Only got tree stares because it would not let me post two stars. In fairness articles are good when, and or if you can read them through all the add pushing , (even when pushing and add blocks are active) and at times even have too close app and reopen because add will not respond to close as if trying to force you to open it. Then tells you that you are a subscriber, but tries to charge you for unreadable add blocked content. No time for games,... app un=installed

They certainly are good with keeping me up to date on all the local news. There are also many other interesting articles to read throughout the app. So far over all I've been happy with this app and the many different options and articles they provide to read and choose from.

Way too many alerts I swear my phone is just steadily going off from alerts. It is rather annoying all hrs DING! DING! DING DING!!!!!! Ill get twenty alerts in a matter of just a few mins, and then in order to see some of the news it's tryn to get me to watch I have to download another news app through this to see that one. It's a news channel telling you about other news channels.....

One of the few apps that can distinguish Las Vegas NM from Las Vegas NV and give me the appropriate local news. However, twice in the past week I got a full screen TikTok ad that completely took over the phone and could only be shut off by restarting. After the second time, I uninstalled it.

Had it for30 minutes, all ads. Ads, ads on top of ads on top of other ads. Annoying, you have to wade through miles of ads which can even make you get lost in a sea of junk products , only to find out you are not even on the same story that you started on. Exasperating. I deleted the app. My sanity is worth more than some rabbit hole gossip app.

I appreciate that the title correlates with the content. User friendly, I get the news I want. Ads are not out of line, some quite interesting things. I have deleted two other News Apps, similar but they had the title problem. The articles are also legible appear to have been proofed. I will recommend this App to my friends.

Way too many ads now. This latest update has killed the app for me. Having to clear an ad every thirty seconds after opening one article isn't worth it. Also, probably around 85% of the articles are clickbait or are produced by bots. It legit warns of that once you're in the article but by then, you're closing another ad...

Ads run ramped. Constantly alterted about fake "news" stories that are either fictional or many months/years old. Can't customize homepage to default to local news upon app startup, you're forced to see the fake garbage and many adds. Video section is horribly organized and difficult to use to find videos. All around garbage app newsbreak is much better.

It would be a great app if not for the fact that every time I click on a story to read the adds or something move the screen as soon as i begin to read and i lose my place, and when I try to readjust the screen to where I left off it just moves it again, I actually got so sick of consistently losing my place that I just Uninstalled it from my phone, maybe ill check again in a few months to see if it has been improved

On the plus side, it's fast. On the minus side, it's nearly impossible to find actual news amidst right-wing articles from sites I've never heard of, and posts by random people about their pets. App appears to want to be everything to everyone (well, everyone on the right, anyway), and ends up a jumbled mess. Awful. Uninstalling.

I have nearly contstant notifications from the his app. One, so far, has seemed interesting. But when I clicked on it, I was taken to a page that wants to make that app my home screen. There is no way to say no, don't be my home screen or any way to see the article I originally clicked on. I would really love to meet the people responsible for this app in person... You'll see why

would like to get more breaking good news as opposed to so much of the this person killed that person or someone else was found in a freezer, other than that you cover news from everywhere which I like but in hindsight it's probably why there's so much bad news as you cover a lot of ground... I also like the option to read and post a comment, reminds me of reading letter to the editor when I was a kid.

It's like trying to read the news in the middle of Times Square at night: flashing lights, endless ads, brilliant colors, mind-boggling variety of text fonts. It's so distracting, it isn't worth it even though it's free (WITH ADS! ADS! ADS! Did I mention ADS???!!)

Doesn't work very well. Clips take a long time to load, lots of them don't play at all. My phone which I've never had a problem with at all started kicking me out of web sites switching me to random screens and over heating so much the phone kept turning off. I don't know if the app had anything to do with that but I deleted it to be safe. The videos were interesting. Just keep an eye on it if you download.

If the app didn't have so many phishing articles, it would be a different experience. When you download a free news app, that is what you expect. Instead, I'm greeted by articles that I have to buy another app to read. But yes, there are free articles as well.

I don't like the stories that aren't news to me or many others or the stories that pop up multiple times for no reason I do use this and one other app regularly but seriously there should be something that says u already read something similar or shows it as read etc I'll change it to 5 again if u update these little changes I hope you do

Had to uninstall...ads placement all over, searching for original target article is difficult, a messy set up. Overstimulating and stressful as opposed to relaxed news reading I'm looking for. Some stories are similar to the headline but not the same. Some headlines just don't have the story. On one article, an ad for an app came up, I couldn't even back out of it to get back to the article. Had to exit Apex and start again. I guess that's spam. No bueno for me.

Absolutely Awfull App ,You are only in the App for less than a minute when you start getting FULL PAGE ads while your still trying to set it up, The full page ads you get hold to long and The X on the page to get rid off the Ad has obviously been made so small you end up opening the advertisement which I suppose has been done purposely, Went back to Opera News because it's no to bad

It's got everything and the constant updates are great. Its as close to the best news app as you can get and it covers everything, every topic, sports, entertainment, movie trailers, I would of given it a 5 star rating but nobody and nothing is perfect. Always room for improvement. Although I don't see much more they can do? They got it covered pretty well.

I was trying to see the difference between this and their Opera Newsapp and there isn't a difference. Same exact app, just a slightly different name and app picture. If anyone is wondering. So, I'm only keeping 1 of them. It seems to work well. UI isn't bad or frustrating. The apps are too bad either. The UI smoothness could be better even with how the apps are shown. Other than that, good app.
