Great concept, terrible execution. It was unable to measure a patch of ground outside, constantly making me start over a couple of seconds into the first side. I managed to get one side, but it showed 6' for what I'd call about 20'. It also forced my phone into thermal shutdown (which has never happened before. Pixel 5a) in the first 5 minutes.

This is just a base install. The moment you launch it and select an option you are forced to download another aspect of the application. Furthermore they want like 90 bucks a year. Finally it is not accurate at all. I measured the surface with an actual measuring tape and it measured at 69in. Using the app it told me the same surface was 100+ inches.

Terrible. Heavy with ads, difficult to navigate, kept wanting me to install additional things to get it to do the thing it's supposed to do from the beginning. ETA: the developer clearly didn't understand what I was saying. To clarify: I downloaded a FREE app. Tried to use it. It kept telling me I HAD to install another app in order to work. It didn't stop, wouldn't let me use the app- just kept wanting me to install more apps. That's not ads, that's a paid only app PRETENDING to be free.

Comically bad app is an exemplar of everything wrong with modern app development and developers. Let's get it out of the way up front: no aspect of this app works in any way. It simply cannot measure anything. On top of it's total lack of functionality, it wants you to subscribe. For tens of dollars per month, to an app that simply doesn't work. Shameful. If you don't subscribe —or for all I know even if you do—it blasts video ads.

The paid subscription is insanely high priced, but beyond that, the app is bad. Only used it for a few things around the house to test it, and kept an actual tape measurer to compare. Even though the estimations are not too bad, the AR itself is very easily confused. If you move your camera at all, it changes the starting point of the object you are measuring.

Pretty good at estimating distances and very good at keeping track of where the nodes are in AR space even when you move around or cover the camera. My only issue is that I cannot make a one time purchase, and $20 a month would still be ludicrous. If the features could be purchased instead of subscribed, I would have. I have no qualms paying $20 total for a good ruler, per month though is irresponsible

You cannot fully open the app, or even hit the back button without subscribing for a cost $90. If you cancel before the trial is over, you won't be charged, but there is no free version of this app and it's deceptively framed as a free app with optional subscription. Edit: after the developers response I checked again and it's possible to exit the subscription screen, but the "x" is blocked by the camera on my pixel 4a. Not quite as deceptive as I thought originally but still not good.

The app works very well. It gets the job done, but takes a little practice. Some of the app restrictions are ridiculous. Anyone can take a screenshot to save to a photo gallery. I confirmed the forced rating popup did appear after backing out to the main screen. I could not get past it without closing the app. It must work if it hasn't been addressed as an issue. I will be uninstalling at this time.

A bit buggy and inconsistent, but generally very good and accurate. Definitely not a replacement for precision measuring tools or complex measurements. It's not really intended to be, and most of the inconsistencies are likely not the fault of the app itself. My main gripe is the obtrusiveness of the ads and their frequency. I like to remove a star if an app asks me to rate them constantly, so here's that.

When I first used it, it worked well. After using it for a while, it now struggles to find the surface to measure. Most times it won't even recognize the surface. Equally annoying are the endless ads. After 3 mins of using the app, I went through 4-5 ads and all I needed was one single measurement. Still wasn't even able to make the measurement, so I just deleted the app.

heh heh smart developer. Once I installed on my new Android s10e and got it working, there is no way to turn the app off beside restarting the phone. There is probably an on-off button/link somewhere on this thing, but I could NOT find it after 10 minutes of searching. Also, drowns you with ads, and automatically links to them before you even have a chance to try the app out, to see if you want to buy it. EXPENSIVE - $9.95.

Poor pricing and not enticing. The subscription is insane. I'd pay $10 for a lifetime access, but $90 a year is absurd. Crazy enough that I wouldn't consider it even if I needed to measure a cylinder, because in the end I'm going to check with a tape measure anyway. The features work and estimate well, but the constant ads and locked features are an instant uninstall.

No. Just no. Tries to get you into an $85/yr subscription right at the start. Hits you with zillion ads before you even get to the start, most of them with a big install button so you think it's part of the app. Hard to even find the app behind all the ads cluttering the interface. "Measured" 30cm object as 100cm. So, on top of it all, wildly inaccurate.

Never have I seen a "free" app force soooo many ads on you. I get it, ads pay the bill and allow it to be used free but when you can't use it for 5 minutes without an interrupting ad, people just delete the app. The price for subscription is just silly high considering it is not yet a reliable method of measurement. People will lidar phones may have a better experience

There is too much ad and too much begging for money that renders it unusable. I shouldn't have to see an ad every time i click on something. The app asks if you want to pay up for premium version every time when I launch it. Then, it asks several times before I even get to see what the app can do. At the end of the day, the app is sluggish and useless. Avoid this app. How it has a 4-star rating is very puzzling.

I don't usually write reviews, but this app is absolutely amazing. I was blown away with its capabilities being able to measure distances, angles, and volume. The thought put into it is absolutely amazing. It's incredibly handy, and the accuracy is very impressive. Unfortunately, I can't afford it at the moment but I REALLY enjoy using the app. However, it's understood that sometimes they have giveaways and discounts - so I'll be keeping on the lookout! 😃

This app is garbage. It is beyond me on how it has four stars. Open the app, explains how to do it, still picture, hit back button to retry, black screen crashes. They are delusional if they think anyone would willingly pay a monthly subscription for an app that doesn't even function. My phone is more than capable to run an AR program, but this app acts like it isn't. 0/10. Please do not install this trash app.

This appears to be a well designed and probably quite useful tool. I'll never know for sure. You can't actually use the 3-day free trial until you hand over your payment details, and if you forget to unsub you're paying the minimum $20/month ($90/year) subscription fee. That's a pretty hefty subscription price! I wouldn't find it worth that fee for a tool that I'd probably only use three to four times a year. Sorry, no sale.

Your app works better then Samsung's does. I could at least measure the height of my truck with your app. The problem with your app, after measuring the height several times I got everything from 11' 2" to 13' 7". Which is a big difference when trying to figure out if my truck will fit under a bridge. We're told the trailers are 13' 6". So your app is within the range. But I was hoping to get a better reading.

terrible, would not recommend. immediately pushes ads and it's paid version (for whatever reason) in your face in the form of 3 banners you have to click through. Then you have to navigate through an unintuitive menu to even find ruler, which barely functions and can't detect height to save it's life. find something else.
