Half the time when I log in I can't do anything. I try to select an account and nothing happens, it's like it's frozen. Also, connectivity with other money-managing apps is horrible. Constantly says account is inactive and doesn't reconnect when putting in correct credentials. Why are there so many glitches with the Associated Bank system and apps? Frustrating.

The app can load up your accounts fine, but for the credit card account, there should be a due date for your payment coming up. Also, an option like the old version to automatic sign in with the user name. Edited - (4/4/2023) The app has approved a lot but doesn't have a way to contact associated bank after signing in? I also don't see a option to be able to report a lost/stolen card?

I've used this app for a while now. The update, to me, has a few issues - "Instant Balance," which I usually use for a quick view, used to be just that - instant. Now it sits on "Syncing," whether on mobile or local Wifi, for quite some time - it's noticably slower. More concerning is that the Instant Balance screen doesn't *close* when you switch to something else like the home screen - come back a day later, switch to the AB app, and it's still up with that information. That NEEDS to close.

App used to be very nice. There was also an option for receiving text alerts. Then they updated the app and took it away in favor of push notifications that never come through. And it doesn't even load on my new phone. Got the one plus 6t and the app crashes instantly. It doesn't even open. I'll click the icon and it immediately gives me a message saying app stopped. Just make it how it used to be please or at least make some optimizations with this new version.

Well, it's was working decently, but now, no matter how many times I uninstall and re download it. It completely freezes the second it opens. Doesn't matter if it's on WiFi or cellular data. My phone isn't the issue either because every other app, including ones that require significantly more processing speed, are working perfectly. I use the app almost daily, so this is a huge hassle to me. Please fix it soon. Thanks!

Slight frustrations. I hate that the width of the columns for the account names is three characters. Even the last four digits of the account number are split in half. And why are there so many lines between accounts, unless it is fun to force you to scroll and oops, ran right past it...! Also, why bother to have account names when they don't show up in the list? And every time the app updates the fingerprint login gets dumped. I'm pretty sure the point of a fingerprint login is to be easier.

Definitely liked the old version of the app more. Even with all of its flaws. While this one looks better it it rarely functions for me. Half the time it will never fully load. I just get the logo and the login screen never comes up. Even after 30 minutes of waiting. Even after restarts, cache cleared, data cleared, app uninstalled and reinstalled. When it does manage to actually load to the login screen it takes far too long. It's faster to open the website and just use that vs this app.

Using the app is not a reliable means for banking There have been multiple times I could not access my account, pay a biller, or transfer money between my accounts because of system issues. There are often long delays for a bill to be paid, because of built-in delays for sending the payment, weekends, and holidays. This results in my always having to have a backup plan which greatly reduces the benefit the app could provide.

crashes most of the time when I try to log in. restarting the phone usually fixes that. often takes several tries to get it to accept a check for deposit. has useful features, but I wish it worked better. Update: doesn't crash anymore, but depositing a check doesn't work. It keeps telling me it can't find an endorsement on the check even though there clearly is one. And no way in the app to get help.

I have issues with this app loading in constantly. I got a new phone and can't get the app to open up. Just sits on loading screen. I use to have this issue but reset my phone and it would fix the problem. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled numerous times..reset my phone numerous times. It still does not work. If they don't fix this soon I'm going to a different bank all together...I need the convenience.

Every single day, multiple times a day, when i go into my bank app it pops up error messages and tells me to contact customer support. After either closing the app and reopening the app probably about 6 or 7 times, it finally works. Otherwise if i uninstall it and reinstall it, it works right away. But only for a day or so. It NEVER used to be like this before. And it really sucks because i use this app more than any of the other apps on my phone.

EDIT 3/6/22: Got a new phone, and the app still doesn't work! Is it ever getting fixed? When I click on it from the main screen or the play store, it flashes for a second then goes back to the previous screen. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app EVERY TIME I want to check my accounts. If I don't, I only see the loading screen. There were no updates to fix it either.

When I'm dealing with my bank account is when I expect an app to operate smoothly and reliably. I can't even open this app without freezing, crashing, or some weird technical difficulty. Depositing checks via mobile is the only reason I don't abandon my AB account for another bank, and this app makes it nearly impossible to do that. I don't live near a physical branch location or I'd just go there. Mobile banking should be convenient!

It has improved, but still has issues. With the latest update the app shows an error message for about a second then the app closes. I had to use another device to take a picture of the screen to have time you read the error message. It says it can't be run if the phone's USB debugging option is enabled, something app developers use. It gave the same error with that turned off. Had to uninstall and reinstall with that turned off to get the app to run.

It's been at least 6 months now that I haven't been able to use the mobile deposit (ever since I upgraded to a Pixel 6 Pro) because the camera to take photos of the checks closes half a second after opening, every, single, time. Reading the other reviews, it seems it's not unique to my device at all, so they apparently don't test their apps very well, nor do they care about negative feedback. The app itself consistently makes me want to switch banks, and I think it's finally time.

Trash. Will work fine no problems for awhile then out of no where will not work at all. Can't press anything anywhere on the screen. Whole app becomes unresponsive. Uninstalling doesn't work and will only become usable randomly. Could be a few hours to a few weeks. Not a phone problem either since I've had this problem on all my phones from Samsung, Google, and iPhone. Crazy unreliable. Better off sticking to the web version. That's still trash. Update 11/1/2020: Still trash lol.

This app has only worked for about 2 months on & off in the last year. For many years before that it worked fine. I go to log on and the login page just disappears and goes back to my main app page. That's just the latest encounter. Before that it would take as long as 2 to 3 minutes to get logged in "MAYBE". I do a lot of banking with my mobile. I have a LANDMARK account and their app works just fine. TIME TO CHANGE BANKS. I'm really tired of this. I've tried unloading & reloading app. No avail

Multiple problems throughout my history with Associated's app, but recently, I cannot even open the app. It starts and then goes back to my phone's home page. It just seems like every update something happens and it takes forever to fix. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. I've also tried to see if my connection was the problem (it wasn't). When it does work, the app is nice. It's just that, that occourance is few and far between.

I have used this app for almost two years with no problem. After a recent update it does not work AT ALL. Huge disappointment. EDIT: I have uninstalled/downloaded 2 times and still cannot log in. The app was fixed for almost over and a half years, but after the most recent update it won't even open. This is ridiculous. I've sent more than one email.

Even with double notification turned off it still insists on sending to a phone number that is obsolete. Unlike other bank apps it will not let you view account out of the USA. I think their app design and functionality is useless in my case, far below other bank apps. Going to have to close account and transfer to US Bank or BOA which the apps work correctly.
