I absolutely loved the Windows Phone version of Athan Pro. Its interface was wonderful. And the UIX excellent. The Android version is quite decent, but there are many improvements needed: the prayer timings are often wrongly listed for some regions, the Fajr adhan plays upto an hour later than the listed time, app takes long to load. I do appreciate the recent update of the colour scheme and logo. Features like 99 Names and Hadith of the Day are good carry-overs from the Windows version.

Terrible app and support. I purchased the premium version, Adhan doesn't go off on time. Also the adhan I like, the sound doesnt work. When I contacted customer support they told me to reinstall the app, which I did which then reverted my app to the free version so I wasted money purchasing the app when it doesnt work. No response from support after that. Uninstalled!

The apps premium prices are a joke. I wouldn't mind to have paid £9.99 for a lifetime option. But you're asking for ridiculous amount in monthly, yearly and lifetime service. The app should basically only be an athan app, nothing more and fine keep the qibla compass. But everything else is bloatware and slow. I cannot believe the apps restriction is immediately apparent when opening it. Either give a £9.99 one off payment or expect to get a negative feedback.

Potentially brilliant app but bad marketing strategy and slow performance. The free app bombards you with ads, leaving you no choice but to upgrade or remove it. It would be better to allow a two week trial and let it expire if people don't want to pay. Even for those who are willing to pay, my Visa card wouldn't work. After 30 minutes of double checking, and triple checking my information, I gave up and switched to Salatuk - it just works.

Somewhat ok app. Don't buy paid version, it doesn't transfer over if you buy a different phone. Also many issues with spelling and some english translation is wrong. A major translation error is where it says (I seek forgiveness for Allah) instead of FROM. Also compass is wrong. Has a few other minor issues that I hope will be fixed soon by developer.

I had this app at a 5-star until a recent update where I can no longer change my notification settings. I had them set to play the Athan for Fajr and Beep for the remaining waqts. Now it plays a Dua for pre-Athan notifications and during Athan. Devs please fix this issue! Update: Issues fixed! 5 stars again.

The hadith reading swipes are extremely frustrating. Before finishing up the read, it keeps going to the next slide. For text the timings should be longer and probably a stop button. Also the swipes are not very accurate. If you want to scroll down to hadith, it keeps going to the next slide instead of sliding down. Please fix.

There are a few issues: if the adhan is going off and you touch the notification bar, the adhan stops. If you get a text or any notification, it turns off. The app won't play the notification sound or pop up when it's time to pray sometimes. I've checked the settings and it shows the notifications are on. Please fix

So apart from the app looking modern and attractive , adhan is only available on premium, and so is next day prayer times! BUT what I found most disappointing is the sleep stories. They are designed so beautifully, narrated by a relaxing voice who excells at English. However, they are full of inaccuracies: Allah is addressed with pbuh?!!! Khadidja is mentioned as the prophet's cousin and many more, plus the excessive focus on the controversies, which made me wonder whether it's all deliberate?

Update: new update is very bad, why I cannot select different athans? It would be the best if only I can select notificattion sound of the phone to specific prayers and athan to other prayers. Update: The developr listened to my review and now you can select between Athan and sound notification for each prayer independetly. Cons: The Athan sound volume is lower than other notifications in the phone.

Amazing app, everything necessary is free, but there are paid options. This is quite useful during Ramadan since it shows you exactly how long till you can stop fasting and even has a progress bar, which is really cool. It simply makes the life of a Muslim in non-Muslim countries way easier as instead of googling everything, all I need to do is open the app, and everything I need is on the front page. 10/10

Was working perfectly until today. App just wouldn't load. It shows a black screen and I can't access any of it's features. I rely on it to call Adhan and it's a must. Please fix it. I already uninstalled and reinstalled twice and still no luck. Edit: After the update last night, it's working well again. Jazak'Allahu khair to the developers.

What have you people done with the pre-notification settings? I set it to beep for pre-notification before. You have now removed that feature, don't see the option to change the prenotification settings. Playing some duas in chorus when I am speaking to people or at work. Is this convenient? Don't force the changes on your users. I am uninstalling it.

It is such a shame that widgets have been made a premium feature in this month of Ramadan especially when everyone is trying to comply with prayer times. Shows your commercial outlook with the app. Neither does it show correct time, nor does it make any effort to make prayer experience easier for a Muslim. It's only the appearance that has changed for the better, but it wasn't needed at all

The app is good & I honestly got it because it is available as wearable for my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. However there are a few things that needs to be improved, which are listed below: 1. More English translation options (ie., Muhsin Khan or Sahih International). 2. There should be a vibrate option for the notifications for the athan if you need to have your notifications turned down. 3. There needs to be a 12 hour option for the time for the wearable devices. 4. Compass doesn't work for watch.

Overall it's good. Just a couple of problems. First and foremost, when I open the app it immediately opens up to the Quran stories page and the tool bar on the bottom disappears so I can't go to anything I can actually use without closing the app and reopening it. Next is the issue with some of the media channels not working at all (the masjid & halal locators have this same problem). Then there's also the problem with the Fajr adhan. It seems to only give me the notification if I'm already otp

Finally fixed for pixel 3a -------- This is the only athan app with beautiful UI tons of features and works well too. This is the first app I paid to remove the ads as well for a job well done. Only one issue though that this app does closes occasionally on its own message saying "unfortunately athan pro stopped working" on my nexus 6. Hoping it will be fixed with future updates.

Update 10/7: dev responded. Thanks for the update. I installed it back and it still crashes when I open it. Previous review: Jazakallah for the great app. I have recommended this app to so many family members and friends. However it's been a couple of days since Android 11 was released. There should be a compatible version by now. It crashes instantly when I click on the icon. I'm using pixel 2xl running android 11. Please look into this.
