Every single time I open the app, I have to log in again. Then I get an email about someone signing in to my account. Just really obnoxious to warn he about it if you won't keep me logged in... Also, the way delivery and service fees are split is ridiculous. Seemed really scummy, especially when during the pandemic you advertised "free delivery" when you just upped the fee, split it in two, and left the more expensive fee. I appreciate the free coupons now, but still a little unnecessary...

Decent app, but no GPS on driver location is pretty weird. It's 2019 and all of their competitors have that feature. Sometimes they put other orders ahead of yours despite saying it's en route. GPS location on drivers would be ideal so you'll know when to expect them. Waitr ETAs are often grossly inaccurate. In-app search feature is often wonky and doesn't work as well as it should. You also can't create multiple orders like Postmates, so if you change restaurant you have to empty your cart.

I honest to goodness never leave reviews. It's to much of a hassle usually, but this will be a exception. The app made it very easy to look through the food selection (unfortunately it's limited) and to order. It also keeps real time of your order from the moment to you pay. Our order actually arrived about 20min earlier than the app had listed, but we were aware because you can watch the progress of your order. Plus the delivery driver was extremely friendly. ** 5 Star app for sure **

This app is full of bugs. Recreating a previous order to "Order Again" never works. The search functionality rarely turns up what you specifically typed in for the search. You usually have to scroll down through a list of restaurants that you don't want to order from, and that's if a list pops up at all. Not to mention that my profile is never remembered after short periods between using the app and I always have to sign in again. I also had a bad experience with support after a bad order.

Taking a hard-line against spam/offers going out on the General notification channel. Implement a separate channel for offers and promotions. I'm afraid to disable General notifications for fear of missing something more important, but the frequent free delivery coupon offers are annoying... Implement an "offers" or "free delivery" notification so that I can disable them separately.

We have been long time users of the Waitr App, and while it has had its ups and downs and we have had great delivery experiences as well as poor ones (very late deliveries, cold food, items missing, etc) the newest change to Waitr in our area has made this app nearly useless to us. We are now outside the delivery area for nearly every decent restaurant in town (from 7.1 miles away to a ridiculously close 2.51 miles away). The concept is great. The execution is okay. The management is poor.

Though Waitr is very convenient, and the delivery time is pretty fast, there are a few issues with the service. 1. If you forget to order an item, you either have to pay another delivery fee. The restaurant will not add the item. 2. if your order is delivered wrong or missing an item, you have to wait for chat. I'm still waiting after 4 days. I wouldn't even eat what was sent, so I just stayed hungry. there is no immediate correction, and no phone # for service.

While I am all for ASAP and their great customer service, as of late, the app has a lot to be desired. It has crashed on more than one occasion & after being uninstalled, then re-downloaded, it still refuses to connect previously used social media accounts or send notifications. It's becoming extremely frustrating to use.

TERRIBLE. Shows you a bunch or vendors, then you find out those dont deliver to your area. All the while, your location is in there. Then your saved password doesn't work anymore, you have to hit the send email button 3 different times before you actually get the email to reset. THEN YOU CLICK ON IT AND IT SAYS IT CANNOT FIND THAT PAGE!! DELETED APP AND WONT GO BACK. Update, daughter just put in an order on her account and 20 min later the order was never even accepted. Chat with rep failed!

Slow service and lack of customer support are the reasons for the low rating. I have had issues with orders taking 1+ hrs to arrive and then when it arrived the order was incorrect. I sent customer support a message (because there isn't a number you can call) and it has been over two days with no response. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will be using grubhub or ubereats in the future.

I've ordered twice and had problems both times. Not sure if it was the restaurant or waitr, or just bad luck. The first time it took 3 hours before getting my order, the second time food was missing. Also, the app has all kinds of bugs. It never tells you when the food is being delivered, it just stays on 'preparing order now.' Also when contacting support it won't let you change the reason you are contacting them. I may give it one more chance, but haven't decided yet.

This was my first and favorite go to app for food. The service and delivery workers were top notch in my book. I never had any problems at all. But now I can' t even use the app. It won't except my card all of a sudden. I've done everything I possibly could to rectify the situation from my end. Hopefully something can change and l can use the app again soon.

Delivery hasn't been an option for nearly a month now. Only pickup is available...why would I pay higher than menu prices to pickup my own food when I can order straight from the restaurant and pick it up. Edit: Still trash. Months later and still no delivery option. Door dash is much better and have had no issues with them!!

The app (and the website) never same your login and then they send an email alert every time you do. Sometimes it's a little buggy about loading/refreshing. I've had to contact customer service about 1/3 of the time for my order being incorrect. Sometimes they answer in 5 minutes, sometimes it's taken a few hours to respond. Today was the last time. I'm uninstalling the app. I'd rather call the restaurant and pick it up myself.

It is a good app with a great selection but that is quickly made irrelevant by the actual delivery quality. I cannot remember a single time where my food wasn't late by anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours, usually at leat 30 minute. they literally only have 1 job, deliver food and they can't even do that in a manner that would be close to timely. Another major issue is on a fairly regular basis they will forget at leat I part of you're order entirely, it's been up to half the order at one point.

Since the quarantine, my family and I have been ordering from Waitr more often. The process is usually simple and quick. The food sometimes arrives quicker than the estimated arrival time, which I appreciate, especially when I'm hungry. If I spend a lot of time using this app, it's only because of the many wonderful options available and the difficulty of pinpointing what I'm hungry for at the time.

Restaurant list came up but I had to click each one individually to find out they don't deliver in my area! Thank you for responding. These restaurants came up as delivery until I clicked on them. That is what frustrated me. Updated review: I have been trying Waitr for a few months. The service has improved immensely. The main issues I've had are drivers not reading instructions and restaurants not providing the quality one would expect. Thank you Waitr for the improvements!

Terrible experience!! They won't allow you to speak to a real person on the phone. Their "Supervisors" don't identify themselves in line. They called in my order too early and delivered it an hour an hour earlier then I requested and left it outside in Florida's heat. I'm sure there are more caring companies out there. I miss Delivery Dudes. Larger is NOT always better. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Good service, alerted me when my food was on the way and as it was arriving... The only problem I have is that there is a delivery charge AND a Fee that is hidden with the Taxes, then there's a tip which is expected, np... But the price of the food is also higher ordering through the app, so it's like they jack the price 3 times on you!!!

I love being an asap driver. However, I do have a few issues with the app. I don't like the automated responses when trying to contact someone through messenger when I have an issue. Most of the responses aren't right, point me in the wrong direction, or just abruptly stop responding. Then, when you're waiting on an agent, they either never respond or they do and then fall off the face of the earth mid conversation. Also, there's an issue with me having to sign in every time I use the app.
