The doorbell is draining battery power very quickly after a software release. The doorbell needed charged once every 3 months, now it is one per week. At the same time the company is proving advice/tips on how to save power.

Best app for my Aosu d1 SE 3K camera ever. It works and records even when the internet is down and I can see everything when the internet is up again. The only camera that records with 3k resolution on the cloud. The other cameras record with 1080 only. The tracking is perfect. Tech support is perfect.On top of all,it records at 20 fps which equals many 4k cameras that record at 15 fps.Wow, perfect is more than perfect.I am also using a 512 gb micro sd card with no problems .

While the application is generally okay, the snooze/silence features do not function properly at all. It's impossible to silence alerts when there is something like yard work happening, resulting in an endless stream useless of notifications. We are getting notification fatigue from this app and the only apparent solution is to disable notification permissions at all.

We have purchased a couple of AOSU products that use the app. Video doorbell, security cameras, with more to come. The app is easy to use and readily switches between one device and another. I find the features work well and definitely take advantage of the pan/zoom aspects. If there is a downside, it is the lag between captured activity and notification on the phone. I definitely recommend the app/devices and have used both for almost 2 years.

At first, it was working perfectly, then had some issues with the detection it was detecting everyone far/near, I have contacted support they tried very very hard helping the situation. But the problem was persisting they came out with a new update on the app & everything is perfectly fine now. again, the support is amazing, and they are keen to help rectify the situation. I've honestly never experienced great customer care and service as this company. I totally recommend it!

Previously had issues with not being able to control the volume while playing back events. This appears to have been resolved as I can now adjust the volume as normal. Phone is a POCO X3 NFC. Cannot fault support who, to be fair, did respond regularly but were unable to help at the time - looks like we got there in the end with a possible recent update.

I have used Aosu security camera and this app for more than one year, and this app can do all I want, especially sensitivity I want. With such setting, the camera can recording all events on my drive way without people walking dogs. Another impressive feature is Intelligent Night Vision, and the picture color in night is very clear by switching to it. This app is very convenient to trace video recording, and I can easily find the video any time since I installed my camera last year(128 Gb).

Honestly, it feels like a dollar store camera system. It records, but you can only start view after seconds after events even with sensitivity up. I'm not ever able to view the first few seconds of the footage. Very delay recording, but it does alert you right away if it's triggered. I blame the bad equipment .

Currently, there are many bugs. I will get alerts for events that happened an hour ago, and then both of my cameras will show dozens upon dozens of repeat events in the list. It's losing its touch, not to mention the grammar throughout needs serious help. It's forcing loyal users to come on here and share concerns publicly. I perform UX consults, so I can see this is a communication breakdown between engineer and operations. Fixable, but must be done quickly save their reliability.

We currently have ours for a pet cam, and it's really neat, but I do have to side with the majority. The software needs to be strengthened and built upon. The last couple of times I've logged in to check on my pup it will pull the live feed but show me a still image that was timestamped hours ago. Ive unplugged, I've synced, I've restarted, but its come to the point we have reached out to online support via the app, so hopefully we hear something.

Overall smooth app. There is a variety of user ratings because each Aosu camera model has different app features and performance behaviors. One improvement request: Provide an easier, faster way to log in / out of accounts, without retyping the entire email addresses. I monitor numerous households, each with separate accounts. The app has a camera sharing function, which is great for other family members. But as an administrator, I often need admin access. Tedious to log out / in each time.

Video playback pauses often. The worst is that the audio always plays at max volume and is not subjected to the current phone audio setting. Trying to adjust the volume using my phone's (S21ultra) physical volume controls during playback also has no effect. Very annoying when trying to watch a video of a doorbell event with others present.

When it works it's great but the app crashes a lot which is really unfortunate when you're using it as a baby monitor. We'll wake up in the middle of the night and the connection has been lost but no matter how many times you refresh and close the app it won't reconnect. You finally have to restart your phone and even then it doesn't always work. It crashes on average about twice per night when the app is open constantly. When it's closed and reopened it won't connect 30% of the time.

Honestly I think this App can only improve. This camera has a ton of features. Right now it's only really limited by the software. I feel they should get together with vicohome programmers. Since vicohome is much more intuitive. Tracking is a great feature. Software makes it almost unusable. Recording human only detection is really an awesome feature except I need to track and film cars and even animals and sometimes all three which makes that feature almost useless. Battery usage is High.

So far so good. I just installed the 4 channel pro. I seem to be struggling to get the audio alarm to go off at night. I'd recommend the devs just make a minor change... allow the audio alarm feature at night after a certain amount of motion activity from an AI ID of a human. Maybe I'm not using it right, but I've ran several tests & the Audio Alarm won't trigger at night.

Good app. Never disappoints. Been using the cameras for about four months now. The app is easy to use and easy to set up everything. Depending on your actual cameras the app allows for many different changes. I can talk through it, take screen shots, turn the lights on the cameras, use the siren, and more. Allows for user settings and even away or home mode. I'm getting more of these cameras. Great buy!

I installed SolarCam D1 Classic Kit a couple of months ago. I installed the app on iPad and my Android mobile. So far everything works great, It looks the connection is good & I can monitor any movements from my workplace, and home & check the records. I think the only issue is they should put an AAA battery as a backup on the camera base cause sometimes I receive an alert that says if you use the camera lots you will go out of power. In general, I am happy with the style & the performance.
