Great list maker. Got the paid version. Worth every penny. Love that you can share among family members, take pictures for the list items and that there is a windows version. Update: Amazon has screwed up the Alexa interface so it does not now work with our Echo devices. I have yet to get any of the fixes to work. So, I am going to chuck our Echos (4) and keep using Anylist. It's that good!

You can drop having multiple apps & save memory by using this app! Hands down the BEST organizing list, task, recipes app on Google & Apple. It's stable & user friendly with a responsive staff that cares. Don't believe me? Try it and then email the staff. The subscription is worth every penny to help support its continued development & the added features are a plus although even the basic features are worth the download/install. 5 year user

This app is the perfect example of a purpose built app that does what it does extremely well. It is well worth the price for the paid version. My partner and I use the shared lists every day (I work in a grocery store, so she adds to the list to bring home) and web recipes import several times per week as we look for meal ideas. I can't recommend this list highly enough.

The absolute best app for grocery shopping and cooking. It has dramatically reduced the time it takes for me to prepare for shopping and cooking. Every single time I've thought of a feature I wished the app had, I looked and it was there. I updated to premium a week after downloading the app. Honestly the best thing on my phone.

Our go-to grocery app. More than worth the small cost. Excellent way to manage shopping list and in-store shopping. Take the time to group like items to the appropriate section of the store and it really helps cut down "mileage" traveled in supermarket. Record aisle numbers in notes so you know where to find seldom-purchased items (like Equate items at Walmart). It's fantastic for working with recipes! If you subscribe to NY Times Cooking, it integrates seemlessly. Grabs other recipes as well.

Great and functional app! I use it for much more than grocery lists. I also use the app as a to do list, and then delete that list when done. I'm considering purchasing the higher end version. Update: 7/19/24 Still really enjoy this app. it's so easy to use and very convenient for me, for creating all sorts of lists. I do wish Google would support this app.

I didn't actually intend to use more than the shared list function, but then I randomly put a recipe in and was hooked! I wish being able to add recipes from the web imported more than a few times on the free version, but I get developers need money. I love being able to budget by adding only what I need for recipes to my grocery list - I've wasted less food and saved more money!

Update: After using this for several months, there is something that annoys me to no end! If I share this app with my family, they should automatically be able to see every recipe I save. Instead I have to send each recipe individually which is a HUGE pia! Taking off stars for this. I love this app and have recommended it to many people. I use it daily, including the lists , meal plan and recipes. Support responds quickly. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had been using Cheftap for many years, but the developers seemed to abandon it. I read tons of reviews for other grocery or list apps and installed a few before settling on AnyList. A number were uninstalled within minutes. AnyList manages to easily do nearly everything you could possibly want with a list manager and is actively being developed. There are a couple features it still lacks, such as linking one recipe to another recipe, but I can live without those features for now.

Great app. Works on Google and Apple so both of us can add and delete in real time. Edit July 2024 - One of the rare apps I continue to use regularly. Stable, easy to figure out, and love that it is sharable among family. I spent some time commuting to a different city, and was able to create lists for each location. One thing I wish you did though was work with stores to integrate into their lists... So when at Sam's Club--I only need to open one app to check my list AND use Scan and Go...

Used the free version for a few months. Liked the system overall and probably really didn't need to upgrade, but I figure the developers deserved to be compensated for their time and there are a couple of the features in the upgrade that I plan on trying out. I plan on playing with it a little more and see if I can use it for unique purposes other than shopping. I will say that one feature I love is the ability to hide items , not just cross them off, makes it much easier when shopping! 😃

Been using this app for quite some time, and I really like it. I don't use anything near its full feature set, but I have several difference lists in the app: Grocery, Hardware, Car parts, Liquor Store, even a "Target" list. I love that family members can add to if from their phones. I hate that Amazon is forcing the dev to change how it interacts with Alexa, but I'll gladly change my habits to continue using this app over Alexa's or anyone else's lists.

After over a year of using this app, I decided I'll say a little bit about it. Its basic use is sufficient, but our favorite aspect is the shared lists. If one of us is shopping and the other remembers something that was needed, it can be added and automatically updates for the other person, or if we split up in the store we can both mark things off. Simple but sooo useful and efficient!

This app is simple and does exactly what we need it to, and does it without bugs or ads. What more could be asked for? It syncs really well between my husband and I, which was a big frustration we had with other similar apps we tried. I love the ability to write a note on a list item, which is then visible on the list without having to open up the specific item details. That makes it really easy to specify, like a particular brand or product option for my partner when they're doing the shopping.

Very advanced and great for organizing list for multiple stores. But it can be an absolute mess if you accidentally do not set categories correctly! For new users, just be patience and stick with it because it is worth it! The biggest tip is just make sure you are displaying the correct category set in filters. Feedback: there needs to be future support for tax percentage. Also, the interface really needs an update. It feels a little dated. Bottom line it's the best grocery list app.

So, how do we turn off the "order pickup or delivery" and "share, email or print list" showing up as two extra added entries in every list? the app was so perfect and beautiful without these there distracting! it needs to be gone it needs to be only in the menu, it distracts from the list itself, people who have no trouble focusing and remembering lists don't need this app, so these distracting unnecessary additions to the list defeat the purpose of keeping a list.

I love this app!!! I am such a list person and I use AnyList for every list imaginable. I share lists with others when shared list management is needed. I also love the recipe import feature and how easy it is to keep everything organized. I have access on all of my devices which makes it easy to keep up with all of my information. I can't recommend this app enough. And I have introduced it to friends, family, and clients. And the price is unbeatable. A lot of value for the money.

It is no exaggeration to say this app has changed my life. I finally have found the perfect list app, perfect recipe storage, perfect meal planner. There is no challenge that Anylist hasn't thought of and addressed. I would (and do) recommend this to everyone. It makes all the chores related to list keeping, shopping, and meal planning an absolute breeze and a joy. I cannot say enough good about this app. Thank you to the devs for your efforts on this app.

I can't fault AnyList for my complaints, hence the 5 stars, but I paid for premium because I found the Alexa integration and real-time updates incredibly useful. It's now unwieldy and frankly unpleasant to utilize. The app is still incredibly useful, and i still use it every day for recipes and meal planning, but I'm finding its core function has been stymied. The only thing I could ask for is the ability to add custom fields into the item details. I keep lists of everything, not just shopping.

I rarely pay for an app, but the annual subscription fee for this little gem is well worth it. It isn't limited to grocery lists, though it's great for those. I make all sorts of lists & I know right where to find them. I've started using it for recipes & find it to be the easiest way to store those & keep them available. AnyList is well thought out and laid out. Very intuitive & actually does make life easier. The rarest of all things techy - nice looking & deceptively simple. Try it out!
