Worked great, no problem. All apps and most files. Do not scan external sd-card which I accept, if I customize saving folders I expect some extra with work.

Didn't restore wifi passwords, I'm thinking about a factory reset. Really helpful if you skipped Drive on setup and just want apps and contacts without factory reset.

I purchased Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB and updated it to latest softwares. Now I'm not able to find this app anywhere in mobile and it is not even compatible with my mobile now. How am I suppose to transfer my data to this phone ? I'm not able to find anyway to use this app in my Asus mobile

it would be nice if you can clone your phone or data transfer to PC to help with back up process when doing factory reset

installed it in asus zenfone max pro m2 so I can transfer my files from my old zenfone laser 2. works fine with laser 2, however with m2 it automatically chooses as old device. like when you open the app and tapped get started you don't get to choose if it's an old device or new. It's already in old device mode and kow I can't transfer my files.

User cannot send data from old phone's SD card, it should have better interface explorer to select internal data AND external SD data from old Phone. Needs improvement.

Literally doesn't work. Regardless its Auto, QR code or manual input, simply cannot connect the 2 devices. The worst thing is that Google doesnt even have solution. I'm appalled.

I'll make sure i get my say lol Since you will of course take all my login information, but not let me comment on your forum, and send me to an empty sight. Your last update messed up my phone. I put it off for a long time and regret not finding out before i did, that it was malicious and would mess up my phone. Clearly you knew this update was crashing asus 5users phones, and kept sending me requests to update, so i did and now my phone isn't working right.. The settings have changed, everything

Old phone just scans the QR code on the new phone, beeps and then nothing happens. The Wi-Fi also breaks off for one of the phones suddenly. Both are Asus devices.

This app is garbage it won't let me select my note 10+ unless as the new phone it automatically marks it as the old phone and won't let change it but let's me choose for the Asus so it basically its useless unless I wanted to transfer to a new Asus makes me regret buying an Asus to begin with! And the Asus isn't compatible with smart switch!

It cloned my poco phone in minutes, including every app I use! Super nice.

It's almost perfect, really fast and preserves all metadata, unfortunately though it doesn't scan the SD card at all and that's where I had all od my pictures on the old phone, and the new phone doesn't have an SD card slot.

Maybe this app only works for ASUS to ASUS. I tried to get some media files out of my old Asus into my new Huawei and the Huawei was listed as an "old device" with no way of changing like it was available for selection on the Asus phone. I can't use it. If this is a bug, here, I pointed it out. If I were to transfer anything out of the Huawei to the Asus, no problem there. For me, this app is unusable.

Sorry, previous v.s worked almost perfectly infra 2 identical ZF2; and between a ZF2 & a ZF3. Now between 2 identical ZF3 all v.s only recognize 1-3 apps, while there are hundreds apps installed, so this app became of very (if any) limited use, pity. Back to v2.048.097 (still with the same issue) cause that v. doesn't change my hotspot settings, contrary to this one. For daily exchanges (even of clipboard) I use Total Commander (even infra WPs and droids or PCs.) Any idea why? Thks, best.

This app should be installed on every new Asus phone. You have so many pre-installed apps that are much more useless and you don't include this one. I wouldn't use an app from unfamiliar vendor for backup/restore (not Asus or Google, I mean) and I didn't have the Google Drive backups enabled, so this app was exactly what I needed to migrate from my old Zenfone 5 to a new Zenfone 5. It wasn't as smooth (several disconnects and no "Retry" button, so I had to restart the process), very slow and (probably not Asus's fault here) 6 of 16 applications it tried to migrate didn't install on the target device (Skype, Teams, Translate, Acrobat Reader, WhatsApp).

Cannot find device. Doesn't matter if I use the QR code, or sign in manually. Moving from a Pixel XL to the new ROG phone. NFC Android transfer failed as well. Off to a bad start moving to ASUS branded phone. Especially with ROG label on it. EDIT in response to Asus: The Asus phone will not see any backups in Google Drive. It backs up just fine on the Pixel though.

They are lying when they say no data costs. For some inexplicable reason this app forces the new phone to be a WiFi hotspot meaning that it is forced to use data. I tried it anyway to see if it was somehow doing it without using data but I soon got a text from my provider telling me I was near my limit. I subsequently accidentally exceeded my limit and had to, so cheers Asus. Use one of the many other data transfer apps available.

The first pairing option is the automatic way, second option is to use the qr code, and finally there's "enter the WiFi details manually" which should have been the first option. All of them have a high chance of failing to pair. I eventually got it to pair and then the data transfer over WiFi fails at about 2% progress, still copying contacts and did not even get to the big files like pictures and video. None of you geniuses even thought of "copy via USB cable", that would have been easier.

After I connected i realized I couldn't use cable but it did connect by Wi-Fi. The first time I transferred from SAMSUNG A71 I didn't get my call history but everything else like apps came over to the new Asus Zenfone 9. I tried a second attempt later to transfer just the text messages, contacts and call history and it copied perfectly. It just took 30 to 45 minutes. But I have a lot of data. After reading bad reviews I was quite pleasantly surprised with the functionality
