Update after 1½ years of using: It has its (minor) flaws, but for a free learning app with loads of lessons and absolutely ZERO educational content locked behind a paywall, plus no ads, it is seriously AMAZING and I thank the creators IMMENSELY for their work in making and sharing this app and continuing to add to it. My kids love the advent calendar. The only things locked behind a subscription for the average homeschooling parent are customization options. Everything that's needed is free.💯👌

Disappointed. Website is great and you can use translation tools and all is good. However, the app doesn't allow you to change the language from German even though the option is there. Apparently it's an experimental feature and requires password to use. Hopefully it will go live one day so I can help my kid run the test after reading. As it is, the app is useless to us and we'll go back to using website with Google Translate.

Best app for students' learning. You can also put custom spelling list and custom question answers, and the app will make the learning program itself. It provides very interactive lessons. My child learnt spellings through this app. It has excellent way of teaching spellings. Only draw back is that it gives too much coins. I think the coins should be a bit more costly. Instead of giving 1 coin for every two units of a lessons, it should 1 coin after completing and passi g the test in each skill

I homeschool. I have an account (for free) so I can do the lessons and see how they want them done (if its slightlt confusing, though it hasnt been), and then my child does the lesson on their account (also free). I really enjoy it. This app is one of the ones that I tell all my homeschool friends about. Also, the number of courses??? Absolutely amazing! I am thoroughly impressed. Preschool through 8th grade homeschoolers, come here!

I love Anton for homeschooling my kids. It's completely free with no ads and very user friendly. The games they earn coins to play are fun too. After using it for a while I opted to buy Anton plus. It was just $20 for our family for a year. I got it since I wanted to support the app and be able to pin assignments that I want my kids to do each week. It's not necessary but nice to have that option. Most assignments have a read to me button. I wish all of them did for my autistic son with dyslexia

I think in my opinion this is a great app to use if you want to improve your grades and learn more. Therefore, I think that they should allow to use pen or pencil to work out hard questions and then being able to rub it out. In addition, I think that if you are stuck or confused on a question, I think there should be an example of how to do it so they can understand more, and add some videos. Apart from that, I think it great. Please respond quick and make the changes.

Where can I send a screen shot? There are some "Umkehraufgabe" that result in incorrect and it's false. The example is: 2+5=7 and two of the options are 7-5=2 and 7-2=5 which are both correct, but the app marks only one of them (the third option was completely wrong so I don't remember it). Thanks for double checking!

While I enjoy the content, some things are confusing. In the capitalizing section on grade 2 there is a part where you type the capital letter - one name it shows _amala, which could be filled with C or K, and it counts it wrong with C. Also, on long and short vowels, it doesn't read the words when it wants you to click the right ones and I think it should at least read them to the child so they can hear it said properly.

very good app for refreshing my subjects especially my math and reading science and history I had a hard time I'm considered very slow when it comes to so I really appreciate it's easy to work with I'm starting in kindergarten just because it will help me to remember things from when I was little and had a hard time learning them thank you so much for this it really is a big help I'm 55 years old and I was in special ed class I'm still couldn't keep up with the other students

Pretty solid learning app. It’s free, easy to use, and covers a lot of subjects. Great for brushing up on basics. Would be even better if they added more practice for chemistry, biology, and physics. still deserves 5 stars because of its free and it's actually motivating kids and teens to study more.

Free and ad free is amazing. But the design and navigation are lower end. Of course to be expected. But you can't expect these tinier kids to be able to navigate through this what looks more like file folders. I would just suggest to make it more colorful with pictures or icons to help with the navigation.

I did an internship working on this app in spring/summer 2020. The ANTON app has fun, varied learning exercises that practise phonics, sight words, numbers and so on. Kids earn coins which can be spent on games within the app. The English version of the app is currently available for kindergarten and first grade, but will soon include older grades as well. I really enjoyed the experience of working with the small team, who are very passionate and excited about making the app a success.

Very well-designed app which is completely free. Clearly higher quality and more engaging than most paid options out there. I appreciate the attention to accuracy and up to date information. Some suggestions: 1. Provide some clickable link to report any rare typo on any page. 2. Provide a way to make the mostly tiny images larger, either by allowing pinch to zoom/scrollable zoom, or at least able to pop out an expanded version when touched or clicked on.

Tons of free lessons without limits to how much you can do (at least I haven't hit a limit). It's easy to use and the fact that it also has character customization is awesome. There are games as well which can be played by earning coins. It rewards kids for learning and gives them something fun to look forward to which is smart. Love the app. Very well made.

App is great, sorta. Its free and easy to use. My child loved the pre k section but now that it's gone and he can't finish the puzzle I can't convince him to try any other subject section until he has finished the puzzle section, I understand that pre k is super easy, but it helped my child progress so much I hate that the section helping him was taken away.

Okay, now that I have gotten to know the app it's much better with some things. The letter tracing is still frustrating, but the controls are great! You have to set up a group to run the controls but you can make it so games can't be played & coins can't be earned for lower levels which is nice... It just took some poking around... Still would like the dark mode...

Love this app. No adds and free is awesome!!! My kids love doing the work. I do advise setting up a teacher account and looking over the work. Also devs are still adding work to accommodate different areas of the US. My kids had got behind in their homeschool work and with other programs it's super tedious trying to catch up. With Anton there is NO burnout. It's quick and effective. As an added plus kids finally love learning! Overall, 10 out of 10.
