The app is STILL missing Star Ratings for parity like on iOS and Mac devices. This is frustrating because most of my smart playlists are built based on star ratings. Start/stop times set in options on Mac or iTunes do NOT carry over to android. if I set the start time of a song at 1:00, it still plays the first minute of the song.. On iOS and Mac it starts at 1:00 like it should. Also audio volume adjustments in Apple music on my Mac don't carry over into playback on Android app like on ios

The app will sign me out and it delete my entire downloaded library and I have to redo everything all over again. Very annoying, the app will freeze now all the time and currently it won't even play music. This has to be the worst made app ever. I wish I could give it less than 0 stars. It's fine if you don't make it for Android devices, but if the app doesn't work on Android devices then it shouldn't be available because it's a complete and total waste of everyone's time.

Honestly, terrible... Sure you get your music selections, albums, yada yad, But for what? Hands free is a fantasy when using this app with how much it crashes. I've deleted apps, cleared up space, and restarted my device, yet it still crashes. What's the point of listening to music and then mid activity you need to grab the device, unlock the screen, restart the app, restart the song, and ruin the entire moment. Workouts suck using the app, unless you have it unlocked the entire time. -1/10

After the January 2024 update the settings defaulted to replay instead of playing more music like the song that was selected. It was nice hearing new music mixed in with faves. And it always resets to the beginning of the song you searched now instead of where you left off. Need to have the ability to change the default preference in settings.

Honestly a limited selection of choices, but my biggest complaint is the settings. I can't seem to find a way to turn off auto playing random music after my playlists finish. The redeeming qualities are simply that it's organized and easy to navigate. But I wish it wouldn't shove music down my throat. App has progressively gotten worse, and consistently now refuses to play certain songs randomly in my playlists. Ridiculous that I pay for this broken app, you have billions Apple. Fix your product

I can no longer listen to music!!! I downloaded and subscribed to this years ago when Google music was gone so I could keep listening to my favorite songs. However since the update, I haven't been able to listen to music in my car via Bluetooth or at home now even though I'm next to my router and have signal! All I get is the loading bar and sometimes a note that says "not available in Apple Music US store" this is highly disappointing and I am dissatisfied. PLEASE fix this issue!

Apple LOVES to modify the music I previously uploaded to the cloud. Songs that I purposely uploaded are "safe for work". However, the app loves to substitute "re-recorded" versions, live versions, or explicit versions. By the way, I have explicit content blocked from even showing up on my searches. And also have to ALWAYS log in whenever I redeem a damn iTunes card. Defaulting every sign on to show automatic Cross fading is garbage. Absolutely no way to turn it off upon sign in. I DON'T WANT IT

Seems like the app is getting worse? Downloaded songs will buffer worse than non-downloaded songs at times, which can be very inconvenient if you want to set and forget your music. If I try to listen to an album, often the app will skip the first song and try to start on the 2nd track. Two artists which I recently added are stuck to the top of my artists tab, ignoring the alphabetical sorting. Just feels like it's getting messier instead of better.

This app is my number one go to since its so simple to use and search through. It's easy to find the music that you want and the way they organize it and constantly keep you updated is what I want and I love it. The only reason I took one star off is that when I add a new song to my Playlist the lyrics do not show up when I hit play on the Playlist for the song. Although when I hit play on "Recently released" or on the artists own page the lyrics do show up and I'd like it to be able to do both.

Sound quality is better than Spotify when it's playing but there seems to be a wired thing where it sounds like to goes from wide stereo to like mono for a while then comes back to normal again. Then sometimes it gets quiet where volume is like very low and then gets loud again even while playing the same song. Only seems to do this on the Android version not on my iPhone 13 pro.

[EDITED] The app has been working slower and slower. Songs I've listened multiple times have to load even with wifi turned on With the most recent update, I can't load The Search Bar and is telling me it is unable to connect to Apple Music. I've tried logging out and in and NOW I can't log in. I put in my information and it doesn't log me in. I Pay for Apple Music but I am considering changing if this doesn't get resolved.

Just started using the app and service, and so far so good. Audio quality is good, and for the most part I find the app easy to use. As of now, my only real nitpick is that the battery on my phone seems to drain a little quicker using this app/service than the others I have tried. It's not a terrible drain, but definitely can stand to be improved.

A couple bugs and freezes but overall good app. My second review ever since this recent update of a few days ago it's play and stops and workouts don't feel the same. Fix this problem apple. My 3rd review 3-4-27 ever since my second review and this new update apple music sucks. The songs stop and go I can't play anything so I'm going to you then a few days to fix it or I'll find another streaming service.

The sound quality can be wonky and the app itself is annoying to use. I've always hated how some of my playlists' pictures will disappear and just leave it as a grey square instead. It's pretty buggy with playlist and songs covers in general, they flicker for some reason it's strange. Sometimes the app will completely skip a song that was going to play as well. While playing a song the song volume/quality will go lower or higher randomly. Overall, improve the Android version of this app.

DOES NOT PLAY DOWNLOADED SONGS WITHOUT A CONNECTION Wasting 80gb of space on my phone on music I can only listen to with an internet connection, like the rest of the app! Woohoo! Can't listen to a recommended Playlist because it gets stuck loading the first song. Problem of randomly refusing to play ANY song seems even more prevelant. They successfully made this app worse. Getting rid of the "Listen Now" title was very suitable.

(2024 Update) previously 1 star. I use Apple music on my android and have for the past 5 years. After Google bought YouTube and ditched play music I jumped ship and went to this. The music recommendations are great. The sound quality is fantastic. I really enjoy the playlists that are generated every month and I especially love the playlist for the songs that I played the most from the previous year (replay). The cost is a bit steep but they all are. Glad I tried this platform again. 5 out of 5*

Can't go wrong with this one. I've found Apple's music archives to be much more extensive than that of an Amazon or Play Music. However...on Android the "Search" feature takes some tweaking and its irritating. I go to search for an artist and the app goes stupid. That maddening spinning circle which indicates it's thinking. And it never finishes thinking until I close and reopen the app. Why is that?

One star review because it's bad about letting you listen to new music right when it drops. TTPD NOW. Also 1989 TV, but they did much better with eternal sunshine. Love the sound quality, the replay playlist, and the general layout of this app. I only don't enjoy how glitchy it gets sometimes, even with music I've downloaded. I've had cases where I'm driving and just the music goes out, and there are no issues using other functions on my phone. So I do wish it was more reliable.

Very disappointed. This app is not good simply for the fact that if there is a brief interruption in service (either due to switching Wi-Fi Networks, or Wi-Fi to cellular, or spotty Wi-Fi or cellular network) WHILE a track is playing or about to play, that track will remain corrupted and unplayable until sometime in the future. That usually means a few days, which seems to indicate that the memory for that app needs a chance to clear. That is massively inconvenient.

I was offered Apple Music for 4 months for free. So I downloaded it with plans to cancel just before the 4 months were up. Before I decided to try this music app, I had Amazon Music. I thought it was pretty good....I was happy with it, but not ecstatic. Well, readers, I am ECSTATIC about Apple's music app!! One of the best features is the Playlist. The transition from song to song is simply AMAZING!! Amazon music just had about 4 seconds of dead air between songs. Apple transitions so perfectly
