscription, but it does not recognize when you pay for a subscription. Very disappointing. I spent a lot of time adding in my study cards and I feel ripped off.

Spaced repetition and custom cards make for a very useful learning tool! For free provides a very usable service and the optional subscription is (imo) appropiately priced for what it adds. Subscription also has optional lifetime option, which is an added plus for long-term learners and people like me who aren't fond of subscription models.
